Bed is out together and made for our first night in our new house9 -
Barbara- Tim is not a traveler. He barely was able to manage the road trip from Michigan to Texas when Joaquin was born, four years ago. Pretty sure I would have to drug him to do that again. He is afraid of flying. Lol. We are pretty much polar opposites.1

Well back from getting jabbed. Went like clockwork.. except i felt a bit nauseous but breathed my way out of it,because of Coumadin they made me sit for 30 mins,and once they knew I didnt feel well I had to sit a little longer.
But im home and watching TV..gonna lay low the rest of the day4 -
Rebecca--I can't believe how grown up Athena is? Great pictures, thanks for sharing.
Viv UK--I have been getting several of those friend requests for a couple weeks. Most are pretty almost naked pictures. I just delete them. Not sure why this is happening.
Barbara--Happy Birthday. Sounds like you had a great day.
Today is my birthday and so far it is going well. Got flowers and a cute little bunny delivered at work from DH and DSIL. Makes me feel special. Kids that live here in town stopped last night and and gave DH and I our gifts. I always say having them a day a part they only have to make one stop. I get to go to chiropractor after work and then home to a nice evening at home and bed early.
weigh in today and I am down. For the month of Feb I can log a 1.4 loss. Not a lot, but sure beats a gain.

I received a letter/card from my oldest grandson for the first time. He is in first grade. I am over the moon with pleasure. I will go card shopping later today so that I can write back to him. I want it in the mail asap. 😍3

Wrapped up a major project at work today ... one which started in about mid-December.
At last, I finally feel like my 'off work' time is my own.
Didn't do much this evening. Even lay on the sofa watching TV for a bit. And now, I'm going to bed early.

Water update.....things almost took a grim turn for my hub this afternoon. The holding tank fell to the level that it wouldn't send water to the house any longer. Hubs was going to be filling all of the toilets in the house each morning so I could use them while he was at work. I told him I am NOT hauling water from the neighbors to be able to use the bathroom. Luckily, the water truck came a day early and we have a full holding tank once more. Theoretically, it should last us 3+ weeks with normal water usage, but we will continue to shower at the neighbors to conserve water until either 1) the well is fixed or 2) he gets tired of us and tell us to go away
. We will gift him a Costco gift card for his kindness. He is a Costco junkie!

Julie-the doctor I deal with is usually fairly quick to get back if he believes something needs done. At my last visit the plan was I would see him in May unless tests warranted sooner action. They called very quickly after blood work when he wanted my calcium increased. With tests being released last Friday, I am not overly concerned that I haven’t received a call yet. He may have to consult with others, and that can take time. I believe if anything was an emergency, he would have contacted me already. With some of these chronic conditions, we can see results and say “Oh my,” but to the folks who deal with it is a normal process. Will give him a few more days.

My oldest son has a birthday today also-he turned 33, which is how old I was when I had him. He has turned out to be such a wonderful man, husband and father. Got to FaceTime with him and DIL tonight so that was a nice bonus visit.
Went for a nice walk after work. It was around 39 with a bit of breeze, brisk but not too cold. I love that the days are getting longer. Now for warmer temperatures.
