I started the day frustrated and angry. Since then I have chatted with friends and our son. Frustration is still present, along with a level of anger. Talking with our son helped. I expect to see our daughter in person sometime today.
On a happy note, a neighbor here is moving across the country. She gave me a beautiful and large ceramic vase. It includes lovely artificial flowers.

Pip--Like the color of the new car. New furbabies are cute. They are lucky to have gotten such a good home. Looks like they are getting settled in.
Kim--What a difference. Thank you for donating your hair. It will help someone I am sure.
Katla--Sending hugs and prayers.
Well it is Friday and I have so much I want to get done this weekend. It is still cool and rain off and on, so will be good to stay inside tomorrow and work on projects.
Yesterday afternoon we got word that we do have to wear masks, unless doing direct patient care. Today I just feel strange without one and different being able to see people faces. We wore them at work for 2 and half years. I am very happy with having them off. Work is the only place I have worn one in a long time.

Morning ladies from a dull and wet UK - seems to have been raining forever! Not sure I will get the grass cut before winter sets in.
I've been thinking about Christmas, my friends have decided to forego the bran tub/secret santa this year and have a meal out together instead. This is fine with me, one less present to think about. A lot of people over here are worried about the cost of everything, I feel so sorry for the ones with young children, according to the newspapers (if you can believe them) there will be a lot of children without gifts this year.
My decluttering journey has stalled. The kitchen is the only room where everything has a place. I can't seem to get the rest of the house as organised. I've been watching a lot of decluttering videos with Dawn (Minimal Mom), Cas from Clutterbug and Dana (A slob comes clean). I need to do less watching and more doing I'm getting there slowly, I rearranged my bedroom yesterday, but not sure I like it, I'll leave it a few days to see if I can live with it.
Still catching up so hope everyone is doing okay, sorry I forgot to take notes.
Take care and love to all
Viv UK
Organizing is a unique journey for each, that's for sure! When I was struggling, I came across a phrase, that each room provides a purpose. So if you do arts & crafts while you watch tv, well then find a container where you can put by you. No sense putting it in a bedroom if you never do it in there. Same as the bedroom, it shouldn't be a storage area, it should just have the necessities. Our bedroom looks like the day we moved in. Dresser, bed, chair, two nightstands. Its blank walled because I have never figured out what I wanted to put there. Its ok, its just for sleeping. I would suggest writing down each rooms purpose. Then just slowly weed out items that don't make sense to you in the room.👍🏻💖

Good morning ladies. Photo proves nails! I actually bought some clear polish and painted them! I hadn't don't that task since 2014/15. They are hard nails, but are a wee bit wavy, and ridgy. I used to be quite the nail and cuticle picker. I declare myself cured! Now I just have to get used to them as I ho about my day. Of course I didn't grow these puppies overnight, so maybe I have gotten used to them in the long run.

Doctor visits exhaust me these days, but I liked her a lot. The lady doc I saw today is the head of all doctors in the VA of the Ozarks, which covers an awful lot territory. That she's stepping in down here shows what kind of shape they're in, personnel-wise. Am hoping they can get my old primary care doc back. It would mostly be by telemed, but they have the technology, and he was/is truly awesome.
Anyway, the good news is, they're also bringing alternative medicos to the clinic starting in about 60 days, including an acupuncturist and a chiropractor. Should be interesting... However, unless they're prior military, I don't think most doctors understand how the VA actually works - definitely nothing like civilian practices. In three months, they hope to have a physical therapist available as well.
Nothing new other than that - every current test looks in good shape except the iron, and I'm headed north to get that infusion next week, then again two weeks later. Fingers crossed it helps the anemia--tired of being tired.
Later, my chickens,

Worked today. Then soup kitchen. Went to get a prescription for Loki and then to Sam’s to find out that we can’t make a payment on the credit card at that Sam’s then WalMart since Vince needed to get a few things.
Beth – thinking of you and your mom getting to the assisted living place.
Heather – glad to hear you got your new washing machine!
Allie – I always said that kids are made of steel with a rubber coating!
Kim – great haircut! That is so good of you to donate your hair. I know Jess did that a few times
Rebecca – lovely nails! I used to have nice nails, but it seems that since I started at BK and my hands are always in water, my nails break more often
Lisa – does he have any brothers? Cousins? Around 40 years old would be nice. I have a daughter who is doing her residency in vet….hint, hint….lol
Welcome Lucy and Cheespas
Well, I think I should start decorating the small tree in the kitchen before Vince gets too upset that it isn’t done.

Memory came up from 2012 on Facebook we got a nasty snowstorm on the 29th of October of that year which took out a tree in our back yard..so in the memory it said i picked up 17 bags of sand 5 gallons of gas for the generator, raked the leaves out of the drains in front of the house, bought milk and brought the bird feeders in before the storm ...and this was all before 3:30 when Tom got home.. yup he doesn't get that treatment anymore.and he is a heck of alot older.. and those sandbags were tubes of sand and heavy and they had to go around the basement hatchway..
Think he is kicking himself now he doesn't have someone who does that all now lol
She makes the money where I didn't so I guess there is that..
Well Alfie and I are chillin and watchin TV and tomorrow a little at a time im hoeing out...4
