    • Food ~ 1602 calories / 107 protein / 48 fiber
    • Walk 1 ~ 48 min / 3.80 km

Got my walk in before the rain started. Forest was very wet and quiet. I finished reading 'a walk in the woods' which I enjoyed a lot. I walked on the pad later and my legs felt pretty good today. Did some laundry and considered playing WoW again. I found some fun challenges to follow which make me want to play as well.

    Weigh in number 16!

    July 8

    June 26: 200.1 lbs
    Today: 199.7 lbs
    Loss ~ 0.4 lbs

    Highest weight: 247 lbs
    Total loss: 47.3 lbs

It is a tiny loss, but I don't mind. After 75 hard, I had a couple crazy high food days and lost my mind a little bit! I am not surprised it took a while to get the weight off again, which is exactly why my first weigh in of each month is after a full 7 days back on track. I do plan to make the food breaks shorter in the future, limit it to two days, and also go a little less insane. Either way, I plan to never see the scale number start with a two again for the rest of my life.

Another nice walk in cloudy weather with a breeze. If summer was always like this, I'd be happy. I walked on the pad after lunch, body felt good again. The rest of the day was a bunch of gaming. I also found a tick on my body in a weird spot. Thankfully it had barely bitten and just let go easily.

Good walk, still cloudy, got some groceries after. Gym after lunch. Felt a little nausseated. It would be nice to have some more time between food and gym. I gotta wait until August when they open 24/7 so at least it's not very long left. Workout still went pretty well. I did a bunch of laundry and the dishes.

Good morning walk. I was tired and not in the mood to walk on the pad, so I was a little late to get it done. I find it much harder to follow the 75 hard rules now. Less motivation since I have already finished it. Though doing it in blocks of 25 days is really not that bad. I feel physically fine, just a bit lazy and tired, but nothing to keep me from going. Just need to push through.

Nice morning walk again, didn't see anybody else outside. I got some groceries after. Found lots of protein and energy stuff on sale, I guess they will stop selling these things at my store, so I grabbed a bunch of them to try. A lot of it is also for my mom. I went to the gym before lunch. Had a really good time and increased my reps for some exercises. It took a while, but I finally got the trail running magazines delivered, so I am looking forward to reading those.

    • Cleaning / sorting clothes

The usual morning walk, though I was pretty hot this time. Spent most of the day going through all my clothes. I moved everything to the guest room the previous evening. I cleaned my two wardrobes which were super dusty. They are open ones which I have come to hate, but it's too expensive to get new ones. I got storage boxes and some other stuff to make it less dusty, but I am still not a fan. Anyway, I moved one of the wardrobes out of my bedroom and to the smallest room where I also store my puzzles. I figured with all the stuff I was going to throw out I would only need one for my main clothing. I ended up with a giant pile of things I don't like, don't wear, that don't fit, and that are just too old / used up. I also cleaned my bedroom, did 3 loads of laundry and changed my bedsheets. Ordered a new pillow, protective cover and pillow cases from Ikea as well as a small dresser. I should get it all Friday. It was very exhausting so I decided to count it as my second workout. I didn't have the energy to do anything else.

The start pile and the second picture is everything I am throwing away.

The same walk as always, saw a cute roedeer running through the forest. I walked on the pad before lunch. I was pretty tired but the video I watched was nice. Getting it done before lunch is better. Putting it off just makes me not want to walk at all. I ordered some new bug spray and iron supplements. I don't think I get enough with my diet and I saw some people say it helped increase their vo2max so going to try. Mine is extremely low which I don't understand. Also considering going for some cardio sessions at the gym instead of doing a second walk on the pad at home. I will give it a try in a few weeks to see if I can manage to suffer through something like that.

Walk, nice temperature because of the rain the day before. Grabbed some groceries after I finished and went to the gym after lunch. I keep making small improvements in my workout which is nice. It is still very hard, but I like the schedule. Finished reading 'the rise of ultrarunners', it was good, 9/10. I had a nice day and didn't feel tired for a change.

Morning walk in the forest, pretty hot. Went to the store after because they had some sport deals. I only ended up buying some socks which were really nice. I did laundry and walked on the pad before lunch. My mom later told me she also got the socks, but somehow she spaced out and got the wrong size. I had to pick up a package at the end of the day, so I went by the other store again to see if they still had a pair for my mom. The deals they have are great, but stock is always low so usually everything is gone the next day. She was lucky and I managed to get the last pair for her.

