Day 57 ~ May 7
- Sleep ~ 8h 52m
- Steps ~ 19.148
- Vitamins ~ done
- Food ~ 1610 calories / 100 protein / 46 fiber
- Walk 1 ~ 70 minutes / 4.94 km
- Walk 2 ~ 45 minutes / 3.32 km
I had a very busy and never ending day again. Outdoor walk in the morning was first. It was pretty nice outside and I found another frog, this time in the middle of the trail. He was very hard to spot and he didn't move, so I relocated him off to the side. Then I had a shower at home, cooked food, fixed the clogged drain in my kitchen (oh boy, it was nasty), then did my second walk indoors on the pad, had a quick lunch, cleaned my bathroom, had the second shower of the day, ate dinner and then put away my laundry before bed. I went to bed at 20:00, I was tired.
Thanks Laura! I hope your ankle will feel better soon.

Hey Hufflepurr where’d you go? How’s your journey going?

@mrsfabbanks Not sure what you mean where I went? I am posting here every day! 😉 But things are going well so far, thanks for asking.

Day 58 ~ May 8
- Sleep ~ 8h 3m
- Steps ~ 14.805
- Vitamins ~ done
- Food ~ 1605 calories / 100 protein / 45 fiber
- Gym at 8:30
- Walk ~ 49 minutes / 3.68 km
Despite going to bed very early, I did not get a lot of sleep. My cat decided to join me and he was in very awkward spots plus he woke me up again in the morning. I was a little sleepy at the gym, but I got a good workout in. At 11:30 someone came over to inspect the house which I always hate; strangers in your house sucks. They want to improve the energy use of houses so they came to look at what could be done. It won't happen until next year and I will get a plan of action in 6 months or so. Hopefully it won't be too disruptive, but it will be nice to use less gas for heating since that is extremely expensive. I had a nice walk in the afternoon and relaxed the rest of the day. I was very tired again so another day going to bed at 20:00.

Another lovely looking walk about.
My ankle is feeling much better now so I plan on trying a longer walk tomorrow, have been resting it this week.1 -
Day 59 ~ May 9

- Food ~ 1613 calories / 99 protein / 46 fiber
- Walk 1 ~ 100 minutes / 6.77 km
- Walk 2 ~ 51 minutes / 4.04 km
Walked with my camera in the morning, but there wasn't a lot to see. Some deer and a spotted flycatcher. The birds did a good job at hiding from me again. I walked an extra loop because I heard golden orioles and wanted to see if I could find them. I saw them flying very far away so no pictures. Kinda knew it was a lost cause, lol. I went outside for my second walk a bit late. It was not as hot out as I feared thanks to some clouds so I had a good time on that walk too.

- Steps ~ 13.175
- Vitamins ~ done
- Food ~ 1651 calories / 100 protein / 48 fiber
- Gym at 8:30
- 70 minutes of garden work
Late update from me because I am exhausteeed. But yesterday I went to the gym in the morning. I got groceries right after and saw a fake hedera wall thing for in the garden. That was perfect to block off the opening in the fence and it wasn't expensive either. I worked in the garden for over an hour in the afternoon and put up the fake plants, I tidied up the area for the flower field, I raked, I watered, I put in the seeds and raked and watered some more. I really hope it will work this year; I want pretty flowers. Although I didn't feel like I did a huge amount, it was sunny outside so I felt very drained after the garden work. Not sure how the fake hedera will hold up over time, but I am happy with it for now.

Well done on all the gardening, The fake leaves do a good job filling in that gap. Sounds like a productive day.
I lost 1.5 lb this week which is not bad considering my walks were reduced by sore ankle.
I was able to go for a nice long walk over the hills today though.0 -
@RunawayCurves Lovely pictures and open views! Good job with the weight loss. Diet is the biggest part when it comes to losing anyway, so I wouldn't worry too much about missing out on walks. I wish exercise had a bigger impact, but alas. Glad your ankle is feeling better.

It is the 12th of the month today, so time to take new measurements (they are in cm). I didn't post this last month, because as you can see, it was mostly the same or worse so not very fun to 'compare'. April 12th I started 75 hard so it has now been exactly 30 days. I am very happy with my progress and I hope the weight keeps flying off at this rate.

Day 62 ~ May 12
- Sleep ~ 7h 25m
- Steps ~ 17.512
- Vitamins ~ done
- Food ~ 1641 calories / 102 protein / 46 fiber
- Bike ride +/- 2 hours
- Walk ~ 45 minutes / 3.31 km
I started the morning with a bike ride. It was very windy, but also very quiet and I saw a lot of cool stuff. Got some nice pictures of a tree pipit, a beautiful chunky hare, a red-backed shrike (don't see those often) and the biggest treat was finding a fox. The picture of it didn't turn out great because the sun was a bit harsh, but I am still happy I saw it. In the afternoon I used my walking pad while watching a hiking video.

Lovely pictures and you are doing great with the activities and calories , I wish my phone could take such good pictures. I am not quick enough to take pictures of most the birds I see. I see quite a few baby bunny rabbits but they go too fast for me to capture pictures.
Today I did my regular over the hills walk, It was quite hot and sunny so lots of sun cream. I took my lunch out with me to have half way.
I am actually trying to deliberately eat more in order to fuel my walks and break free of my diet binge cycle.0 -
@RunawayCurves Thank you! Yeah, for birds and small skittish animals, you really need a camera. Phones are great for landscape pictures though. That does look pretty hot. What temp is it over there? I try to always get my walks done in the morning because I don't handle sun well at all. On gym days I go in the afternoon, but I do my best to walk in the shade in the forest. An area like that from your pictures would be hell for me, lol! Binging is really tough to deal with so I hope upping your calories with good food helps. It helps me a lot to eat the same thing for every meal. I am sure that would be awful for most people, but I don't get bored it, I know exactly the calories and macros and I know it's healthy and I don't feel hungry when I eat this way. For me simple is better.
@200Karen I haven't seen you around here in a while. Hope you are well.

