So this is a Cyber Cafe What'll be?

Hi, Zzyyggy. Yum, ziti with garlic bread from the cybercafe is delicious! I want one of those big crunchy chocolate chip cookies for dessert and my own carafe of coffee with cream and sugar. The weather is lovely out here on the terrace unlike my weather today. It was hot and humid after an early (4:00 am) thunderstorm. That thunderstorm woke me up and I couldn’t get back to sleep.

Hi Linda, we had another day of clouds, rain, and cold. I'm beginning to sound like a broken record. I did get a swim in, and a trip to the Shelburne Museum. I had a good time there inspite of the rain. For dinner tonight I would love a bowl of beef stew with lots of crusty bread and butter for dipping and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of blueberry pie with vanilla ice cream and an iced mocha. I had the real thing this morning from Starbucks. Stopped there on my way to the museum. I'll eat out on the terrace again and enjoy the warm tropical sunshine.

Hi, Zzyyggy. We had a gorgeous day today—82 degree high with sunshine, low humidity, and a nice breeze. I would love one day a week just like today all summer long. If there was some place where every day was like today, I would move there immediately. Yes, I want to live at the cybercafe. It was a meatball macaroni and cheese night for me. Chef Francois makes it with lots of my favorite vegetables. He also made molasses ginger cookies into sandwich cookies filled with orange vanilla cream that pairs perfectly with my iced tea.

Hi Linda, we had another rainy day here. I had pt this morning, and then slept the rest of the afternoon. For dinner tonight I would love some fried scallops with french fries, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some klondiKe bars and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace where I can enjoy the warm tropical sunshine.

Hi, Zzyyggy. We had another amazing day—the temperature in the mid 70’s, sunny, and breezy. We’ve got some rain in the forecast starting Saturday night through Wednesday morning, maybe it will actually rain. I’m freezing today because Sweetie and I spent the afternoon in the arctic air at Miss Nora’s Hair Salon. It was colder than I can ever remember it being. I think I’m just finally defrosting. Viktor brought me my bunny slippers and my fuzzy blue blanket already. I ordered a hot chocolate and fresh from the oven apple crisp served with warm vanilla cream sauce.

Hi Linda, we had another rainy wet day. No sun at all. I'm getting rather tired of this. For dinner tonight I would love a diner burger with onion rings, and root beer. For dessert I would love a hot fudge sundae and an iced mocha. I'll enjoy it out on the terrace in the warm tropical sunshine.

Hi, Zzyyggy. We had another beautiful day, but I didn’t get out of the house today. It’s supposed to rain overnight and into Sunday morning and then start raining again on Sunday night. I’ve gotten to the point where I’m skeptical since the storms tend to go around us.
A hot fudge sundae sounds good—I’ll add a brownie layer on the bottom and chocolate covered espresso beans and M&Ms on top (and extra on the side). We’ll get to watch the sunset at the cybercafe.

Hi Linda, we had sunshine today. Warm glorious sunshine in the afternoon. Then it started raining again. I did get in a walk and sit outside for bit reading. For dinner tonight I could go for a prime rib with baked potato, salad, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some sugar cookies, and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace tonight since the clouds are back in the real world.

Hi, Zzyyggy. I felt chilled today because the temperature hovered around 70 degrees . It’s been cloudy most of the day, but it’s supposed to start raining by 11:00 pm. Possibly. Maybe. We’ll have a couple of cooler days of rain and then we’re going to warm up. By the beginning of June the heat will be moving in. Is it too soon to be wishing for autumn?
An iced mocha and sugar cookies for dessert will be great, made even yummier with a handful of M&M’s. Or possibly more M&M’s. Perhaps Chef Francois would bake some sugar cookies with M&M’s baked in them. We’ll be heading over to see the kids tomorrow. They’re grilling some ribeye steaks. Our grandson, who’s staying over tonight, informed me that we’re having ice cream for dessert. Okay. I wonder if it’s Harris Teeter’s Truly Chocolate. It’s the best and it is truly delicious.

