Going to an enamelling workshop tomorrow so I better get off the sofa and start putting my kit together. Going on the train so having to travel light. Coffee first though. Priorities.

Thanks again @ManifestingToday for the new thread..Here is to a great successful healthy month to all.
Here we go August! This will be the month I hit what was originally my Ultimate Goal weight of 150 (although I have moved that needle another 10 lb less since) that I set over a year ago for myself. I am 57 lbs lighter than what I was at that time. When I started this journey I had no idea how to get to my goal but I was determined to not feel the way I was feeling at that time. I know I have been here once before and said I'd never let myself get heavy again , but sadly I did, over a 10 year span.. This time, I believe I am now educated enough to know how to manage things. Hormones are dialed in and finally knowing how my body wants to be fueled .. NO more Keto , fasting , or any other fads for me. Protein, fiber and healthy carbs. There will be upswings here and there with life circumstances, but knowing how to deal with those is half the battle.
This fall /winter Body recomp will pay a bigger role hopefully in my workouts. I see a few muscles popping through but I want more definition and toning.

Hi,
I’m just starting my health journey again after a few really difficult years with family trauma (and finishing grad school). I gained much more weight than I’d like, and am about 2 years gone from what was my healthiest body and weight. I’m wondering if I can participate in the motivation, without sharing my weight. I’m not at a point where I’m comfortable stepping on a scale, so was hoping to set goals and monitor progress by feel….. my goal is 168, I’m probably at least double that now…. But if you’ll have me!
My August goals are intermittent fasting (16:8), movement (the goal is any increase from July) and a shift to more whole, less processed foods with a focus on protein and fibre!3 -

We will have Chipotle today, so there will be a bump for sodium, but I'm happy to see the number finally getting lower again.

I’m new here - I have been in maintenance for a couple of years now, but due to a lot of stress, have lost the plot a bit. Was maintaining at 54 - 55kg. I weighed in at 56.9kg today.
My goal is to get back to where I’m happiest and feel more in control - hopefully back to 55kg. 💭😊

Hi Folks!
This last chemo did not do it's job so next step is a clinical trial. At least I got to come home Thursday. I lost 7 lbs in the hospital but have gained 2 back. 170 is comfortable but not happy how I got here. The hospital food was carb heavy and I didn't eat much those last 3 days. Back home I have my full appetite.
Went for a short walk Sat after dinner and did some weeding in the yard yesterday morning. Def not ready for anything more quite yet.

8/4 154.2My last workout was either Friday or Saturday and since I didn't log it, I can't honestly remember. Today had a bad case of the munchies, then ate Italian wedding soup for dinner that my parents made along with a healthy sized slice of bread /butter.. TOO MANY CARBS .. eek..
We went to the concert Saturday night, and got caught in a big thunderstorm. Luckily the storms cleared before it really got started but not the rain .We ended up not staying long because it was just not fun when your standing around in the rain and wind . Not to mention the music was not what we thought.. Oh well.. we tried to go do something different.
Going to kick things in gear tomorrow. Have to..

Was away for several days looking after my mom who was ill (she’s ok now). Now back but fasting for a medical procedure this afternoon. Just trying to eat healthy amidst the chaos but not being too hard on myself. July was a plateau month for me so I’m hoping August will show some progress. Hello everybody. I am logging for 2 weeks just to get an idea of my typical intake. My weight drifted up to 145 and is now down to 140. Still mainly vegan and whole food. I feel very well in myself. Will see about a small deficit in a couple of weeks. Hope you are all doing ok.