My package had two new sport shirts which were nicer than the ones I had, and two sport leggings which are a bit tighter than I like, but they are good and once I lose some more weight, they will be perfect. I plan to go to the gym for cardio on top of my strength stuff starting in August and I didn't have enough clothes to go that often. I already do plenty of laundry so getting some extra clothes was better.

    Weigh in number 17!

    July 17

    July 8: 199.7 lbs
    Today: 197.0 lbs
    Loss ~ 2.7 lbs

    Highest weight: 247 lbs
    Total loss: 50 lbs

I would have liked a bigger loss, but I guess I can't complain. Also down exactly 50 pounds which is halfway to my (initial) goal of 147. I have lowered my calories a tiny bit at the start of the month, so I am staying under 1650 now instead of 1700. It's not a big difference to me, but I think it is better since I have lost a decent chunk of weight now since setting that 1700 calorie limit.

Since I am still not happy with baking my potatoes in a lot of oil, I have decided to switch to boiling potatoes instead. That is really going to drop my fat intake by a lot from around 47-50 to 34 which I think will be much better. I love all potatoes so I don't think I will mind. The only annoying part is that I do not have a stove so I use induction cooktops and with cooking potatoes instead of baking them in the same pan as my veggie burger, I need 3 spots instead of 2 which means a second induction cooktop on the counter. It is a small annoyance and I will get over it fast I am sure.

Walk was fine. I saw a roedeer with two little fawns so I stopped to watch for a while since they were on my trail. I got a lot of groceries after my walk and then did laundry. Felt very tired and sick and wasn't sure how I was going to get my second walk done. Thankfully the pills I took helped so I had a late walk before dinner. I got my Ikea stuff delivered, but didn't have the energy to put the little dresser together, so I think I will do that Sunday. Also got a fun package with new tea, two cups and fudge in a cute cat tin that was on sale because it expires in October.

A very humid walk, at least there wasn't much sun. It turned out to be another pretty hot day. I cooked potatoes for the first time and I really enjoyed it. It felt much nicer to eat without a lot of oil and I love potatoes in any and all ways so I didn't miss the baked version at all. I walked on the pad after lunch. We got some thunder and rain late in the evening so I did some reading on the couch and then went to bed. I have noticed my watch is not always tracking my steps in the evening correctly which is a little annoying. Maybe time for a new one.

I had a pretty busy and rough day. Started with a walk as usual, too warm. Got groceries and then cooked. Went to the vet for the injection for Tinus. I am so glad we got it done by a vet instead of an assistant. He didn't even flinch or make a sound and she was done in no time. It is going to cost me 20 euros more each month because a vet is giving the shot, which is quite a steep increase, but I rather hurt in my wallet than hurt my cat.

I walked on the pad before lunch which was a struggle. The temperatures were getting to me a bit. It wasn't that bad anymore, but inside was still quite warm and I was just exhausted, my head hurt and I was thinking how stupid it was of me to do this dumb two workout a day thing. But it is what I told myself I was going to do, so I am doing it. It helps that a break is coming up soon too and I know it will get better later in the year when summer is over. I just need to get through August which hopefully won't be too hot. We got some more thunder in the evening, so I shut off all my electronics and finally put together the small dresser I got from Ikea. It went together quite easily, but I somehow still ended up sweating my butt off so I had a 3rd shower.

Went to the forest for a different walk this time. It was pretty nice, just a bit muddy. Went to gym quite soon after my walk to hear how it all works when they open 24/7; go over the rules and stuff. I got some groceries after that was done, then did laundry and walked on the pad after lunch. I got a package that had leggings with a skirt that seemed really cute, but they were way too big and heavy so I will be returning those. Finished reading 'finding ultra' which was pretty good, 8.5/10. I was a bit grumpy all day. Even though I am doing a lot, it still doesn't feel like enough and every day feels the same.

Morning walk, it was too warm. I had a pretty bad headache most of the day. My macros are a little different again because I have a lot of mealbars left that I don't want to go to waste. So I will be having one for lunch every day until I run out. I went to the gym after lunch which was a very sweaty mess again, but it went well. I started feeling awful in the evening. I got my massage gun and book delivered around 19:00 and I went to bed right after since it was turning into a migraine. I lay in bed with an eyemask and earplugs for around an hour and half before I started to feel better and managed to sleep. Not great, but just glad it happened at the end of the day when everything was already done.

