Happy Tuesday Folks!! Today is my weigh in day!
HW 176.2
April 30 153.6
May 7 153.6
The good news about this weigh in is I have been consistent with my food and exercise. I won’t let it get me down! I know there will be a loss next week!!! ✌️7 -
05/01 154.4
05/07 154.2
Actually I am happy about this because I went up in the past week then managed to get back to where I started. Too much eating out and not a lot of portion control. I just want to get to 151 AND STAY THERE until the end of the month. Then, try to get a couple more off. It sounds like such a little amount but it is so hard. Ugh! I am at least proud of myself for staying off alcohol. That is a huge waste of calories not to mention the mindless snacking that goes with it, for me anyway. I am trying to eat healthy though I'll need to control myself at the Mothers Day buffet this weekend.
Good luck to all, achieving your goals!8 -

Thank you, @RubyRed427 !
I'm Chris - 74 year old female...5'5" ...I used to be 5'7" but arthritis hit and I lost two inches, so now that two inches is squished around my waist like the billows of a big accordion...
...Oh, well. I'll just keep working on it.
My husband and I are retired, however...we watch our Grandsons during the week. Collin is 18 months and is our Morning Duty. Ronan is in 2nd Grade and is our Afternoon Duty.
I see my trainer for 60 mins three days a week and try to walk the other four days. The walking doesn't always work out. The boys can be exhausting...
Heaviest: 192.2
Round GW: 148.0
UGW: 145.0
05/01 - 151.5 at 5:30 a.m. ...Grandson Duty then 60 min workout w/trainer

I'm back
Sherri from Salmon Arm, BC. 61 years old and 5" 2".
This has been a challenging few months for me. Dealing with health and family issues and going back to work. I think life has finally gotten back to normal & I will be able to weigh-in weekly & keep up with everyone's progress.
I need to track my food and find a exercise program I can do at home. Preferably not to intense as I have osteoarthritis in my knees and lower back.
If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear from you.
Weigh on will be Tuesdays. First weigh in will be this Tuesday.

2024
5/1 197.2
5/12 199
I did meet my goals of logging 5 out of 7 days this week.
I also worked out yesterday- elliptical, bike and weights.
The small gain is probably from husband's birthday celebrations recently and my son's birthday party as well.
I am not worried. I'll get back on track.
Happy Mother's Day!
This week's goal:
Fruit every day
Up the protein
Yoga 2 times this week

Well this is not good. The Mother's Day buffet was irresistible, followed by mindless snacking on Monday. Yes, that will do it. Fortunately I can get back on track today. There are no more holidays or celebrations in my near future.
One food I have recently been cooking is quinoa. By itself it is pretty basic tasting, but I have been finding recipes on line that really jazz it up. This one is excellent. I also added ground chicken breast for more protein. https://www.wellplated.com/mexican-quinoa/8 -

This is the heaviest I have weighed in years. I really need to get back on track. I have an Alaska cruise booked in September with my best friend & sisters. Would really like to be down at least 20lbs by then.
