Sunscreen. It saved my pasty white skin today

    Scuse me sir...
You need to tell me where abouts in Ontario where it’s needed to wear sunscreen like that because there ain’t no sun where I’m at

Western Ontario 😅...the 'Peg . Stand down,it's cloudy and chilly now .

    You are damn funny.
Lmfaooo I can’t imagine the sun getting that hot around here enough for one to bust out the sunscreen rofl aw your pasty butt.
    Gratitude for fresh running water

Some people don't have it. I wash my hands 11 times a day with it.

Really blew me away thinking about that today while rinsing pizza grease off my hands.

Still wouldn't drink it, but very grateful to have it for other practical methods.

    God bless water period

I’ve been looking at water and global warming more seriously lately, I can’t take a shower in peace without feeling guilty. I can’t stand water to be running for no good reason anymore, more so then before.

    Today I’m grateful for:

Sitting outside of work enjoying sunshine and the view of the castle. It was peaceful.

Fun conversations online with friends that made me laugh.

Despite the fact a few of us have to remain at work while everyone else works from home, our office is filled with laughter and very little stress.

    A very happy Tuesday indeed.

I got money from ei today, and I'm grateful that I'll have to give it back to the govt. There's a different plan our company was approved for;pays us more while we are off work.

I'm even more grateful after talking with a colleague tonight. He says they are busy and thinks they will need us back at work soon

As an eternal night owl, I'm suddenly enjoying these completely silent, early mornings, of late.

When I wake up before 6am, I wake up naturally.

If I sleep passed 6am, my neighbor clomping over my head is what wakes me. That & what sounds like moving furniture for 2-hrs every morning.

Ah, peace. For 2-hrs more, the sounds of nothingness in the background...

I'm grateful that I am still employed. There are a lot of people who are not as fortunate.

Grateful for the people I work with too. Most days everyone gets along pretty well.

My 1st floor apt's patio door is wide open... too early for high humidity, safe, quiet... no highway traffic sounds, at all, which is a bit disconcerting, I must say, as it's the norm & nary a squawking bird or barking dog... at 9am.

Odd, but as a lifetime megametropolis dweller who's learned to tune out constant, overbearing sound... the peace & quiet is enormously strange, but welcomed. May not seem like a lot to the suburban/rural people... but, I've never in my life before experienced complete silence. It's very healing & may be in the forefront of the remainder of my life... excess noise is jarring to the soul... 'til recently, I've known nothing else.

    It's a good day.
