Hi y'all! I'm back after a hiatus from MFP, but would LOVE new friends here for support. Spent the last YEAR (thx, Covid) shoving WAYYYYY too much (buttered) popcorn in my face. Oops....4

I would love to join also! I’m Keri from Va.
I hit my goal weight of 150, i wouldn’t be sad if I drop a bit more. Although, to be honest, I haven’t tried real hard. Haha
I have 2 grown children, and 3 grandkids. ❤️❤️ Our bonus baby is 16 and my Mom lives with us. Keeps us hopping all the time!!
Cheers!
@FitnessPalWorks haha I totally get the popcorn thing! 🍿6 -

Oh.....friend requests...There has been a surge of inappropriate pictures lately. I dismiss most requests unless sent with note saying why or how they know me. I have only a couple of male friends that I made years ago. I don't accept any from guys now. Too many perverts!1

Morning ladies
Other than a sore arm im ok with the shot..
I slept half way decent so thats good.. havr to take my son to work he is working 2-62 -
I've decided not to start on the working holiday episode today.
Instead I've been washing my hair, sprouting beans in the IP and making No Knead Bread. It'll be going in the oven in 45 minutes. Nice to have my prime morning time to do things for a change as I usually reserve it for writing and I'm dragging by the afternoon. Then I often can't be bothered to "faff about".
There really is no need to make bread, because Hove is stuffed with fabulous artisan bakeries, and, in fact, I haven't made any bread since we moved here, but I bought 2 kgs strong bread flour at the start of the pandemic last March, and never used it! It's just been sitting there, reproaching me. I love this recipe. I used to make it a lot where we used to live. No decent bakeries there. I will freeze it when it's done. I remember the grandchildren adored it, so might share it with them when all this is over.
When I contacted the mystery man by email, I found his work address online, so I had to be super careful how I worded my message. I was sure all his emails would go through a secretary first. I was very discreet. Bear in mind there was a 42 year gap between contacts, so I wasn't sure how good his memory was.

Morning, afternoon and evening, all,
Happy belated birthday to Barbara and Vicky!
Didn't sleep well last night, not sure why. Am leaving in a bit to drive an hour north to pick up my son--he's starting to get really antsy, as he's flying up to start that job in Yellowstone Park in four weeks, and he's already done everything he can to get ready, so now he's sitting on his hands and getting twitchy. I've been isolated, as has he, but I'll bring him back down here, and we'll isolate for ten days until my daughter and family come in on the 15th. As soldiers, she and her husband have already had their second vaccination, so it's as safe as we can get it at this point.
I'm bringing Johnny down to get him outside and get him doing some physical work - chopping wood for next winter, cleaning up the yard, digging some beds for some hops I want to plant in mid-April, after the last frost. It will do him good and save me some effort. I find it a little funny that he tends to do these things because he sees Corey and me as ancient and feeble, but hey, free labor is free labor. Intent is a moot point.
The neighbors now not only have tiny barking lap dogs, they've got three potbellied pigs. It's a large enough yard that there's no smell, which I appreciate. The pigs run around the yard like crazy, and are so much fun to watch. Especially the littlest one. Its little short legs mean it's always a few strides behind the other two, and I have a lot of sympathy for that... I had forgotten that pigs bark... well, they whoof, which sounds sort of barky, but much less annoying than the little barkalators. They only squeal when picked up or in danger, so not something you hear often.
Need to get the car warmed up a bit - it's a diesel, and performance is much better if you give it a minute or two. Later y'all,
Love,
Lisa5 -
Hi ladies
Still catching up but just wondered, is anyone else getting friend requests from "females" with strange profile pictures? I've had two recently one bending over showing her skimpy knickers and one with her skirt flaring up showing off her bum cheeks (she was wearing a thong) is it me or is that odd?
Take care ladies

Time flies! March, ALREADY?!
Thank you Barbie for bringing us into another month and for being a constant in our little stream of life and all of the stresses and worries that go with it!
Machka- Your mindful march calendar just sent me to on a side tangent to the actionforhappiness site. That is a nice little site with a lot of ideas for living a happier life. Do you use the app or have it bookmarked on your computer?
ttfn xoxoxo KJ (Kelly)
It comes up on Facebook. I've liked the FB pages of the site.
The whole calendar comes up at the beginning of the month and then each day's message is posted each day.

I trimmed my little dog Teddy boo, and for once it came out pretty nice and even! He tends to face me and wiggle, so I often miss patches on his hind end. But not this time!
Did I tell you all that my stable is reopening? I ride again Thursday. Yay!
On my phone, I check this site and email, CNN and NPR, and Facebook. I play Solitaire.
Happy Wednesday!

