Hey guys,
I'm new here. Well, not really. I've used MFP before, fell off the wagon, had a couple more kids and here I am.

116kg(256lb) 163cm(5ft,3in), size 20/22 dress size. It's the largest I've ever been and my body is falling apart due to the weight. I've got multiple bulging disks and nerve compression so the biggest struggle for me so far has been exercise. Not to say I've been eating super healthy; I'm an emotional eater... I'd love any tips for getting more exercise in and dealing with the cravings/feeling of hunger I'm experiencing!

I’m the exact same. The new year has really made it finally sink in just how bad I’ve let myself go and suddenly I’m at my heaviest. We can do this!

Hey there! Im also in the same boat and new here. My body is def feeling the extra weight and I now have back issues and sciatica, which mostly started when I had my youngest. Im pretty sure my spinal block did some damage. But my weight gain has def not helped the situation. Im looking to make some friends on here fir accountability, tips, shared motivation, and encouragement. Feel free to reach out!

@AmberBusby6397 I have spinal issues too, and nerve damage from an epidural just over 10 years ago. It definitely presents some additional challenges! We've got this!

@SquinnyDaPooh I had that revelation around Christmas, looking at photos from our family lunch and just not liking what I saw. When I started on the 30th Dec 24 I was at my heaviest weight ever. We've got this!

Have you spoke to a therapist about the emotional eating? I have a Binge Eating Disorder(BED) I know I don’t need to eat because I’m not hungry but that wouldn’t stop me, then would eat more because I already blew it for the day. Then would fast to try to get my eating in check and start the process again. It’s a daily fight with myself, but once I learned how to prioritize my thoughts and figure out why I wanted to eat and if it was actually hunger or emotional I’m able to control it better. Sleep hygiene is also very important.

@Mermaid828 I actually haven't, but I feel like it would be a good idea to. I've always struggled with food. It's always been I either eat way too much or I'm extremely restricted. I'm finding a good balance at the moment and hoping to keep it that way
