@MissMay - Happy early birthday! The Lyre's non-alcoholic spirits look like a fun option. I imagine that you can get quite creative!

This evening I'm drinking Heineken 00. Trying to get at least 1 night AF at the camp ... even though it is steak night :)

I am continuing with my usual goals, 16-20 AF days per month.
I had 18 last month, I have had as much as 23 a few times.
Being here with y'all gives me the accountability that I need and want.
I was a daily drinker at one time, and gradually moved it to my current goal which I have been able to uphold for quite some time.
I have no intention of becoming an abstainer. I enjoy my drinks, just less often, kind of like I have done with certain fattening foods.
I do plan my drinks days for the most part, but usually it is my schedule that dictates that. Trying not to have drinks when I work the following day.
Diary style is how I like to keep track here.

Sunday September 05 - AF - Planned drinks day, but skipped it. Next planned drinks day is Friday. I do plan on having drinks around my birthday on the 20th, where ever I end up going (I will have 3 days off)
Monday September 06 - AF - Had to do the 6 minute wait a couple of times, but stayed AF.
Tuesday September 07 - AF - Super long day, felt like having a couple of drinks, but I have a long day again tomorrow, so won't.
Wednesday September 08 - AF - Another long day, today, I was almost too tired to eat, much less make a cocktail.
Thursday September 09 - AF - Busy and long work day, felt like having a couple of drinks, but tomorrow is my planned drinks day, so I didn't.
Friday September 10 - Drinks. It was sunny in the morning before I went to work, but overcast when I was unwinding in the evening, so I changed my drink choices, no Mojitos, those are a sunny day drink. I don't yet know if I am working tomorrow or not, so there is the possibility of drinks this afternoon.
    Saturday September 11 - 2 drinks.

Rolling Total - 7AF days out of 11 days.

Wow so much going on! @MissMay you have made me want to go looking for Lyre's, I think they have it at our local Total Wine and More. I will have to go look on my day off.

Working the fair is eye opening, and mentally taxing at time. Who knew? Selling admission tickets is really a no brainier job, however....people patience is. LOL don't get me wrong it is fun.
I am aware that when I get home in the evening I am allowing myself one shot of alcohol. But that is all, the drink does not get to take a drink.

I am going to try and capture a good picture of the feel you get when you attend the fair and post it for you. It has something for everyone. From the 4-H animals (btw mama pig had her piglets two days ago---a tradition there to have a sow give birth for all to see). To farm displays of goods raised. To every ride you can think of, games, concerts (Carrie Underwood was here on Saturday) and of course the vendors selling food and wares.

I asked the man who keeps count of attendance what was the Saturday count since it was really busy....oh over 65,000 people came through the turnstiles. Anyway I will check back in when I can. You all inspire me!

@globalhiker, @dawnbgethealthy Mt Hunger (https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/vermont/mount-hunger-and-whiterock-mountain-loop) and Lake Champlain (https://goo.gl/maps/6putMdtPvNFQCDjA9) in Vermont.

    @Womona thanks :blush:

@lmlmrn Do they induce her? Getting her to give birth during the day, during the fair seems like it would be difficult otherwise.

Got up early and got another short run in. Really didn't have much in the tank but still glad I did it. Also, left my kayak strapped up yesterday so that I could go after work today. Probably won't manage more than an hour or so before dark, but should be lovely watching the sunset from the water. I suspect that tomorrow will be a rest day. Alcohol continues to not really be a temptation. The ~6lb weightloss over the last 4 weeks helps and so does not having my best friends around as sad as that is.
