OKIE ~ You look beautiful in your wedding gown and what lovely flowers.
Rita ~ So sorry about Brownie. Hope your mom gets better. How old is she?
Missing Rosemarie! Don't know when she last checked in.
Carol in GA
Mom is 88. Turned out the black stools were from iron supplements she was on. She also had a gas bubble in her urinary tract caused by an untreated UTI. The kept her overnight and on antibiotics. Not sure how long she will be in the hospital. Brownie started acting more normal yesterday afternoon and seems better today, but the telltale cough is getting worse.
Thank you for your concern.

Eldest sailor comes soon and I am so excited to see him! Its been 5 months or so since he was last home. I am fixing all his favorite foods. Sadly the poor kid eats more then his share of fast food, so his digestive track gets quite a workout with home cooked meals. I will try to pace them! He wants me to fix rice rice, so I will be fixing a huge batch of that. Lee loves buying the Chinese barbecued pork and he has a portion for his lunch, sniffing and crying from eating it with the really hot mustard, then cuts the rest up and I mix it with the rice, bacon, egg and Japanese tonkatsu sauce. Of course we have to take our pilgrimage to the ramen restaurant down in Langley💖. He has requested Lee's pinto bean soup with hamhocks. (that will really clean the kid out)! I might even make fluffy tapioca pudding. Lee hasn't had that in years due to its really high sugar. I have been talking to him about learning to not just buy the bland because there's no sugar, but instead buy the kinds he enjoys and limiting the portions. Like with cereal. He was going bonkers eating his way thru cereals that were cardboard, but he had bought them. He only has cereal a couple times a week so I said just buy the cereal you love, and on those days limit your sugar in other places. I mean its like with diet food. Its easy to get diet brain over the kinds of food that's out there. Then where's the joy? Diet foods kind of zap the joy, our passion for eating gone.
Yesterday I got my toesies done. Did the deluxe option, so she dipped each foot in paraffin wax, then massaged my lower legs. Delightful.💖😁. I used the massage chair to torture my back and neck. I'm a wee bit sore this morning from that! Those ball thingies in the chair are brutal!
Grandsons 1st birthday was a success, I will post photos in a bit.💖.

Afternoon all,
He knows ,but we shall see how he does once the little one comes home..
Got alot of sleep the last few days and did some laundry and will do another load.
Ive sorta been intermittent fasting and im down 20 lbs..yipee5 -
Lanette ~ So sorry about your kitty. When our 15 yr old Siamese was dying, she hid under the bed. She had tried desperately to rub my leg when I got home from work that day and I was too impatient to pay her the love she needed. I have felt so sorry about that.
Your poor husband must have been in tremendous pain and it can be understandable that he was a big grouch. I think that's a man's need to be in total control. Glad you both resolved that and that he finally enjoyed riding with you.
Beth ~ You were a lovely bride and you looked so young.
Heather ~ I just wish my husband would let me hire someone to clean the junk out of our basement. Half the stuff down there needs to just be thrown away. But, I am enjoying trying to get rid of some of my clutter on the main floor. It will take a while.
Allie ~ Does Carmine know about the new sister? I sure hope SMiles will love her and think he will because I'm sure he has been around a lot of babies at his sitters.

Hugs! Wait sorta intermittent fasting? Ok either you are, or you're doing a low calorie diet. As long as you fast for 12/12, or 16/8, or 18/6 or 20/4 which for each of those the first number is how long you fast/ the next number is how long you eating window is, its all good. Read the IF Bible author Gin Stephens "Delay, Don't Deny". Doing a clean fast is key friend.💖👍🏼
Great job doing 20!