Hi Linda, well Igor certainly has the place well decorated for Memorial day with all the flags. Francois has set up the grill. I'm going to have the grilled spare ribs with potatoes and corn on the cob with a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of angel food cake with vanilla ice cream, and an iced mocha. We had a full day of sunshine all day with temps in the 70s. Got a walk in, and spent some time outside reading. Hope you have a good barbecue.

Hi, Zzyyggy. We didn’t put our flag out today because I thought it might rain. It didn’t rain though. We spent the afternoon with the kids, it was really nice and the food, as always, was delicious. There was chocolate cake, but we forgot the ice cream. Fortunately, Chef Francois made vanilla caramel pecan crunch ice cream—I just ordered a big bowl. I’ll have a cup of hot coffee after dessert. I’m freezing. It’s cold here. The house is 68 degrees right now, although the downstairs thermostat says it’s 74 degrees. Something is wrong there. The high today was 68 degrees. Tomorrow’s high temperature is supposed to be 63 degrees. That feels chilly after temperatures in the mid to high 80’s.

Hi Linda, we had another gorgeous day here. Temps were in the 70s with lots of sunshine, and clear blue sky. I got out for a long walk in the evening, and sat out and read a couple of times. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the BLT with no tomatoes but lots of bacon, and mayo grinder with a coca cola, and a bag of chips. For dessert I'll have a giant chocolate chip cookie and an iced mocha. I'll eat out by the pool and go for a swim first. Later we'll have a bonfire, with s'mores

Hi, Zzyyggy. You get sun, we got rain. The high today was 60 degrees, but the temperature stayed mostly in the mid 50’s. We usually have temperatures in the high 80’s this time of year. It was cold and I had a wellness exam today. It was pouring rain for the whole 35 minute drive. I haven’t looked at any of my test results, but at least that’s done for the year.
I wonder if you can make s’mores using chocolate chip cookies. Not the giant cookies, just smaller, crispy ones. Viktor, my favorite waiter, has already supplied me with a thermal carafe of coffee with cream and sugar.

Hi Linda, we had another gorgeous day today. I got in a swim, and a trip to the museum. Had my first ice cream cone there. I think we'll be getting your rain later tomorrow. For dinner tonight I would love a plate of spaghetti and meatballs with lots of parmesan cheese, and garlic bread with a coca cola. For dessert I'm going to have a slice of blueberry crumble with vanilla ice cream and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace tonight. Let's give the chocolate chip cookie s'more's a try tonight. I love the Cyber bonfire there are no mosquitos.

Hi, Zzyyggy. We had a cloudy, rainy, sunny, cloudy day 😲. What a great day you had Zzyyggy. I wish I could have gone with you. I did laundry today and I still have more to do tomorrow. That’s what happens when we get company and I can’t complain about that. It was good for me.
The chocolate chip cookie s’mores are a definite yes! Viktor can bring more coffees for everyone, too. However, did you see the ice cream desserts in Betty’s email? Hopefully, Chef Francois will be making some of those recipes throughout the summer. I can’t wait 😋, it will be something to look forward to.
I was so stressed out from going to the doctor yesterday that I slept 9 hours straight Tuesday night. All my bloodwork came back great except my cholesterol was high. The doctor thinks I should go on a statin. Been there, done that and I’m never going to take statins again. Perhaps these drugs work fine for other people, but I had side effects I can’t live with. The doctor didn’t say anything about my lower A1C. And she didn’t say anything about the fact that my ferritin level dropped 41 points—an indication that my inflammation level is lower. I guess all that really matters is that I know the changes I’ve made in my diet and exercise routine are making a positive difference.

