Barbie thanks. You are our wise leader!

Lee Ann, I learned early in my weight loss journey that the best food plan is the one you'll stick to and the best exercise plan is the one you'll stick to. It sounds like you are well on your way to finding those for yourself.
Rosemary, We sold our RV on consignment in 2009 with the help of a trusted business. We didn't think about insurance but we probably should have. It sounds like you're getting some good ideas of ways to find a buyer.
Tracey, This is a tough time for you. Just keep putting one foot in front of the other and trust that all will be well. I found meditation and walking while listening to uplifting podcasts to be good stress reducers. Just keep trying until you find one that works.
Lanette, I guess it's good news that there's nothing wrong with your knee but frustrating that it will take time and patience.
Barbara, Glad to see you again

Hi, a couple quick pics while I am in range of data.
The first one is the Stave Church. Beautifully painted inside.
The second is the weirdest bridge called the Ski Jump. You can't see the other side at all!
The third is a poster of the Atlantic Road we were on, joining all the little islands.
The fourth is the boat I am on right now doing a round trip of the islands. It's free!
So, a nice first day ashore. Great weather.

Did 40 min on the stairstepper then went for the root canal. The doc said that I may experience some pain for a few days, and I’m experiencing some now. Not a whole lot. The nurse told me to take Tylenol for the pain then said “knowing you, you probably won’t need it”. Have the milk getting ready for yogurt
Anne – they’re not going to do anything with the spinal stenosis since it’s not hurting him. When I have a craving for ice cream, a pop usually works for me. I make them by taking 32oz container of plan greek yogurt, a 12 oz container of OJ concentrate, thaw it but don’t reconstitute it. Mix the two together. Freeze in a pop mold. I believe it comes out to something like 90 calories a pop, which is less than ice cream
LeeAnn – congrats on the wedding. Interesting day to have it. So that he can take the tax break, maybe?
Tracey – never heard of a prosthetic disk. We don’t have to pay a deposit for ceramics. Do you? They just like to have you register so that if there’s a change in the schedule (they have to cancel) they know who to inform. When I went to register today for next Tuesday at 8 in the morning there were 3 of the 12 spots available. I suspect it’s going to be crowded next Tuesday. Usually when I make a recipe for the first time I follow the recipe. Then I modify it to what I like.
Heather – neat pictures. We’re getting to live your cruise, thanks

Heather--Thanks for sharing the pictures. The bridges over the islands looks interesting.
Well interview this morning was a burst. She just something for insurance until the business her and husband has started takes off and they can afford insurance on their own. She told me she would more than likely not even be here a year. I said with all the training I could not hire her. So see what HR sends me next.

LanetteWhat kind of shoes do you wear. When I had PT for my knee. My therapist noticed my shoes were more than likely part of the problem. NO arch support.2

Rebecca-nice treasures! I love gnomes-they are moving with me!
Lisa-Corey is a very handy guy!
Machka-hope you recover from fall quickly.
Barbie-good news!
Busy day at work today. One interview and two meetings-all went very well. We are offering one lady a job. contract negotiation went well, and progress meeting at building progress good. Still delayed due to explosion but we are seeing great progress in the second building. We think all may be done Dec/Jan-will have a better schedule soon. Have to replace a roof and rebuild one load bearing wall. While it takes time it is the way to do it. Should have revised schedule in a week or so and I see doctor at end of July so getting my plan in focus.
Off to ladies craft group. I will miss them when I move, but I can drive back over for it when I feel up to it.
Take care all,
Ginny in Ohio
I have 10 gnomes so I guess I'm a collector now.🙃

