Well here it is 2:30 a.m . And woke up in pain and had to take tylenol ..cant wait to see the dr.
Kim- Bless you, thank goodness there is light at the end of the tunnel.my poir FIL was living with his son and DIL and I turned them into the state because of the way they were treating him..that got things moving.. they never knew who did that.
I also contacted Connecticut community care for the elderly and they were a Godsend.
Tom knows I went above and beyond for his family.
Well going to see if the tylenol kicks in and i can get a few more hours sleep.

    About white ...

What reminded me of it was that this week I saw a woman walk past wearing pure white pants and a tan jacket. She looked good - wore it well. It was the first time I had seen someone wearing white pants in a long time. And, unlike some I've seen in the past, she didn't appear to be wearing dark underwear or underwear with bright red hearts.

But what I was really impressed about was that she was walking along confidently and that there didn't appear to be a stain or smudge or indication that she had spilled coffee or makeup on those pristine white pants!! I didn't look very closely, of course, but if I had been wearing white pants, it would have been easy to tell that white and I definitely don't get along.

I love to see people in white that are stain/smudge free. I would love to be that person. But I am a walking disaster. Just call me Out Lady Of Perpetual Sloppiness. I would do well wearing a wild print in reds, browns, and golds. That would cover alot of mishaps. KJ

Machka - I also do not wear white. I have never worn any white clothing that did not end up stained before I arrived back home. My mother wore white a lot, and it suited her. I did not get that gene, apparently! Even light colored clothes are at risk, so I wear them at home, but am usually dressed in dark clothing when I leave the house.

    Love y'all,

I can go through life quite normally without spilling coffee or splashing food or having a pen incident, or encountering mud etc. if I wear a darker/bolder colour or a pattern. But put on white and 5 minutes later I look like Pigpen from Peanuts!

If I wear light colours, I'll usually bring a lightweight cardigan or something ... just in case. If worse comes to worse, I can put the cardigan over top.

My mother wore and still wears white too without mishaps. I don't know how she does it. She used to try to dress me in white but soon gave that up.

It's Friday night, the end of a long, busy weird week.

It was one of my 5-day weeks (long week), and my new job is busy - lots to do! That's not a bad thing.

Then Tuesday, I was not feeling brilliant and by late afternoon, the migraine set in and I had a horrible evening. The whole day Wednesday, I felt like my head didn't belong to me - that migraine hangover thing. I was confused what day it was and kept thinking it was Tuesday. I felt like I lost a day somewhere.

Wednesday night we had our beekeeping Zoom which was interesting ... just wish my head was a bit more into it.

Thursday evening, we were out for a couple hours which is something we rarely do: to see a headache specialist (co-incidence that I developed a migraine this week!), to have dinner, and to visit Bunnings (hardware). It's dark so early now and even though we got home about 8:30 pm, it felt like it was about 10:30 pm. I changed into my pjs as soon as I got home.

Today, I took it a bit easier at work and caught up on a few things, including making some headway on the course I'm taking.

Relaxing now and watching the Giro d'Italia.

It's also been the coldest week we've had in months ... getting closer to winter.

Tracey, the greenhouse is Prairie Gardens which is out by Bon Accord. They have a website you can check out. When I was there, I overheard a lady asking about their petting zoo which I'm sure would be of interest to your granddaughter.

Joy - thank you. That’s about an hour from me so wouldn’t be too bad for a drive.
