118.71/130 miles completed for December

It was perfect running weather this morning. It was about 47°F when I started out and 60°F at the end. I was a little chilly starting out in shorts and a t-shirt, but just about perfect for most of the run. I ran 10.5 miles to close out December with 118.71 miles. I thought about going the extra half mile to make it 11, but I was tired and ready to be done, so I decided 10.5 was good enough. I didn't reach my goal this month, but I think I did alright all things considered. I certainly didn't plan to have covid and miss a week of running. I finished December with 118.71 miles and finished 2023 with 1660.56 miles. That is my highest mileage year.

My sister invited us over for New Year's Eve, so we are going to head over there. I'm not sure if we will make it to midnight though. 😄