LisaInArkansas wrote: »On the subject of canning, Corey tends toward the water bath canning and hot packing, not the pressure canning. It limits what he is able to can, but those tend to be the ones he prefers anyway, so it works out fine. Others we eat as they are harvested or he freezes. He was born and raised in southern Alaska, the 9th of 12 children, and this just seems to be in his DNA.
I'm 9th of 10 kids, and watched my mother do the canning, but I took my DNA out back and gave it a good talking to, and to keep its mouth shut. When he met me, I was happily eating store-bought bean and cheese burritos or chicken corn dogs pretty much as a steady diet.
So... he took me home and fed me cabbage hamburger soup for our first date. I don't eat soup, at the time I didn't eat beef, and I purely hate the taste of vegetables. I ate the soup anyway. And he married me anyway, even after I confessed later. I think he saw me as your little turkey, Debbie - he took me in as a stray.
It's all on my mind because today's his birthday. I already made him his brownies with cream cheese frosting, as requested, which he ate and said the frosting tasted weird, but froze the rest of it anyway. (See? I just have bad DNA.) Next week is also our 14th anniversary. I'm not sure I deserve him, but I'm sure glad he took me in.
Later y'all,
With love,
Lisa
See I was patiently waiting for you to type "water bath was all he can-can!.😁. What a vision.🤗💖

Lisa: Corey the Canner. Sounds like you both enjoyed his days off.
Machka: Ouch! I hope you haven’t done any permanent damage.
Barbie: Great news about Jake.
Pip: Hope they can figure out what ails Kirby.
Early morning grocery shopping today. It’s been raining quite heavily on and off, but I managed to get a load of laundry out and dried. There were thunderstorms all round us, but they missed us.
The charity that I volunteer for has its AGM tomorrow afternoon. About half of the committee are stepping down, so DH and another pst chair are giving them a hand with the organisation of the meeting. He served as chair 5 years ago, and is still involved in welcoming new members into the organisation. Our current Chair fell very ill in Scotland several weeks ago. It was touch and go for a while, and although he has rallied a little, he is in a hospice near his daughter over there, so isn’t able to officiate at the AGM.
🤗 🤗 🤗 and 🙏 🙏 🙏 for those who want and/or need them.

I have yet to eat from them, but buying strawberries, scone making mix, and whipping cream. I will make that my first meal on them. She would've approved.💖🤗

sorry the interview didn't go well. At least she was up front with you about her not staying long. Better that than spending all that time training her and having her give a two week notice.
Hopefully you will find a couple really good ones soon.1 -
Well it's a gloomy rainy day here. I got bored and wanted to eat early, but I had a cup of tea instead. Only 21 calories for the honey.
I should be horseback riding in a few hours. It's inside a huge warehouse like building with a special dirt floor. We cancel for thunderstorms because nervous horses misbehave, but a light shower won't stop us.
There are some banking errands I can do meanwhile. I should be a good girl and do my chores.

Allie - I know it doesn't sound like fun, but I'm really glad they're doing more tests, and not just letting you sit on the transplant list forever with no word from them at all.
Did a little power napping myself after a relatively stressful morning. Both appointments were just with technicians. Will be called by a nurse regarding the assessment of the dermatology images, and the EKG was ordered by the gastroenterologist as a routine thing prior to the colonoscopy in mid-July.
Slept through lunch! I need to get a little food in me...
Later,
Love,
Lisa

Ok new ACV with cayenne pepper! Gosh its good to mix with Fresca. I add a good plug of it to a pint glass then fill up with a cold can of Fresca.
Today getting a short haircut. I will take photos when I get home. Actually getting a good shampoo, and cut at a proper salon. Not that Super Cuts isn't vs proper salon, its just nice to get my hair washed, which my Super Cuts doesn't do. $65 +tip out the window though.
Bought foods for me at commissary mostly. Time to get back to eating once a day like I like. Bought a roast chicken, plus pasta, mushroom ravioli.
Our next worry is where son gets stationed to next. If he gets overseas either Japan or Spain, then he will get an overseas allotment, and we can stay here. But if he gets stateside then he can't afford an off base place, plus help pay for the rental here. So we would have to move, putting his items in storage. Plus our rent is increasing to $2300. If he's stateside, we can't pay that much ourselves. Hopefully he'll get the word on where he goes, by September when the rent officially goes up. Or we are moving in September. Fun city.
I am not stressing about it. Its all out of my control.👍🏼
