I am game!
My big goal is 25lbs, but my starter is 6-10lbs by end of July (heading to VA Beach) & want to get some hikes / exploring in.
My challenges are that I work WAY TOO MUCH. I leave the house at 7am and get home anywhere between 3p and 7p, depends on the needs of the office. Since my day is never set in stone, it throws me off and I lose motivation after a stressful day.
Having someone or many, to keep me accountable will help. (My kids age 16&21 are never home & my SO has a schedule like mine (home between 7p & 9p) so most of the time, I'm alone and lack motivation to "work out" but manage to get household stuff done instead.8 -
I am here for the end of Spring, beginning of Summer months! I want to look and feel my best and live my healthiest life.
I have enjoyed these challenges as they are helping me stay accountable. I wish everyone good luck and good health!8 -
I'm here for it! Trying to lose the last 10lbs before my wedding in October!11

I feel this is a reasonable goal for me. I am 60 not 30, and I don't need to be 130 lbs again. I want to feel good about myself and be healthy, not necessarily a certain size. I am eating a hearty healthy diet of fish, lots of fruit and vegetables. No processed food, no alcohol. I am trying to avoid inflammation and a host of other health issues. On days I don't babysit (where I get like 12K steps) I will take long walks. I know I need to add weight lifting of some sort, which I don't really like, but is important for bone strength.
Good luck to all! Thank you, @RubyRed427 for leading us forward!

I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
My husband and I are retired, however...we watch our Grandsons during the week. Collin is 18 months and is our Morning Duty. Ronan is in 2nd Grade and is our Afternoon Duty.
I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out. The boys can be exhausting...

Haha this made me chuckle...the disadvantage of losing weight at a more mature age! I get ya! I'm 55 and the more fat I lose, the more saggy I get lol
It's all about feeling good and living a long life! Check out HAS Fitness on YouTube...they have strength training for everyone at all levels!!! That's my goal...tone up and strengthen the bones!!! You got this!6 -
I'm so happy to be back participating! I find I go back and forth with MFP and WW but after reading Atomic Habits, it's basically WW and I find MFP easier and lets be honest...cheaper lol.
I weigh in on Tuesdays and my goal is 15lbs but honestly would be happy with 10lbs!

Actually I am happy about this because I went up in the past week then managed to get back to where I started. Too much eating out and not a lot of portion control. I just want to get to 151 AND STAY THERE until the end of the month. Then, try to get a couple more off. It sounds like such a little amount but it is so hard. Ugh! I am at least proud of myself for staying off alcohol. That is a huge waste of calories not to mention the mindless snacking that goes with it, for me anyway. I am trying to eat healthy though I'll need to control myself at the Mothers Day buffet this weekend.
Good luck to all, achieving your goals!8 -

I'm back
Sherri from Salmon Arm, BC. 61 years old and 5" 2".
This has been a challenging few months for me. Dealing with health and family issues and going back to work. I think life has finally gotten back to normal & I will be able to weigh-in weekly & keep up with everyone's progress.
I need to track my food and find a exercise program I can do at home. Preferably not to intense as I have osteoarthritis in my knees and lower back.
If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear from you.
Weigh on will be Tuesdays. First weigh in will be this Tuesday.
