    SW Rnd 152 116.0 AW 115.35
6/1 117.5 All company is leaving before noon. Ate chips and 2 cookies at Memorial Day picnic yesterday. It’s all good!
6/2 116.5 Woke up with headache and a touch of vertigo. It’s that time of year!
    6/3 115.5
6/4 114.5 Fasted 19 hours, OMAD steak, broccoli and cauliflower with butter. Vertigo this morning is bad, I hope to make it to water fitness
6/5 115.0 Didn’t go to WF yesterday. Meeting one of my WW friends, who was told by her doctor to stop doing WW, and is using Noom, to catch up.
6/6 115.5 Going to take my new neighbor to WW this morning. She is desperate to find a plan that works for her. She has retired and moved from Anchorage to live with her mom and become her caregiver.
6/7 115.5 vertigo seems to have been fixed. Thank you, DizzyFix!
6/8 114.0 That’s the second time I’ve had 114.x since about 60 years ago. My only explanation is a longer period of IF yesterday. We were going to go to Golden Corral but DH played Tripoley for the first time in over a year and had forgotten when it ended and we missed “early diners” discount. We’re going there today. I know the weight is likely to go up tomorrow. That’s fine.
6/9 114.5 Went to Golden Corral so I expected this to be higher. Fasting since then, about 3:15-3:30.
6/10 115.0 Fasted 19.5 hours. Large adult beverage last night sitting out with neighbors.

    Hi all , 😃
    Round 151 - 2.7lbs
    Highest Weight 223lbs
    Starting challenge weight171lbs
    Round Goal 169lbs

    Tue 1 171
Wed 2 171 - so “good” yesterday that disappointed with no change and whilst I know that is irrational and negative and immature, I continue a lifelong battle with unrealistic self expectations. Walked , ate well and kept myself together today so come on tomorrow - let’s do this !
Thu 3 169.7 -thankful that I didn't sabotage myself yesterday - into the 160s hooray!
Fri 4 170.5 don’t know what my body is doing but rolling with it 😌
Sat 5 169.2 ok , thanks body for doing the right thing . Love you really ( even though I’ve fought with you for decades 😊)
    Sun 6 169.5 what a rollacoaster week
Mon 7 169 absolutely delighted - hit my goal early - just hope I stay there. Have been working with calorie deficit for nearly 2 weeks and it's really working for me. Up and down but definitely trend is down.
Tue 8 169.5 my family do actually call me "Mrs. Speak too soon." I am still being thoughtful and making good choices though so, come on body , why not play along :D
Wed 9 170 don’t know what’s going on but still holding on
    Thu 10

    Hang in there!

I’ve done a lot of starting & stopping over the years. So after over a year, I think that is how long it's been since trying these Rounds.., I'm trying, again. I basically started over with Round 151 (started it, late).
    4’9” petite-sm. boned
Ultimate goal: 98 lbs (subject to change)
    SW (starting over--May 24, 2021): 160.3

    Round 151 Lost 3.1 lbs. EW: 157.2

    Round 152 Goal -156.2 lbs

    Round 152
    Day/Weight/Comment
    6/1 158.2 not a good start
6/2 159 still effects from Sunday’s baby shower for my Son & his wife. Will get back on track today.
    6/3 160.2 :(
    6/4 158.6  8,000 steps, today.
    6/5 158.6
6/6 159.2 :( That's ok. I'm back on it. Will be very good with dieting today & the next 4 days. I'm determined.
    6/7. 158.6
6/8 158.6 at this point, doesn’t look like I’ll meet my goal this round. Didn’t do well, today. The stress is almost unbearable. I’ll be happy if I’m under 160 at end of this round. So much for the determination that I had on the 6th. Feeling down.
    6/9 159.3 :( Oy...
    6/10 159.6 not surprised.
    Gained 1.4 lbs this round.
The next 10 days are another opportunity to improve.

    😷Take care! Stay safe!😷
    June focus: maintain < 150
improving stamina, strength, flexibility, which may impact the scale

    Aims:
    2021 Focus:
    • Maintain weight < 150
    • Strengthen strategies to reframe the tendency to use unhealthy snack food as a reward/treat.
    • Make sure I have prepared healthy snacks available
    • Cut down on eating between meals by keeping busy
    [/color]
Never give up! Never give in!
    Recent Back Story:
    • 2018 goal: get back down to 160 ✅
    • 2019 goal: proceed down to 150 ✅ with 2 months to spare
    • 2020 goal: maintain below 150 dropping slowly down to 145 ✅ Strength training has slowed progress, but that’s okay.
    • That's a WIN in my book!
    • 2021
    • Focus: maintenance! I might even manage to lose a bit more ever so slowly.
    • (One good thing about Covid is that I don't have to traverse the minefield of family celebration meals.)

THERE ARE NO QUICK FIXES OR SHORTCUTS to achieving permanent change.
REMINDERS: One or two thoughts which might give heart to some of you.
    • Daily weight fluctuations are normal, and can be as much as 2 lbs a day for no apparent reason.
    • A general downward trend is what we are looking for.
    • Eating out can cause apparent weight gain because of high sodium levels, but usually goes quickly. Drinking extra water helps with this.
    • The human body does not react instantly to what we do to it. Sometimes it can take several days to see results.
    • Plateaus are a normal part of the process. The body is consolidating and adapting to your new way of eating/exercising.
    • The closer you get to your goal weight, the more difficult it becomes to lose weight, as your body becomes more efficient at using what you feed it.
    • When you exercise you build muscle, which takes up less space than fat, so use measurements as well as weight to assess your progress.
    • Getting/Staying fit and healthy requires a lifestyle change for most people.
Stick with the process. It DOES work! But it does take time, effort, and most of all, patience!