Not a very interesting day. Gym in the morning and outdoor walk in the afternoon. It was very warm and there were bugs everywhere so I didn't really manage to enjoy my walk.

@Hufflepurr I was just passing by, looking at challenges, and saw your post. Great job, love your pictures by the way. Where do you live? It's beautiful.
Are you a professional photographer? If not, you should be. You are really good at it.
Keep up the good work!

@lislisa123 Hi! Thank you for the nice comment. I live in the Netherlands close to a National Park so I am pretty lucky. I am not a professional, photography is just a hobby for me. I don't think I would enjoy it as much if it was a 'job' and there are lots of other amateurs out there who are way better than me, though it's nice to hear you think I am good enough for it! 🙂

- Food ~ 1592 calories / 101 protein / 46 fiber
- Walk ~ 49 minutes / 3.73 km

I had a busy morning. Gym evaluation was at 8:00. I asked for more weight and machine stuff. My new schedule will be explained on Tuesday, so two more times doing the old one. I also stepped on the inBody scale. My weight was barely any different from when I used it the first time in February, but I lost over 3 kilograms of fat and gained a bunch of muscle so that was nice to see. After the gym I went home to change, went for a walk, then moved an appointment because I somehow managed to plan the dentist & vet at the same date & time. I have been having some trouble with turning my e-bike on/off, I have to press the button really hard before it decides to work, so I went to the bike shop to see if they could fix it. He said they would have to replace the entire display which would cost 125 euros! No thanks. After that I got all my groceries. I did a bunch more gardening in the afternoon (moved 4 extremely heavy stone tiles and weeding) and another half hour in the evening. It was a busy and exhausting day.

Lots of activity,well done.
The temperature in my bit of England has been 20-25 c which is in the 70's F.
Yesterday I went out for a shorter walk around garden, very pretty still. Not a particularly healthy food day but not as bad as could have been either.1 -
Day 65 ~ May 15
- Sleep ~ 7h 56m
- Steps ~ 14.480
- Vitamins ~ done
- Food ~ 1616 calories / 102 protein / 47 fiber
- Gym at 8:30
- Walk ~ 51 min / 3.70 km
Morning started with the gym. I felt very nauseated and I had a bad headache, so I ended up skipping the last 3 exercises. I had to swing by the gardenstore to grab another bottle of lice spray for a couple of plants in my garden and I also got a small foam kneepad to use while weeding. Took some aspirin with my breakfast and felt a bit better after that. Walk in the afternoon was alright; a little breeze and not as hot anymore. Temperatures here have also been between 20-25. It is also super dry. Looks like we might get some rain in a week or so.

Nice morning walk in the national park. I found a snake, but I didn't want to disturb it so I stayed away. Also a goldfinch which I don't get to photograph often. Otherwise not very interesting. Second walk was inside on the pad. I had a relaxing day and did a lot of reading and gaming. It was nice.

- Gym at 8:30
- Walk ~ 48 min / 3.68 km
Gym in the morning, last time doing this schedule! Excited to see my new one Tuesday. I got a different vegan burger to try and it was not great. I smothered it in ketchup which helped a little, lol. Thankfully I only got one package so I will go back to my previous one tomorrow. Outdoor walk in the afternoon was a little hot, but it was okay.

I lost 2 lb this week
last week was 233 lb
this week 231 lb
lost 109lb from my heaviest of 340 lb
I never found a vegan burger that I really liked, I used to make myself nut roast type burgers but I got out of the habitand tend to stick with tofu and beans though I do now eat some fish, eggs and dairy. 8 years was the longest I lasted as a vegan, I will likely go back again at some point.
I saw lots of animals on my walk today.0 -
@RunawayCurves Awesome job with the weight loss! I never managed to enjoy tofu. It is a texture issue for me. Aldi has a really tasty vegan spinach cheese burger, but the macro's of it aren't great, so I am not eating them at the moment. The one I have is from a Dutch grocery store and has 110 calories / 11 protein / 6 fiber. It's very nice!

Day 68 ~ May 18
- Sleep ~ 8h 58m
- Steps ~ 15.090
- Vitamins ~ done
- Food ~ 1678 calories / 114 protein / 48 fiber
- Bike ride +/- 110 min
- Walk ~ 49 min / 3.83 km
I got up a bit early and though I slept almost 9 hours, I still felt pretty tired. I decided to go for a bike ride this time. Sunday is the bussiest day in nature, but I was outside around 7 so most people were still sleeping. I didn't see a lot of fun things and the pictures I got of a buzzard and a hare did not turn out nice. But close to the end of my ride I did find a couple of common linnets. I love those birds and I have not seen them very often so I am happy I got some nice pictures. In the afternoon I went outside for a walk since it wasn't very hot.

Day 69 ~ May 19
- Sleep ~ 9h 13m
- Steps ~ 13.392
- Vitamins ~ done
- Food ~ 1675 calories / 111 protein / 46 fiber
- Walk ~ 73 min / 4.31 km
- Gardening +/- 60 min
Had a nice walk with my camera in the morning. Most fun thing was a blue-headed wagtail that posed for me pretty well. I had a pretty bad headache so I took some aspirin at home. For my second workout I did a lot of gardening; weeding, mowing, covered an area with cardboard and stones, cleaned the hedgehog house. I hate gardening, but at least I made some more progress.

It looks beautiful, makes me want to climb in the pictures and come along on a walk.
