    135.6.

Intended weight is 130. It might take till summer as I’m aiming for a leaner look (lower end of a healthy BMI) and the last few pounds are always slow.

Continuing with my eating protocol which is focusing on protein fruit and veggies, minimal ultra processed treats, 1 to 2 glasses a week of wine. Lifting weights 3 times a week and step aerobics and salsa. Not logging food at the moment as I find it annoying. Aiming for 7 to 8 hours sleep. This last one is the hardest due to the joys of perimenopausal night sweats.

Happy new year to all who take part in this thread. I’m not brilliant at engaging with other MFP people but I enjoy reading all your posts and we have got some good results as a group. I believe the daily posting helps.

@ManifestingToday - thank you for the new thread and continued support .

Happy New Year everyone. Its always a good feeling to have a new start. Looking forward to all of us finding success and continuing to improve and learn how to be a better version of ourselves . My December goal was 168 , I definitely didn't see that number as I have been stuck for a while in a stall of all stalls. So I am sticking with that as my January goal.

Highest Weight 212 lbs | Ultimate Goal 140 lbs | First Goal 165 lbs
    December goal -168
    January Goal- 168

    1/1- 173.3

I think the sun and rest did me good. I slept SOOOOOO good at my parents place with no animals or snoring spouse to keep waking me up. I am a light sleeper and I tend to be deficient in my sleep hours which can affect weight. I also got to go to the gym 4 days so I was able to stick to my routine. I didn't over do it in the food department but I did enjoy a few treats. Its all about balance I guess. It sure was hard to come back to cold and snow . It was much easier to get out and do a 2.5 mile walk when you don't have to worry about ice and snow and sloppy roads.

One thing I did for myself for the new year was invest in a walking pad that is low profile and will fit under my desk. I can more easily get my steps in without feeling like I have to spend 2 hours on the treadmill if I run short throughout the day. 15 mins of a moderate pace walk multiple times throughout the day while I am working will make life alot easier.

I'm the biggest I've been and I'm motivated to start. Motivation wanes, so I gotta break into consistent habits to keep me on track. 100lbs to lose and it will be lost 1 pound at a time. 1 by 1 by 1 by 1. Chip it away slowly.

    SW: 278.4lbs
    GW: 180lbs

    January 1: 278.4lbs

You can do it, Melissa! Best wishes!

138.4. Water weight? 3 pound swing up is unusual for me. Yesterday was a pretty normal eating day for me.

Will post an update February 1st!!!

The last two weeks of Dec I really made no effort to eat better and that's on me. I did however keep up my workout routine to limit the damage. Back to work today in more ways than one LOL.

To all who lost in Dec, big congrats, for those who maintained that's also a big win and for those of us who gained, it's the nature of the beast and today is a new day. Happy New Year everyone!

    2025 Starting weight - 01/02/2025: 216.2 lbs
    Long-term goal: 150 lbs

    1/02 - 216.2 lbs.

Here we go again!! 2024 was a super stressful year & I didn't handle it well. I've gained WAY too much weight back. 2025 isn't going to be a walk in the park either, but I've got to get a grip & focus on my health again.

My goal of seeing a 3 lb. loss in 30 more days should be quite doable as the holiday foods and temptations are behind me. Cutting out wine for the most part should also help! Just retuned from an hour long walk to maintain my minimum of 7500k steps or 3 miles a day.
    Have a great day everyone!

    Comment (01/03/25):
Got out of bed @ 3 a.m. and weighed-in: 228.2 lbs. Went back to bed, got back up @ 4:30 a.m. and re-weighed: 227.8 lbs. Went with the higher weight, as the first weigh-in was closer to my usual time that I weigh-in. Onward and downward!

I am so much hungrier than usual or at least hungrier then I was back in September and October when I was successfully losing weight. I think that’s a good place to start in terms of getting back on track. Deal with false hunger signals by eating more vegetables and drinking more water. Stop eating when I’m full, don’t go for seconds unless I need it. Stop grazing.
