@200Karen Thanks! Glad to hear you had a good day. I also have a lot of work to do in the garden. I live alone and I can never keep up with it. Tomorrow I will do some pruning and remove the dead flowers from my hydrangea.

    • Food ~ a disaster, ordered pizza

I took a break from walking or working out to give my heel a chance to get better. Not sure it made much of a difference though.

I also had a good day. The walk was nice and I didn't see anyone else outside. Love that. Cut out the dead flowers in the evening. It was very windy so some of the flower heads took off like tumbleweed. I had to grab a ladder to get to the top of my hydrangea, but it is all done and looking good now.

Wanted to go to the gym on Saturday, but they had a thing and were closed so I went Sunday instead. I was very tired all day and didn't do much. I have been reading a lot about 75 hard. Not sure if that is the right thing to try for me.

@200Karen Yes, I actually decided to start this Saturday. I got a family thing on Friday which involves a lot of car sitting, so I am starting after that to avoid the planning headache. It also gives me a few days to get a solid plan in place. I know it will be a challenge, but I think it is good for me. I need a kick in the butt. I have barely made any progress since starting this thread and I think the 75 hard will eliminate some excuses and really make me try.

    Week 4

    Last week: 228.1 lbs
    Today: 229.0 lbs
    Gained 0.9 lbs

Very depressing, but again, my own fault.

@200Karen No problem, I love taking pictures. Awesome loss and those are some cool mountains. I live in a very flat country so that's not a view I can ever get!

    • Sleep ~ 8h 3m
    • Steps ~ 12.830
    • Vitamins ~ done
    • Food ~ didn't track

Had a bit of a rest day, though I used it to get a lot of cleaning of done. I had a storage area that was a huge mess because a wall cabinet fell down a few weeks ago and I didn't have the energy/willpower to tidy it up until now. Really happy that is done. I also got some books delivered last night that I bought for the 75 hard challenge. I am generally not a fan of self help type books so I was a little picky and only got things I would also be interested to read if it wasn't for the challenge. I am most excited about a really pretty book on mushrooms. No idea how it was only 7.50 either since it's a hardcover and has gorgeous art.

I had a very short night. Woke up at 4 and knew sleep wasn't going to happen anymore so I got up around 5. Got some more cleaning done, had a good workout at the gym and increased some weights, got groceries and printed my trackers for 75 hard. Excited to get started tomorrow.

    • Steps ~ 13.462
    • Vitamins ~ done
    • Food ~ +/- 1800 calories
    • Walk 3.7 km

A busy day for me. I got in a short walk in the morning before my dad showed up at 10:00. We went to the birthday party of my niece who turned 8. Sat in the car for almost 4 hours, very busy on the road. I had fun jumping on the trampoline with the kids, but man, it was a lot more exhausting than I remembered! I usually avoid doing things like that because I feel really embarrassed about my weight, but this time I managed to just have fun and didn't worry about it. I wasn't really able to track my food, but it wasn't anything crazy. Just had a slice of home made apple pie.

    Thanks for the encouragement Karen!

    Day 32 ~ April 12

    • Sleep ~ 9h 5m
    • Steps ~ 16.339
    • Vitamins ~ done
    • Food ~ 1606 calories / 99 protein / 47 fiber (Upping my max calories to 1700 because of the two workouts a day for 75 hard. Just to have a little more wiggle room.)
    • Gym & Walk 3.79 km

First day of 75 hard went well. I did hurt my leg on Friday from the trampoline somehow so walking isn't great, but I am kind of used to being in pain so it's whatever. Went to the gym in the morning and did my outdoor walk in the afternoon. It was too sunny and warm for me and I already had a headache before I started. Didn't pick the best forest area either; not enough tree cover. It's okay though, I know for next time. Got it all done which is the important part. My phone has been unable to connect to the internet since yesterday and it is really annoying. I have tried everything under the sun to fix it. Last thing I can try is to factory reset it which is a pain because it deletes all apps.

Glad the trampoline works well for you! I can see why people buy those little rebounders for workouts. It really does get your heart going. Evenings are also my favourite part of the day. Love the feeling when everything is done and I can just sit and relax.

    • Walk one ~ 50 minutes / Walk two ~ 48 minutes

I tried to fix my phone some more, but there is still no internet. I did a full factory reset so all my apps are gone, including the one for my fitness tracker. I will go stand outside a restaurant with free wifi this morning to see if I can at least get some apps back and then call my internet provider. Seems like it might be an issue with the router, but I am not sure. Anyway, my day was pretty good, though I was also very tired.

    • Walk one ~ 46 minutes / Walk two ~ 48 minutes

Some rain in the morning so my first walk was inside on the walking pad. Afternoon walk was outside and pretty nice and warm. I had a nasty headache in the morning, thankfully asperin helped so the rest of the day was fine. Called my internet provider and they are sending me a new modem. I reinstalled my huawei health app in town with free wifi so I can at least see my walks/steps/sleep again.

I hope all the health checks will be fine! I get overeating from stress. It is kind of my go to as well. Cinnamon rolls are nice though. With the increased walking I am doing, I love my foot massager. It is a very simple wooden massager from theraflow, but it feels so nice to use. Really helps a lot with any aches and pains.

It was a pretty hot and humid day here. I went to the gym in the morning and did my walk before lunch instead of after this time. There was some rain and thunder on the way and I wanted to make sure to be home before that happened. It took much longer to arrive than the weather report said, so it was fine. I cleaned my bedroom, aired out all the rooms upstairs and washed my bedsheets. Put on a thinner duvet since I am too hot at night lately. So a pretty productive day!

After all the rain the night before, the temperature dropped a lot here. I feel 10 times better when it isn't warm and sunny. I think I am part vampire. Went for a longer walk in the morning which was really nice. One small section of my favourite walk was closed because a pair of cranes is nesting in the area. The same happened last year. I am happy they are doing so well and there are plenty other nice trails around so I didn't mind too much. We got more rain in the afternoon so I did my second walk on the pad. I find it pretty boring, but I am glad I have it as an option.

Good workout at the gym in the morning. It was a wet and grey day, but I still enjoyed my outdoor walk. Didn't feel much of the light rain in the forest anyway. Not a lot of steps because my cat wanted to sleep on my lap most of the day so I was 'forced' to sit!

Looks like the forest is greening up for spring.

LOL sounds like the best place to be for you and your cat. I could have joined in on that day.

Rainy morning. Started with a boring roadwalk from home. Second half of the walk was dry so it wasn't too bad. Got a pile of groceries after so I don't have to go the days around easter. Second walk was dry and more fun in the national park. My feet have been pretty tired and sore. I am getting new shoes delivered today. I have been wanting them for months and they were on sale now so figured I'd go for it. They have a thicker sole so I hope that will help my feet a bit.

I had a pretty tired day. Even the gym felt a bit of a struggle. I got my new shoes early in the afternoon so I used them on my outdoor walk. They are comfortable and I am happy with them. Now tree roots and rocks don't hurt anymore when I step on them. I think they will be perfect after I get a few more walks in on them. The walk was too hot and sunny for me again, but I got everything done so it was a good day.

Happy Easter! Sounds like a great meal. I recently got zero sugar apricot jam to put on my bread. It is very tasty and very little calories, love it.