Hi everyone. What a charming cyber café. Everyone's meals sound delicious. I've had a long day working on my feet so I'm looking forward to a decadent dinner. I'd like to order- a tender steak, cheesy mashed sweet potatoes with herbs, hush puppies, and BBQ prawns. A real surf and turf feast. I'll have a frosty root beer to drink. For dessert I'm thinking crème brûlée and chocolate dipped cherries. YUM.

Hi everyone, welcome to the cyber cafe easypeasy_lemonsqueezy, Great first order. The best thing about the cafe is the food is free, and calorie free. Linda, congradulations on your improved scores. That's great. We got the clouds back and rain today. Didn't do much of anything. For dinner tonight I'm going with the bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, and root beer. For dessert I'll have the chocolate brownie lush from Betty's desserts. I'll eat out on the terrace tonight.

Hi everyone again. Linda I think I got Betty confused with A Taste of Home. I just saw the dessert news letter, and Francois said he would work on the list through out the weekend. Tonight he's going to start with the Berry lush cake. that looked really good.

Hi Zzyyggy, thanks for your warm welcome. What a tasty dinner you're having, I love a good burger. I wonder what the view from the terrace is like? Maybe I will join you. I'll be having the tempura shrimp, fried rice with all the fixins, and crunchy spring rolls on the side. Sweet tea to drink. Black forest gateau cake for dessert!

Hi Zzyyggy and welcome to the cybercafe easypeasy_lemonsqueezy. The view on the terrace at the cybercafe depends on what you’d like to see, although there is the ocean side terrace and the mountain side terrace. The mountain side terrace has a lovely gazebo with a full kitchen and bar setup. There’s also the brick oven where Chef Francois makes brick oven pizza, bread, as other goodies. You can see the farm, as well as the mountains. Really the view is whatever you imagine it to be.
Tonight I made a wonderful salad with lots of chopped vegetables and chicken. Chef Francois upgraded the chicken to chicken nuggets, just like Chick-fil-a makes. It was delicious. I already ordered dessert. Viktor should be here momentarily with our desserts and coffees and teas, coffee for me tonight. Zzyyggy, I was looking at Betty’s 27 must make ice cream desserts in the same email with the lushes. Hmm, that sounds strange. (Oh, we’re talking about Betty Crocker’s emails.) I wouldn’t mind an ice cream bar that’s layered with a brownie crust, then coffee ice cream, topped with vanilla ice cream swirled with fudge sauce and sprinkled with chocolate covered espresso beans. That should give me sweet dreams tonight.

Hi everyone, I've had an interesting day. I had PT and then walked to the nearby Hannaford's grocery store (a 10 Minute walk.) Picked up a few things, and decided I wasn't going to the museum because of the clouds and potential for rain. SSTA was able to bring me home instead. Got to my apartment and couldn't find my cell phone. Called SSTA and they said they would alert the driver. Then called my sister. My building has a phone in the lobby anyone can use. I gave SSTA our building manager's number. Went back up to my apartment after my sister offered to call the phone. Went back down to meet her so we could go out to Hannaford's to look there. Went back down, and the SSTA driver had found the found after my sister had called it, and brought it into the desk. Boy was I relieved. Called my sister again, and got her before she had left the house. Phew I'm tired. For dinner tonight I would love the fried scallops, coleslaw, coca cola, lots of dinner rolls and butter, and tarter sauce. For dessert I'm going to have some brownies and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace, and wait for the bonfire.

😳 I would find that exhausting, too. Thank goodness you have your phone back. It’s wonderful the SSTA driver and your sister were so kind and supportive. Where we used to live we had a local Italian restaurant that served the best zuppa di pesce. Their’s was more fish stew than fish soup with mussels, scallops, shrimp, clams, and calamari served in a tomato broth with spaghetti. It was delicious. I ordered that tonight. Chef Francois even made garlic bread. We are so spoiled here at the cybercafe.

