    Tracey- I am looking forward to having the room back but it hasn't been too bad lately- I took mom's bed beings she has been sleeping in her recliner-says she sleeps better in there.
    Have fun scrapbooking. I haven't done any in years. Did really enjoy it when I did- so many cute pictures of son when he was little.

    Had a good day exercise wise. Walked MIL's dog longer than planned. Dh told me as we were pulling up to her house that she had PT coming out in a half hour. They prefer not to have the dog there during pt because he gets in the way, so, walked the long way, got back to the house and he had just gotten there so we walked some more. It was getting pretty warm so we went back and sat on the steps until they were done. Irritated that dh waited to say something until we got there(I may have just stayed home and not gone over if I had known but dog needs to get out and walk)- Walked the wetlands- again- beautiful but the last 15 min of that hour were rough. It was hot, very little breeze, none is some spots, no shade, and I don't take water with me while I walk. I had some in the car-no bathrooms so don't want to have to find a bush.
    Aqua zumba plus laps before and after-
    Just hit 20,000 steps for the day. Haven't done that in quite a while.

    Going to head for bed a bit early- up at 5:30, out the door by 6 to meet mom at the church to help with the food program. Even with the hour and a half drive, I still get an extra hour and a half sleep ;)
    She gets up at 4 to be there extra early to set up her spot(she gives out all the desserts)

    Have a wonderful weekend ladies.
    I will check back in when I get back home on Monday.

    Barbie - I feel your pain. Way too much going on for you during the next several days! At least the weather should be cooler. I don't recall our marriage vows saying anything about having our DH's be driving instructors. Maybe that "obey" part which I disregard, lol. I once offered to pull over on I-5 and let him walk if he felt that would be safer. :p Quiet trip! He was going for a doctor visit and would have driven himself except he was on painkillers for his broken back. I neglected to drug him up with a valium prior to heading out.

    Debbie - have a good time with your mom this weekend! Working at the food bank with her sounds like fun. How's it going with that fella living in her garage?

    Barbara - glad you are back from Grant's Pass and surgery is done. Sounds like Joe found the perfect food to take that Tramadol. ;) Hope the discomfort doesn't last long. I thought I was one of the taller and older first time brides at 25, but you got me beat in the age category.

    Lisa - I know you're having fun making items for the Farmer's Market. I think you have some winners there. ;) Glad to hear you are having a cool morning, nothing like that fresh air clearing out the stuffiness in a house.

    Heather - cute cabinet, I bet it will be perfect. Sorry about the broken glass jar - hope you heal quickly.

    Tracey - have a great time at the scrapbooking event!

    Annie - glad you found a website you enjoy. And have a good time walking in the forest - hope you aren't too sore afterward. Your dad seems quite physically fit for his age, walking as much as he does.

    OK ladies, make it a fabulous weekend! <3

    Barbie ~ I like your mantra "this is not about me". Since I really don't like family dinner out occasions, I have to keep that in mind.

    Lannette ~ What did your hubby say when you offered to let him out of the car? I hate to have to drive DH and I anywhere. We cannot even get out of the driveway without him complaining.

    I have spent a good 1/2 hr going through stuff in my bathroom that has piled up and needs to be done away with...old makeup, hair products, etc. If I do a little at the time, I will finally get some of the mess that has accumulated cleared out. I have stuff that I purchased like air cleaners, irons, and other like things that I never use and want to get rid of but hate throwing out/donating things that I spent money on just in case I MIGHT need them.

    Ginny ~ The audiologist talked me into buying hearing aids Starkey Genesis AI 16 mRIC. They are expensive. I noticed you can get this brand at some of the buy it online stores for about 1/2 the price but guess having a trained professional who can adjust them as needed will be worth the extra money. She had me try on a pair and I could definitely hear better.

    Barbie - 'This is not about me', is a great comforter. I also like your one which goes something like, 'I can do this for a short time, because I don't have to do it forever'. I often say that to myself when it involves unwanted noise in a restaurant or train etc.