Gratitudes:
Today: Ibuprofen allowed a few hours of pain free dreamless sleep.
Yesterday: Joe uncomplainingly drove me to Grants Pass and back for oral surgery, even stopped in Cave Junction for a Heavenly Coffee espresso milkshake so I could take a tramadol
Means I’ve missed 2 days of the declutter challenge but just not feeling up to it. Hopeful for tomorrow.
Ginny and Carol after these implants are paid for I need to check into my hearing. Maybe it will inspire Joe to do the same …
Annie congrats on figuring out the earbuds, I’ve never found any I could tolerate ;{
Lisa please tell me the klutz’s name wasn’t Bruce? Looks very much like my high school boyfriend, but he’s have been twenty eight in 1980… ;}
Tracey the shadow boxes!
Margaret, fishing line, now why didn’t I think of that?
Lanette the kittens playing whack-a-mouse. Thanks for the giggles.
Love everyone’s wedding pics and stories, here’s mine from Oct 3, 1987, we were 37.Mom’s friend did the flowers, another friend from church played the organ, a couple who were present at my (infant) baptism doled out the champagne. It was held in the church whose pastor facilitated my adoption, officiated by the current pastor and the pastor who confirmed me, catered by the current intern. Joe’s best friend stood up for him, as did mine. My virtual baby brother pushed Papa’s wheelchair. Joe’s mother flew out but Joe did not invite his father, they had fallen out for awhile. At the receiving line I was able to think of everyone’s name but one, the current pastor’s wife :}Still have the dress, wine stain and all.
Wedding party
Happy day
God daughter bottom center. She's now 40 and has six kids at home. Not sure who the other two girls are... :{
Michele I think the funeral people slit the clothes up the back to dress the body, so the pounds and redistribution might not matter… ;}
Kay, words fail. (hug)
Kim, what you said.
Mo happy anniversary! BB&B refers to a “Better Bones and Balance” class. Coach really knows how to work us all, no matter at which level our current fitness is. Strengthening using body weight and very few props (steps, dumbbells, dowels, bands and lately [shudder] medicine balls.)
Pip ?who’s THAT?
A little snack and another couple ibuprofen and think I can sleep now.
Later, lighter, lovelies!

Hello, all...
Margaret - Loved the picture of the quilt, thank you for posting that!
Beth - Loved your dress, too. I haven't let my wedding dress go either. Not sentimental about much, but apparently I am about that.
Heather - Pretty little cabinet.
Allie - If what you're doing works for you, keep it up, honey bunch. Well done on the weight loss.
Lanette - Sorry about the kitty.
Rita - Glad to hear your mom's emergency wasn't too bad, and that Brownie's doing a bit better.
Barbie - You always impress me with your ability to achieve equanimity. No fun when it's tested, though.
Newest on the crafting front:While Corey was out working in the yard, I've been busy in a sort of multi-material relearning curve today... Just finished making these. The material is thrifted, soft jersey print. The leaves are clay - I had to remember again how to condition it, build combinations of colors, how long to bake it, how to get texture and so on. The stems are cinnamon sticks, and the curlicues are jute--if you wrap it tightly around a dowel, soak it down with Febreze (to get rid of the rope smell) and put it in an oven for a half hour, the curl stays.
Fun, and easy to build, in the end, another of those things that is much, much easier to do once you've got a couple under your belt. Tomorrow, I might drag out the wood-burning kit and work on the pieces of wood that Corey cut for me last weekend. It will be cool enough in the morning to work outside.
Corey's cooking dinner - Malibu Chicken. Smells wonderful. I'm done crafting for the day, except possibly doing some very placid crochet after dinner.
Later, y'all,
Love,

Lisa: If you don't sell all your pumpkins, I'd like to buy one.
Lanette: Sorry to hear about your Kitty. How are the chickens?
Heather: Wonderful to hear you are getting back to your normal, active self. Nice cabinet.
Annie: Music was the big difference maker in me being able to add more minutes to my workout. I like a fast tempo for cardio (think Pitbull), but often just choose an artist on Amazon Prime music. Yesterday it was Neil Diamond. When I can sing along, the workout goes much better.
Love the wedding dresses and stories! DH and I were really poor. But because we were living in Honolulu we were able to exchange vows in front of 3 good friends at the beautiful Waimea Falls Park on the North Shore of Oahu. I never wanted an actual wedding, but when I look at the photos, I am so glad we used our humble savings for this special day. My dress and his shirt came straight off the racks of JC Penny's. No wonder I didn't care if the hem slipped into the surf. Gave both away a few years ago.
Two weeks from today I'll be meeting up with N for our Maine Adventure. We continue to enjoy the novelty of our relationship. We get together someplace lovely, have an intense amount of fun together, then resume our regular lives on opposite ends of the continent till the next time we can meet up. May not be for everyone, but works for us. I also booked my trip to Phuket for November and I showed the resort link to a friend from work. She is a seasoned traveller who takes a winter beach trip every winter, so she has volunteered to join me for this excursion. We have divergent interests and tastes, but somehow we know it will all work out.
Stay well friends. We can do this.

