    I am in. Hi all.

Been a good girl with my 30-min aerobic a day. Calorie goal has been good since i downloaded this app. Got back to work few days ago and i am on my feet at work, so it looks promising as long as i dont break down and snack.

    Welcome to the group! 😊

    Today's check in.
Not much to report- finally got a new scale and like it. Tracks trends like happy scale so it will be nice to not double log. Staying in calorie goal today. I am back to working a lot of hours -70 ish a week as I am starting to get my feet wet in consulting as well as my regular 8-4 gig. Meal prep/pre logging is really helping me stay on track.

Pre-logging is great. I just have to remember to do it more often😀

I’m in. I would be thrilled to lose 15lbs. My biggest downfall is late night eating. I’m a night owl and have trouble sleeping. So I spend late night snacking and watching TV. I know this has got to some. Any helpful suggestions?

Welcome to the group! I also used to snack at night. Maybe you can try to keep low calorie snacks in a drawer or container in the refrigerator so that would be your go to snacks at night. Perhaps, crunchy vegetables with hummus, popcorn etc. you will do great! 😊

Hey everyone, weather is lovely which is making the lockdown very bearable. Foods are goin good, not too much snacking but my husband keeps bringing home yummy things which I find hard to resist but then when he doesn't I'm giving out under my breath 🤣

    Hey all
I’m trending down .4 of a pound a week,1.6 pounds lost in may . I’m happy with that. If I keep on this way I will have lost nearer 5 pounds rather than 10 by the end of June. I’ll be happy with any loss though. Im135 pounds and it’s usually this pint where I say eff it I can’t be bothered. Not this time though

    Happy Friday everyone!

I had a glass a wine last night for the first time in 35 days. It was great! I told my husband that my plan was to have only one glass so he put away the bottle after he served me. The issue with me is that I overeat when I drink alcohol. I went over my calories after having wine but did not have carbs. My daughters had brought cookies home and I did not have any. That is a huge win for me. Once I have a cookie, I can’t stop. Have a wonderful weekend everyone! 😊

Forgot to weigh in this morning. Had planned to weigh weekly. Can’t do it now cos a long bike ride this morning would throw out a silly weight (all sweat loss).

Will check in tomorrow morning. Was really hopeful of posting a good result for week one, but Mrs Gin came knocking yesterday and brought Mr Carbohydrate with her😳.

    Week 1
    Starting weight : 15,12
    Today’s weight : 15,9
    Target weight : 14,11

Could’ve / should’ve lost more as most of this will be fluid loss I think.

    Will try harder next week.

Need to leave the booze alone.

    Yes!!
  • I'm finally just about over my TOM I think starting to exercising really messed me up because its been about a 2 week ordeal when it's usually half that. Hopefully it will even out. I managed the treadmill from anywhere from 30 to 60 min 1-2 times a day for the last week. And I'm within 1lb of where I was before TOM showed up so I'm starting to feel good again. Hopefully tomorrows weigh in will put me back in the 209s!

Can I just say that, as an (English) bloke....

    I had to google TOM.
TOM (based upon my 18 year old daughter’s experiences) is horrible. Really not nice.
If us blokes experienced TOM, the world would have to shut down monthly.

Losing weight is hard. Even without Tom.

I knew TOM happened. Knew it was “a thing”
It hadn’t occurred to me that, on top of family, relationships, career etc etc. Women have to cope with trying to do the weight loss thing WITH Tom.

I have a (further) increased respect for women.

    Your amazing.

I’m so excited! At first I was concerned because the first week I gained a little weight, and during the middle of last week the scale went up by several pounds, even though I was sticking to my calories and exercise.

Today I weighed myself after a little over 2 weeks and I’ve lost a little over 2 pounds! I’m happy to be finally seeing the scale move, and I am definitely following a much more relaxed diet plan. I used to be super hardcore when I dieted and only eat certain foods. Now, I eat things that I crave (ie ramen or ice cream), but I fit it into my day. I don’t say no to chocolate or peanut butter, but I just have them in moderation. I can feel my goal getting closer !!!

    HW: (Dec of 2019) 132
    SW (May 17th): 124.8
    May 20th: 124.1
    May 24th: 124.8
    June 1st: 121.9
    GW: 110-115

You guys got this! It took probably months or years to put on the weight, so it will take time and patience to lose it.

    Happy Monday everyone!

This past weekend was my daughter’s High School graduation and had wine and ice cream. It was a special time so I don’t regret it. I gained .6 lbs which is not a lot. I also had pizza and went over my daily calories Friday and Saturday. This is a new week and I am going back to not having sugar. I may have a glass a wine once in a while but sugar is a major trigger for me.

Have a great week everyone! We can do this!!! 😊

Hello, all! Happy new week! Really going to try this harder! Doing OK but need to work out more and and watch portions as well as stay away from wine!

Can't wait til Wednesday. Ive ordered a stationary bike which is due to arrive on that day. I fear going back to the gym.

Today I'll make a light mango mousse!

I must log in all my food intake!

Congrats to all those losing! It's an inspiration!