Morning walk was every warm, 18 degrees, barely cooled down at night. The whole day was pretty busy. I had a shower when I got home and quickly ate some breakfast. My dad was here around 9:30. We went to town where i bought some socks, a cute ghost blanket (I wanted a squishmallow but they were sold out), my favourite chocolate pie and 7 bags of wood pellets for the litterbox. We relaxed a bit at home, had some food and then loaded up the van my dad borrowed with a bunch of trash from my garage. I had a lot of big things that were in the way, like old cat trees, wooden boards and some broken stuff. We drove to the recycling center to get rid of it all which was super nice. I only had to pay 12 euros for all of it which wasn't bad at all imo. When my dad left again, I mowed the grass in the front and back, did some weeding and pruning. Very productive day for sure.

    Today: 194.6 lbs
    Loss ~ 2.4 lbs

    Total loss: 52.4 lbs

Made it the end of a 25 hard block. My weight loss overall wasn't too great. I really went too crazy after 75 hard was finished and although I didn't weigh myself after my 5 days of overeating, I suspect I ate back at least 5 lbs during that time. I am not doing that again. This time I don't really feel I need a break from the food and I also haven't been missing or craving much. I will take it easy for two days, no workouts at all on Saturday and then I will be back at it starting Monday. So I am hoping that August will be a bit better for weight loss. It will for sure be cool to get out of the 190's.

Another bad food day unfortunately. I know 3 days is not a lot in the grand scheme of things, but I really don't like that it takes so much effort to get back on track. I had a nice walk in the morning, got some groceries and in the evening I got a new bag with earplugs and a small frying pan. With my old one, my veggie burger kept getting stuck / burned and it was getting annoying. Tested the new one this morning and glad it is working much better.

Finally had a 'perfect' day again. Walk was nice, though I did come across a dead goose. It was a bit strange because it was laying at the base of a tree and it looked really peaceful and like it was just sleeping. Couldn't see anything wrong with it, so it was pretty fresh. I went to the gym after lunch. Stomach was a little unhappy again so I decided to skip the mountain climbers. Hanging upside down seemed like a bad idea.

I had a nice walk in the morning which was the only positive thing about the day. I got some groceries and bought some cookies and crisps which wasn't the plan. Then went out again in the evening for a frozen pizza and brownies. So stupid. I also skipped the gym in the afternoon because I was feeling really awful mentally and physically. Since this was the last day of my official break, I guess my brain came up with lots of excuses to cheat and be lazy. It makes me feel like an addict. The breaks are so bad for someone who is all or nothing. Anyway, 25 hard block time. I started a new book; ' running with Sherman' which I think I will love.

It was a pretty wet day so I started with a walk in my rain poncho. I had a good time. Before lunch I went to the gym to try out my cardio routine. Did not have a good time there. Even though I have been walking a lot and doing weights, my stamina is beyond pathetic. It was a little shocking to me. Anyway, I plan to go do this 4 times a week if I can. I also made a spreadsheet where I track my heartrate of the little blocks I do so I hope it will improve fast. I am currently doing 5 minutes of rowing, 15 treadmill, 5 crosstrainer, 10 bike, 5 crosstrainer, 5 rowing. I was the only one at the gym which was really nice. I hope it stays like that! So happy that I can finally go whenever I want now.

    • Walk ~ 51 min / 3.94 km
    • Gym at 13:30 (weights)

It was pouring rain in the morning, so I had another wet walk in my poncho. I much rather walk in summer weather like this than 20+ degrees and sunny, so I will never complain about a rainy walk. The gym was a little hectic. I had just changed in my workout clothes and was brushing my teeth at 13:27 when I remembered I had booked my gym slot for 13:30 and not 14:00 like the previous day. I have no idea how that slipped my mind. So I rushed out the door and was there around 13:34, not a big deal. But then my QR code from the app didn't work and the door wouldn't open for me. I tried around 10 minutes and was about to give up and go home again when two people came outside. The guy also tried with my phone, but nope. His worked though, so he let me in and I ended up being able to workout thankfully. When I was nearing the end of my workout, one of the owners popped in for a second which was really lucky. He said he would get it fixed so hopefully I won't have any issues when I go later today.
