    06/11-DNW-(Trend Weight: DNW)- I had so many different out-of-town appointments and/or engagements over this past week that it seemed useless to even try weighing when I know the bloat is temporary and any gain will be lost again in short order. I need to get back on the exercise train too. All these obligations are beginning to really cramp my style. Have a great week everyone!

    06/18-186.4-(Trend Weight: 184.9)- I weighed in at a whopping 187 yesterday after a day of travel, another day of food fest graduation open house, another day of sitting all day driving out-of-town then sitting in the movie theater with grandson (Disney Pixar Inside Out 2), then a Father’s Day BBQ. It’s been a food filled week. I dropped 0.6 since yesterday and am committed to shedding this excess. It sure goes on faster than it comes off! Today I will be sitting for 3 hours at the hairdresser, then coming home and trying to avoid the heat. I won’t get in much movement but I will stick to my plan. I sure wish I had A/C when the weather hits in the 90’s like this. Yesterday was miserable and filled with cold wet towels. The Salon should have A/C so that’s a plus!

    I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
    ...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
    My husband and I are retired, however...we watch our Grandsons during the week. Collin is 18 months and is our Morning Duty. Ronan is in 2nd Grade and is our Afternoon Duty.
    I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out. The boys can be exhausting...

    My final goal weight is 145.

    Since I'll be away for the next few days I decided to weigh in early this week. It's been 2.5 years since I began this journey and finally dropped below 150 lbs. Another 5 lbs to go before I reach my final goal.

    This revised workout schedule seems to be working out pretty well for me, 2 days on, 1 day off for recovery. I still try to keep my net daily calories for the week at around 1200 average per day, but that means I'm eating about 500-1,000 calories less per week. I actually feel less hungry than I did when I was eating more and working out every day.