I have declined all the friend requests from people with the photos with bare backsides. Today I declined a request from a woman whose photo looked nice and friendly but the recent friends she had were all women with bare backsides.0

Did a DVD called “extreme cardio” but it was really more weights. I’m going to try doing another extreme cardio DVD tomorrow
After exercise came home because I forgot my phone then went to Aldi then WM since Vince needed ice cream. Realized that today is tuesday and not Wednesday like I was thinking for some reason. Made the dough for sourdough bread that I’ll take to a friend’s house Thursday when I go there. Got dinner ready then went back to walMart with Vince and then Lowes Hardware. Anything to get out of the house! Will probably work on the x-stitch a bit before we have dinner. Update: never did get to the x-stitch
The Hobby Lobby said they don’t take the 40% off coupon, but I’m thinking that that may just be the HL here since they’re really the only craft store in town.
Got 2 loads of laundry in today
Tracey – I guess I’ve seen a few launches. It was something when SpaceX went up the first time and those boosters came down together. We were able to see everything (except when they touched ground). ‘what never ceases to amaze me, even tho I know that it’s coming, is how long it take for the sonic boom. Vince just read that the launch has now been postponed until thursday due to weather.
You know something, in a way I’ll be sad to go back to the way things were (if that’ll ever happen). I’m enjoying playing mahjongg online and even seeing some of the Green rooms’ performances online. But I do miss ceramics. Great that they opened yesterday
Viv UK – you’re not the only one getting these friend requests. My “decline” button is sure getting a workout
Looking forward (probably) to Easter in church. First I’ll go to some masses to just see how things are.
katla – happy early anniversary
Rebecca – your husband doesn’t qualify for getting his shot early! Amazing!!
Vicki – happy birthday
Okie – so glad you at least temporarily got the water. I just can’t imagine having to haul it
pip – your home is looking really fantastic. I especially like that (I don’t know what it is) thing that’s hanging on the door (?) in the last picture.
Michele now in FL
Kirby’s dad had an old wood boat. That’s the steering wheel from it, that’s on the door, probably from the 50’s. The thing on r
The back wall was from OfferUp, $10 bucks I think, was advertised as a garden decoration crosspiece. I just turned it sideways1 -
I wanna friend request with a bare butt. :0/
Welcome new peeps
Happy bday to all March babies.
Thanks for all the comments on our new place. More decorations to come. Gotta finish cleaning up the apartment, we have til the 19th, we got time3 -
I don't even look at friend requests as I don't do friends. I have no idea whether there are any bare butts!!!!
I'm busy enough keeping up with you lot.

The few male requests I have received when I look up their friends if allowed often only have women friends no males. To me that is a red flag and I decline. I only have had one male friend here and he was a nice guy. He has since left.
Rough night...Drew got a hold of and ate 2 Candbury eggs I had for my son for Easter. She did it at 11 o'clock as I was getting ready for bed. So trip to emergency Vet. I didn't get home until 4:30. First I have to watch for chocolate poisoning. If she makes through to this afternoon she should be okay from that. Then I have to watch for pancretitis from the rich center of the egss and bowel obstruction from the wrappers for 3-5 days. So bland diet for her the next few days. The did make her vomit the treatment for this. She also got IV fluids.
I admit I lost it around 3. At 2:10 they told me I should be able to get her and go home around in about 20 minutes. Didn't get her until 4. DH would not go with me. He did make up for it slightly by making her rice today. She is having 91% fat free hamburger/chicken and rice for the next 3-5 days.
We will have a low key day today.
Margaret
I am going to make beef broth today for her today. I learned recently homemade broth is great for someone who has had a stomache problem.8 -
Margaret Sorry the pup's adventure into chocolate kept you up all night. Hope that he will make a 100% recovery.
Vicki, Rita, and Barbara Happiest of birthdays to all of you!
Pip Your new home is looking lovely. You have very good taste in color and furniture placement.
Heather Your bread looks delicious! And, the flower photos are lovely.
Katla I am so happy that you and your husband are finally getting the shots. I too cannot imagine why Rebecca's husband would not be first in line.
I am very excited to be getting my eyes examined tomorrow. My glasses have needed to be replaced for over a year!

Poor Drew! I hope she is all better quickly. Sounds like she is on the mend. Teddy had an episode last week, never did find out what he got into.

I know all dogs are different.....I had a 7 lb toy poodle that ate an entire pan of fudge. We put it on top of the fridge to cool.....she jumped on the cabinet and then on top of the fridge to get to it. She was fine. To the best of my knowledge, the only time she was on the cabinet. Another time she ate the bowl of hershey kisses I put on the coffee table at Hub and I's first house. The fudge event was about 6 years before that and I didn't think about it. Her other favorite thing was grease. She was not one to get in the trash, but if there was something greasy (paper towels used for draining, a can of old grease, etc) she did. She lived to be 16. I still miss that pup. She was my bestest friend. My parents got her for me before they told me they were divorcing.
I learned with the last pup that to induce vomiting, you give them peroxide. For such a small dog, just a capful or so. For my 140 lb great dane, it was enough that I poured it in a drinking cup for him. He took the first gulp willingly because he was getting a people cup.....then I had to force him to drink enough to puke everything up.
I hope she recovers well!
