I agree Carol. It is such a privilege to live in the Pacific northwest. There is so much diversity of beauty.

We're back home. It was a quick but wonderful weekend. We even stopped by my favorite vodka distillery, had a couple small samples, and bought some vodka -- ginger infused and hazelnut espresso infused. So delicious!

Annie -- I'm sorry for the death of your aunt. I hope you can work out the logistics to everyone's benefit.

Sue -- Driving to Sea-Tac is no small feat. I really hate driving in the Seattle/Tacoma area. My mother hated it so much, that she would fly in and out of Portland, preferring to drive down from the Peninsula to Portland, rather than crossing the narrows bridge to Sea-Tac.

Love to all, and thanks to Barbie for keeping us going each month.

Not enough time tonight to walk off the cranberry scone, chocolate chip cookie and mini lemon crumb cupcake indulged in at fellowship today. Blearg.

    1. Decide to look for what’s good every day this month.
I have been enjoying coding during the first 2 days of the month. That's been really good.
Also the 25 flights of stairs a day.
    2. Say positive things in your conversations with others.
Chatted with a work friend about our gardens first thing this morning.
Smiled and thanked people as usual.
BTW - thanking the bus driver at the end of a trip is a thing here. :)

Where do I even start? A single worry?
There are so many worries rumbling away in the background but I try not to think about them or dwell on them.
I try to focus on the good days or even good moments.

    Love all the photos!

Still trying to learn how to pace myself. DrewB having problems with her back legs. It is either patella lux or related to her anemia condition. Seeing the Vet in about a week. Hopefully he has some ideas. I will be watching a summit on pain management for dogs this week. I might have some more ideas to help her with her pain.

Kylia ~ You and your granddaughter are two cuties who look so much alike! :) Best of luck and prayers for your niece's heart procedure to be done.

Debbie ~ I have thought so much about Destiny. I pray that her platelets continue to improve. Also, the sweets you made for the church auction are wonderful and show a huge amount of work on your part.

Rosemarie ~ Hope your trip to Mass. was an enjoyable one.

Quiet weekend here! Have enjoyed looking at all the photos and so glad to see them.

    Tracey

Me too. I've got music going most of the time at work and at home. Except for a short time in the evening when we watch TV.

On weekends lately, I have been playing my husband's favourites from the 70s & 80s ... and some of mine too.

It has been kind of a reminiscence therapy with music. Look it up ... that is a thing.

And my husband seems happier and more relaxed when we listen to those older songs.

Plus I get to amaze him because I sing along and know most of the lyrics. 😀

    M in Oz

I am a country fan but listen to a lot of different music.
I have a lot of old stuff my Dad played when I was growing up. 70’s and 80’s rock and country, and some current stuff.
I believe there is something to reminiscing, because it takes you back to a happier time and place in your mind.
