    I like people who are good just because they are and not because they expect a reward.

    It occurred to me that this idea has religious implications but I was thinking of "nice guys" who are nice to their partners or hoped for partners in the expectation of sexual favors, rather than simply being nice because of true regard and because their partners deserve good treatment.