Hi Linda, that sounds good. It's been raining here all day. Cold and damp as well. For dinner tonight I would love a big bowl of beef stew with lots of bread and butter, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of blue berry pie and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace in the nice warm sunshine. AaaaAAAh.

Hi, Zzyyggy. We had a real nice day here. It was very windy though. Our grandson was working on a Habitat House on the west side of Charlotte today. I hope it wasn’t too windy. High school kids in North Carolina have to participate in community service projects in order to graduate. Hopefully, he can get all the hours in he needs before school starts at the end of July.
The beef stew Chef Francois made tonight was delicious. I ordered a couple of lemon squares with iced tea for dessert. I haven’t had those in forever. Sweetie took a nap this afternoon and I went in to wake him up around dinner time and fell asleep for three hours instead. Now I have to decide whether to go back to bed or eat dinner.

Hi Linda, high school kids here in Vermont have to as well. I think it's a good idea. We had cloudy, grey skies all day today, and the wind has really picked up this evening. I got in a walk earlier, and stopped at City Market for some groceries. For dinner tonight I would love the Sunday prime rib dinner with baked potato, salad, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have a slice of apple pie with vanilla ice cream, and an iced mocha. I'll eat out on the terrace where there is plenty of warm sunshine, and ocean views.

Hi Zzyyggy. Even though it’s 11:00 I decided to have dessert. Viktor said he’d be right back with coffee and a slice of apple pie topped with vanilla ice cream for me. It sounded too good to pass up. There’s no fire in the dining room alcove tonight, but the windows are open and I can feel the warm breeze.
We had a quiet day at home today. It was a nice day. I was looking ahead at the weather forecast, there’s lots of hotter weather coming. I’ve got five more months before the temperature cools down.

Hi Linda, we had sunshine and warm temps today. I went to the museum first today, and then swimming. Right now I'm beat waiting for dinner to cook. Just fed the cat. For dinner tonight I would love the bucket of KFC original recipe with mashed potatoes, gravy, corn on the cob, and lots of those biscuits with butter, and a coca cola. For dessert I'll have some Klondike bars with an iced mocha. Did I mention I was starving. I'll eat out on the terrace tonight. Later we'll have a bonfire with S'mores,

Hi Zzyyggy. It was a quiet day and I made a salad for dinner. I’m ready for s’mores. I think I’ll put my s’mores on top of a Heath Klondike Bar for a s’mores sundae. I’m sure there’s whipped cream in the fridge in the gazebo kitchen out here. Mm, I can put some whipped cream in my coffee, too.

Hi Linda, went for a walk in the morning before the humidity kicked in, and glad I did. It's very humid out there now, and we're getting smoke from the Canadian wildfires so we have a hazy sky. For dinner tonight I'm going to have the barbecued chicken with potato salad, corn on the cob, and lots of butter, and dinner rolls. I'll have a root beer this time around. A cold frosty mug. I'll eat out on the terrace. We'll have another bonfire with s'mores. That never gets old.

Hi Zzyyggy. Ugh, I don’t like the smoke from the wildfires. It makes it difficult to breathe. Today in the Charlotte area it felt more like summer. I had an appointment this morning and it was humid and the temperature was already above 80 degrees. When we went back out later in the afternoon it wasn’t as humid so even though it was hotter it felt more comfortable. I’d better get used to the heat because soon temperatures in the 80’s are going to feel downright cool.
I like the idea of making a sundae with my s’mores. Viktor says he stocked the ice cream freezer full and, yes, there’s some Truly Chocolate ice cream. It’s my favorite all natural ice cream from Harris Teeter. I can’t wait to have a Truly Chocolate s’mores sundae! I’m fairly certain there’ll be some chocolate covered espresso beans to sprinkle on top, although mini M&M’s would be good, too. Maybe both? If the candy companies have to start using natural food dyes will M&M’s look different? I wonder if my sister will be able to eat the blue ones made with natural food dyes—she’s allergic to blue. Ha, and I thought my allergies were a pain.