    Rita - So sorry to hear about your mum. So hard to be so far away. :'( Also commiserations on Brownie. <3

    I've bought myself some jute baskets to go in the taller cupboard that John moved back. Two of the deep shelves are open, and I'm fed up with looking at stuff. I measured carefully before buying. :)

    Carol - Bravo for tackling your clutter! <3 I think you will find you are not alone in the conundrum of 'I spent good money on this'. So many of us share it. It's known as 'sunk cost'. The money is gone, it's not coming back, and you are only hurting yourself and your house by letting it take up valuable real estate.
    In recent years, by dint of watching Clutterbug, Minimall Mom etc, I have got much better at recognising the fallacy. But it is still hard. >:)

    Lanette ~ So sorry about your kitty. When our 15 yr old Siamese was dying, she hid under the bed. She had tried desperately to rub my leg when I got home from work that day and I was too impatient to pay her the love she needed. I have felt so sorry about that.

    Your poor husband must have been in tremendous pain and it can be understandable that he was a big grouch. I think that's a man's need to be in total control. Glad you both resolved that and that he finally enjoyed riding with you.

    Beth ~ You were a lovely bride and you looked so young.

    Heather ~ I just wish my husband would let me hire someone to clean the junk out of our basement. Half the stuff down there needs to just be thrown away. But, I am enjoying trying to get rid of some of my clutter on the main floor. It will take a while.

    Allie ~ Does Carmine know about the new sister? I sure hope SMiles will love her and think he will because I'm sure he has been around a lot of babies at his sitters.

    Afternoon all,
    He knows ,but we shall see how he does once the little one comes home..
    Got alot of sleep the last few days and did some laundry and will do another load.
    Ive sorta been intermittent fasting and im down 20 lbs..yipee

    Hugs! Wait sorta intermittent fasting? Ok either you are, or you're doing a low calorie diet. As long as you fast for 12/12, or 16/8, or 18/6 or 20/4 which for each of those the first number is how long you fast/ the next number is how long you eating window is, its all good. Read the IF Bible author Gin Stephens "Delay, Don't Deny". Doing a clean fast is key friend.💖👍🏼
    Great job doing 20!

    Gratitudes:
    Today: Ibuprofen allowed a few hours of pain free dreamless sleep.
    Yesterday: Joe uncomplainingly drove me to Grants Pass and back for oral surgery, even stopped in Cave Junction for a Heavenly Coffee espresso milkshake so I could take a tramadol :sick:
    Means I’ve missed 2 days of the declutter challenge but just not feeling up to it. Hopeful for tomorrow.
    Ginny and Carol after these implants are paid for I need to check into my hearing. Maybe it will inspire Joe to do the same … :naughty:
    Annie congrats on figuring out the earbuds, I’ve never found any I could tolerate ;{
    Lisa please tell me the klutz’s name wasn’t Bruce? Looks very much like my high school boyfriend, but he’s have been twenty eight in 1980… ;}
    Tracey :love: the shadow boxes!
    Margaret, fishing line, now why didn’t I think of that?
    Lanette :love: the kittens playing whack-a-mouse. Thanks for the giggles.
    Love everyone’s wedding pics and stories, here’s mine from Oct 3, 1987, we were 37.
    Mom’s friend did the flowers, another friend from church played the organ, a couple who were present at my (infant) baptism doled out the champagne. It was held in the church whose pastor facilitated my adoption, officiated by the current pastor and the pastor who confirmed me, catered by the current intern. Joe’s best friend stood up for him, as did mine. My virtual baby brother pushed Papa’s wheelchair. Joe’s mother flew out but Joe did not invite his father, they had fallen out for awhile. At the receiving line I was able to think of everyone’s name but one, the current pastor’s wife :}

    Still have the dress, wine stain and all.
    Michele I think the funeral people slit the clothes up the back to dress the body, so the pounds and redistribution might not matter… ;}
    Kay, words fail. :cry: (hug) :sad:
    Kim, what you said.
    Mo happy anniversary! BB&B refers to a “Better Bones and Balance” class. Coach really knows how to work us all, no matter at which level our current fitness is. Strengthening using body weight and very few props (steps, dumbbells, dowels, bands and lately [shudder] medicine balls.)
    Pip ?who’s THAT?
    A little snack and another couple ibuprofen and think I can sleep now.

    Later, lighter, lovelies!
