I trimmed my little dog Teddy boo, and for once it came out pretty nice and even! He tends to face me and wiggle, so I often miss patches on his hind end. But not this time!

Did I tell you all that my stable is reopening? I ride again Thursday. Yay!

On my phone, I check this site and email, CNN and NPR, and Facebook. I play Solitaire.

    Happy Wednesday!

:) I have declined all the friend requests from people with the photos with bare backsides. Today I declined a request from a woman whose photo looked nice and friendly but the recent friends she had were all women with bare backsides.

Did a DVD called “extreme cardio” but it was really more weights. I’m going to try doing another extreme cardio DVD tomorrow

After exercise came home because I forgot my phone then went to Aldi then WM since Vince needed ice cream. Realized that today is tuesday and not Wednesday like I was thinking for some reason. Made the dough for sourdough bread that I’ll take to a friend’s house Thursday when I go there. Got dinner ready then went back to walMart with Vince and then Lowes Hardware. Anything to get out of the house! Will probably work on the x-stitch a bit before we have dinner. Update: never did get to the x-stitch

The Hobby Lobby said they don’t take the 40% off coupon, but I’m thinking that that may just be the HL here since they’re really the only craft store in town.

Got 2 loads of laundry in today

Tracey – I guess I’ve seen a few launches. It was something when SpaceX went up the first time and those boosters came down together. We were able to see everything (except when they touched ground). ‘what never ceases to amaze me, even tho I know that it’s coming, is how long it take for the sonic boom. Vince just read that the launch has now been postponed until thursday due to weather.

You know something, in a way I’ll be sad to go back to the way things were (if that’ll ever happen). I’m enjoying playing mahjongg online and even seeing some of the Green rooms’ performances online. But I do miss ceramics. Great that they opened yesterday

Viv UK – you’re not the only one getting these friend requests. My “decline” button is sure getting a workout

Looking forward (probably) to Easter in church. First I’ll go to some masses to just see how things are.

    katla – happy early anniversary

Rebecca – your husband doesn’t qualify for getting his shot early! Amazing!!

    Vicki – happy birthday

Okie – so glad you at least temporarily got the water. I just can’t imagine having to haul it

pip – your home is looking really fantastic. I especially like that (I don’t know what it is) thing that’s hanging on the door (?) in the last picture.

    Michele now in FL

Kirby’s dad had an old wood boat. That’s the steering wheel from it, that’s on the door, probably from the 50’s. The thing on r
The back wall was from OfferUp, $10 bucks I think, was advertised as a garden decoration crosspiece. I just turned it sideways

Margaret Sorry the pup's adventure into chocolate kept you up all night. Hope that he will make a 100% recovery.

Vicki, Rita, and Barbara Happiest of birthdays to all of you!

Pip Your new home is looking lovely. You have very good taste in color and furniture placement.

Heather Your bread looks delicious! And, the flower photos are lovely.

Katla I am so happy that you and your husband are finally getting the shots. I too cannot imagine why Rebecca's husband would not be first in line.

I am very excited to be getting my eyes examined tomorrow. My glasses have needed to be replaced for over a year!

Poor Drew! I hope she is all better quickly. Sounds like she is on the mend. Teddy had an episode last week, never did find out what he got into.

The few male requests I have received when I look up their friends if allowed often only have women friends no males. To me that is a red flag and I decline. I only have had one male friend here and he was a nice guy. He has since left.

Rough night...Drew got a hold of and ate 2 Candbury eggs I had for my son for Easter. She did it at 11 o'clock as I was getting ready for bed. So trip to emergency Vet. I didn't get home until 4:30. First I have to watch for chocolate poisoning. If she makes through to this afternoon she should be okay from that. Then I have to watch for pancretitis from the rich center of the egss and bowel obstruction from the wrappers for 3-5 days. So bland diet for her the next few days. The did make her vomit the treatment for this. She also got IV fluids.

I admit I lost it around 3. At 2:10 they told me I should be able to get her and go home around in about 20 minutes. Didn't get her until 4. DH would not go with me. He did make up for it slightly by making her rice today. She is having 91% fat free hamburger/chicken and rice for the next 3-5 days.

We will have a low key day today.

    Margaret

I am going to make beef broth today for her today. I learned recently homemade broth is great for someone who has had a stomache problem.