Have a great day my friends! May you be happy, healthy, safe and free!
Annie in Delaware
Being stiff and tired after a walk just means you need a hot shower, a sleep, and to do it again the next day.
It's not a bad thing to be stiff and tired. It means you've used your muscles. Keep walking every day or every other day, and the stiff and tired will go away.

Yesterday I walked 5.3 km (3.3 miles) and did a little bit of cycling.
Today I walked 5.55 km (3.4 miles) relatively quickly, and then did 2.1 km (1.3 miles) slowly with my husband. Total: 7.65 km (4.75 miles).
I'm a little bit sore today after 7.65 km of walking, but it'll pass.
It feels great to be exercising again!

Jess called late last night. She won’t be here today. A friend of theirs had a stroke and the family is pulling the plug today. She did say something about coming tomorrow to get her registration (she had it mailed here), but I think that’s a lot of driving. From VA to here then home. Well, at her age maybe she could do it. Plus, her and Colby can switch driving. So we shall see.
Vince is FINALLY working on the door that Loki peed on. I put down the fertilizer. If the plant don’t come back to life, guess it wasn’t meant to be
Barbara – if they slit the clothes up the back when you die, maybe I CAN be buried in my wedding dress. That would be cool since I don’t think anyone is interested in it except me
Lanette – ROTF Valium
Made brownies for Vince and Jess if she comes. Now that I can use my oven, gotta make up. Really, I prefer to get things from the Corner Table, I’m less inclined to want to nibble.
Diving with husbands: I just let Vince drive because I always get criticized, so it just isn’t worth it
Lanette – I’m so sorry about your cat. Yes, they know.
Rori – wow!
Just finished my walk around the neighborhood, think I’ll lay down for a bit.

Except for the fact that sitting and talking for hours is something I don't like, today's visit with Jake's son and his girlfriend went exceptionally well. So well that Jake offered to cook breakfast for them tomorrow before they head home. Not a single cross or argumentative word was spoken. Jake treated them to breakfast at a restaurant he likes and they helped get ready for supper later in the day. They headed back to the airbnb at five and will be back about 8:30 tomorrow morning. They were great with the dogs.

Today’s gratitude: ibuprofen, every 4-6 hours ;} with food. Way better than Tramadol.
Heather Thanks for the encouragement. Have not been up to anything today but am hopeful tomorrow I can do 1 or two 5 minute stints.
Lisa Good luck with the market table!
Annie Good on you for finding productive things to do while you monitor Dad. Hope the next forest walk is more pleasant with fewer after affects.
Lanette Valium, brilliant! (hugs) and hopes for kitty’s gentle passing.
Barbie ((hugs)) Hope Jake can see the opportunity for spiritual growth too. ;} Is there a gentle, loving way to ask him to lean back so you can see out his side? Glad the Tramadol helped you. Made me nauseous and trembling for hours. Blech.
Allie con VERY gratulations. 20 lbs is awesome!!!
Michele I’m always happy to have Joe drive, I enjoy seeing things that I’d miss if I were driving. On the rare occasions when I drive him, he lowers the seat back and closes his eyes. . . wonder why?
Got something on my stomach, time for another amoxicillin and more ibuprofen. Need to rest up for church tomorrow, though I may flake out on fellowship.
Later, lighter, lovelies!
