    • Sleep ~ 9h 55m
    • Steps ~ 15.837
    • Vitamins ~ done
    • Food ~ 1653 calories / 102 protein / 47 fiber
    • Walk 1 ~ 45 minutes / 3.35 km
    • Walk 2 ~ 51 minutes / 3.96 km

It was raining all day. I started on the walking pad hoping it would be dry later, but that didn't happen. So out I went in my rain poncho. I still had a nice walk outside and the poncho did a really good job keeping me dry so it wasn't too bad.

I slept for almost 10 hours, so I did feel a bit better! I feel the same about there not being enough hours in the day. I guess we just have to do what we can.

    • Walk ~ 53 minutes / 3.96 km

I had a full day which started with the gym. Workout went pretty good. Went home to shower and then got a bunch of groceries. When I got home, I saw my food scale was low on batteries and I didn't have the right kind so after my outdoor walk I picked some up. The walk was nice and I saw some fun things. I did a little bit of work in the garden in the evening, but I was too tired to do much. I honestly just want to set it all on fire! Also got some packages delivered with treats for my cat, silicone panholders, a hat, a book and some vet wrap.

    • Sleep ~ 9h 4m
    • Steps ~ 18.256
    • Vitamins ~ done
    • Food ~ 1586 calories / 99 protein / 46 fiber
    • Walk 1 ~ 51 minutes / 3.76
    • Walk 2 ~ 51 minutes / 3.93 km

Two fairly boring walks yesterday. The weather was great though, cloudy and good temp. In the evening I mowed the front garden. I absolutely hate mowing, so it took a lot of willpower to get it done. I planned to do it next week when it is warmer, but the grass was mostly dry now anyway and why sweat more in the heat. I was very tired after that and had my 5th change of clothes and second shower. This challenge doubles my laundry, crazy!

It was an extremely wet day over here. I got wet biking to the gym, then I got wet biking home, and then I got even more wet during my outdoor walk in the afternoon (from the knee down anyway). I didn't really mind because the rest of the day felt very lazy with lots of cuddle time with my cat. Good luck at the gym!

I had a really nice walk in the morning, very quiet except for all the birds. Found some tiny feathers that I suspect got blown out of a nest. I got groceries after, dropped off a package with my old modem and picked up the package that has my new roller shades. Even though I already have light blocking curtains in my bedroom, they don't do a great job and I don't want to get up in at 5 in the summer. So I got these new ones that I think will be a lot better. I unpacked one last night and it looks pretty simple to hang up, so I might attempt that today if I have the energy. My second walk was very muddy so I had to be a bit careful.

Love that picture, looks like an awesome group of gym friends!

I enjoy getting up early, even after retirement it’s 5am for my first coffee ☕️

Your roller blackout curtains still sound like something I should check out

After reading your review I did find a single foot roller Love it 😊

Thank you! I am glad you found a nice foot roller. For me, getting up early is between 6 and 7. I think that's early enough! I have chronic fatigue so I need a lot of sleep. If I get up at 5, I would need to go to bed at 19:00 and that just seems a bit insane.

I tried to put up one of the roller shades today. I don't have enough plugs, the wall is super hard in some places and it doesn't hang straight even though the level says it does. Instead of struggling with it for hours, I asked if my dad wants to help. It is really simple and I know he will have them up in less than 10 minutes. I just don't have the energy to deal with it, lol. He will come over next Saturday.

Picture is blurry because my phone is being silly, but you get the idea. It rolls down slightly to the right, so there is a gap on the left side which I obviously don't want. If they are up properly, I think they will be great at blocking the sunlight.

Yes those should work great even with a small gap the drapes should cover that up

Sorry you have choric fatigue. You are taking good care of yourself with the walking, gym, and diet commitments. Hope you continue to feel good 👍💕

I’m waiting on a new Italian dressing chicken recipe. Smells good so far

Our weather is nice at 60 degrees so I’m waiting outside for lunch. Feet are up and I am watching the day go by 😍

Thank you Karen, glad the food was nice. My mom also quilted a few blankets. I still have my baby blanket and another one she made for me.

Do you live in Australia 🇦🇺 or Canada 🇨🇦

Agree walking outside over the gym. My ‘silver’ gym class starts at 8:00 so the hardest part for me is getting out of the house on time. After it ends then I’m happy 😂

I love your pictures. I just had my 44th Birthday. I have lost and gained huge amounts of weight lots of times. I lost 177 lb in two years and then in past year I have gained 77 lb back. It is so hard to get back on track again but I am also back here trying to get myself motivated again and find some people to connect with who understand. It looks like you are doing great. I also love going for walks. Today I went walking to see the bluebells. I was tempted to eat things that are no good for me on way home when went to shop but I put them back on the shelf and just got the items I went in for. 1 healthy day.

@RunawayCurves Thanks for popping in here and sharing the pretty flowers! I feel like the first good day is always the hardest. Now you have something to build on, so keep going! For me the grocery store is always the worst. So many things I see that I 'can't' have. I try to go through with a list, never when I am hungry and as fast as possible, lol. It is still not fun with temptations everywhere. I hope you will post here now and then, the more the merrier.

I had a fun morning walk and found a little friend. He was in the middle of a parking lot of the national park which gets very busy on Sundays, so I moved him to some tall grass where hopefully people won't walk. This week is pretty warm and my second walk was miserable. I just have sooo much less energy it is actually insane. Also the short forest walk has tree roots everywhere so I am constantly looking down to make sure I don't faceplant. Not very entertaining. Thinking of going for boring instead and using my walking pad in the afternoon on the warm days. Didn't do much else than the walks because I was exhausted.

Oh, and I live in the Netherlands! So your two guesses were not very close, haha!

Netherlands 🇳🇱 I was way off. Love today’s photos. Great job rescuing our green friend. I have them in my yard and have to keep an eye on them 😍 Great job pushing forward on your second walk

After going to a nutritionist at the gym, I’m on a high protein diet. Last night before closing the kitchen I had a chocolate, peanut butter, almond shake. Very filling, delicious and with 33 grams protein. Been buying Jocko Molk with less disagreeable additives

Here’s my favorite neighborhood photo from last fall And the view a few miles away, Three Sisters mountains.