    Margaret -

I know all dogs are different.....I had a 7 lb toy poodle that ate an entire pan of fudge. We put it on top of the fridge to cool.....she jumped on the cabinet and then on top of the fridge to get to it. She was fine. To the best of my knowledge, the only time she was on the cabinet. Another time she ate the bowl of hershey kisses I put on the coffee table at Hub and I's first house. The fudge event was about 6 years before that and I didn't think about it. Her other favorite thing was grease. She was not one to get in the trash, but if there was something greasy (paper towels used for draining, a can of old grease, etc) she did. She lived to be 16. I still miss that pup. She was my bestest friend. My parents got her for me before they told me they were divorcing.

I learned with the last pup that to induce vomiting, you give them peroxide. For such a small dog, just a capful or so. For my 140 lb great dane, it was enough that I poured it in a drinking cup for him. He took the first gulp willingly because he was getting a people cup.....then I had to force him to drink enough to puke everything up.

    I hope she recovers well!

Pip: Congrats on the first night in your new house!!! I love the photos and think you and Kirby have a very nice place to live.

Allie: I had my first jab yesterday, too. The pharmacy where I got my vaccination made us sit for 20 minutes or so after the vaccination before we could go on about our day. I came home with a band-aid on my arm. This morning my shoulder is a bit sore but not bad. I have a second dose scheduled for March 20. The vaccine is Pfizer. We need to do what we can to stay healthy. :star:

Machka: The phone is a mini computer. I have games like solitaire and cribbage available on my phone and also download library books to read through Library to Go. I also txt chat with family members and make voice calls now and then.

Tracey: “Tensions ae high in the produce section as no one dares to lick their fingers--” EEEWWW! It is a good thing we have early senior hours at the grocery store. Imagine how yucky things would be by afternoon!

Barbara: I use stevia clear only in coffee. DH, too. He is an insulin dependent diabetic, so both of us are careful about the amount of sugar we consume. :ohwell:

    Keri form VA: Welcome! :star:

Kylia: I also dismiss most friend requests. I am happy with the group of women here and not inclined to add people. I’ve noticed that many people seem to be striving to get the most new friends. It seems like a social competition and I am not comfortable with that. :noway:

Heather: Your bread looks wonderful!!! The photo is making my mouth water.

Margaret: We had a similar situation with our dog several years ago. The vet put him on a white rice diet plus chicken broth and a bit of boiled chicken. He stayed on that diet for several weeks before he could transition back to kibble and canned dogfood. He survived and has done well since then. We’ve been careful about what things he can get into. NO Chocolate! He gets kibble and beneful canned dog food. :star:

Peach: I am not sure what the State of Washington has set up as rules. My cousin lives there & recently got his vaccination. He and his wife are a few years younger than we are. My cousin has several serious health issues, including cancer. Rebecca’s DH has had serious health issues in the past. I haven’t heard anything about how he is doing these days. :flowerforyou:

Happy Belated Birthday Barbara and Vicki. :star:

Tracey- Love the cartoon. I never lick my fingers too open those bags. I fight with them for a bit and if I get too frustrated, I grab some water drops from the produce misters and open them. There are too many germs in grocery stores for my comfort to be licking my fingers.

I got one jab of the Pfizer vaccine. Due for the second next week. Just had a bit of a sore arm for a day. I kept moving it and I think that helped keep the blood flowing through and it wasn't much of a problem. My dad got his first dose of Moderna and had same reaction as I did. My mister had an awful time with Moderna. The second one was worse than the first.

Phones - Mostly it's a tool for me, but I do play a few games on it when I'm bored. I have Kindle on it too, but don't like reading that much on a small screen. I also have my audio books on it and it works well for that.

Happy birthdays to the March kids. Hugs to those in need.

on my phone I text, Facebook(all the time) and play three versions of Candycrush. Very rarely actually use it to call/get calls. I do need to put this page on it so I can check in when I am at mom's. I only check in here when on my desktop. There are a few apps on it- for coupons for individual stores like Hobby Lobby, 99cent store and Harbor Freight Tools- don't use those very often.

Peach: I am so happy that DH and I have had our first doses. It feels like a relief to get the first vaccination. We’ll need to take our second doses at the end of the month. Regarding Rebecca, I am guessing that Rebecca’s DH needed a medical appointment with a specialist. I look forward to hearing from her again. :flowerforyou: Good luck with your eye appointment. I hope you get just the right glasses prescription. :star:

Kim: I am delighted to see your post!

Allie: It is good to see you! We had our first doses yesterday and went to bed early. I am feeling better today. We each have an additional vaccination near the end of the month. :star:

Pip: I am delighted to see your happy posts. Your spin ride reminds me to get out into the garage and burn some calories on my terra-tryke.

I received my very first letter from our grandson in Illinois and I am thrilled. I’ve written a card back to him and plan to take it to the post office today.
