Baby girl is 10 weeks! 🎉

😅 I half don't believe the scale. I don't want to be too aggressive and gain it all back once I stop logging. It also might just be this week has been pretty active with walks and gardening and I don't log those as exercise. We'll see what happens next week!

    SW (1/1/2021) = 186.8
    GW = 145-150

    1/4 = 186.2
    1/11 = 184.8
    1/18 =183.4
    1/25 =184.0
    2/1 = 182.5
    2/8 = 181.6
    2/15 = 179.2
    2/22 = 183.7
    3/1 = 181.4
    3/9 = 181.4
    3/15 = 181.6
    3/22 = 181.6
    3/30 = 181.3
    4/5 - 182.0
    4/13= 181.8
    4/19 = 181.0
    4/26 = 180.8
    5/3 = 181.6
    5/10 = 178.6
    5/17 = 180.8
    5/24 = 179.6
    5/31 = 181.4 (didn't log in last week)
    6/7 = 177.6

Signed up with another challenge on here called the UAC (Ultimate Accountability Challenge). Have to stay within calorie budget, exercise at least 20 minutes per day, and log everything (sip, taste, bite, meal) that goes into your mouth. So far I've been keeping up on it, but it's only been a week. :)

Still biking on the weekend (having to get up and out by 5:00 a.m. to beat the heat), walking the dog most nights, and trying really hard to stay within calories (not always succeeding). I'm also trying really hard to be accurate and thorough with my logging.

    Challenges? Water, logging, carbs, calories

Positive things? Well, the weight is starting to go down again.... It's early in the month yet though.

Hang in there everybody! We've got this.

Well, that's disappointing, although not unexpected. Had a bad day on Saturday (almost 3x my calorie limit!!!!). Stress, frustration, uncertainty, trepidation, and just a general miasma of sadness and helplessness settled over me that day and I just ate. And ate. And ate. And there were blintzes and pancakes and fries and an ice cream sundae. I didn't exercise as much as I'd have liked that day and what I did Sunday sure didn't make up for it all. (It's true, you can't out-exercise a bad diet). On the other hand, I enjoyed every bite of that sundae.

It's super hot here right now. (112ºF predicted today, 113º tomorrow, cooling off to 110º by Saturday. It's not quite 10:00 a.m. and it's already 97º... I know, I know, it's a dry heat. But don't for a minute think we aren't cooking. All y'all dealing with heat and humidity are stewing. We bake, roast, and broil. :) ) I don't want to do anything except sit under the ac vent and read, while drinking iced tea.

However, on the plus side, I've upped my water intake (necessary in this weather) and I got a bunch of more or less low carb (net if not total) snacks to nosh on if I need something between meals. Not as good for me as veggies, I'm sure, but a dang sight tastier. Hopefully, during the upcoming week, I'll pull off a miracle and get back down to that weight from last week.

Hope y'all have a great week

    Happy Monday, friends!

    Time for a progress snapshot:

    x59ccoivnq3j.jpeg

In the big picture of things, I have 7 more pounds to lose in order to hit my 30 pound goal. As you can see, it has taken me a while to get here, so I’m on the slow and mostly steady path to weight loss.

    Have a great day!

    Jill ❤️

Hmmm... Here's my graph for just the past year. Because I was on and off MFP so many times over the years since I first started, I opted not to look at the graph for "from starting weight" because it's deceiving.

It's a really strong downward trend, until about January of this year. Then it just kind of stalled and even went up more than it should have. Hoping I can keep it going down now.

    That’s awesome!! Great downward progress.
I’ve been hovering around the same weight since January, and I’m ready for a downward trend. I picked up healthy groceries yesterday, and I’m on a 3 day morning dog walk with Roxie. I’m ready!

We got a little tiny bit of rain on Wednesday. We need so much more. That being said, good luck with the grass.
