Scale holding steady at 170 past few days. Bloodwork this was better than expected this week. Bone marrow biopsy this week I think. I want to add some activity back into my routine yet still not overdo it. Today would be a nice day to kayak but have to talk hubby into it.

@SuperMotivated56 - I'd love to hear any advice or suggestions on maintenance since you have been there for a bit. I am getting close and its a little worrisome to think about because I haven't been successful in the past.

@tishsmith101 - very glad to hear your bloodwork shows improvement. I hope you get to go kayaking. That sounds like a great way to spend to the day.

@ManifestingToday thanks for the info. Funny enough my old “standby “ SUV from 2008 is a AWD Hyundai Santa Fe. BEST CAR EVER. Great in snow and ice too. It goes anywhere in AWD. But like I mentioned she’s starting to show her age . Taking any roads trips more than an hour or two makes me nervous. This the reason for finding a replacement. I considered another one but after some research it seems the newer model Hyundai aren’t quite what they used to be for durability? Ofcourse most vehicles are that way. I guess you just never know. I even read some of the newer Toyota are having issues. That being said Fridays trip for car shopping was surprisingly successful. I found a good fit. Ended up with a 2 year old Chevy equinox AWD with only 40k on it. While that is considered Higher than normal annual mileage for the age of the car, it had all good maintenance records on the carfax and it was definitely in the right price range. In fact, they haggled a bit with me. So I got it for a 1k less than I thought I would. It’s not the fancy trim package all, pretty much the basic model but it’s well enough equipped for my needs and they are rated for reliability , efficiency and AWD . I’m happy with the purchase and luckily I had all my pre approval done beforehand with my bank, so aside from a little extra paperwork I was able to get it all done and took the car home Friday afternoon

I’m so glad to be done shopping.

@HappyDonkey75 it would be my pleasure to share. There are many things and I may come back and add some. I have continued to track my meals on a daily basis - this is probably the number one thing that has helped me. I do have a treat once in a while, but keep it at that and don’t throw the rest of the day out. I have learned to have reasons for why I don’t partake in certain things, as people will try and destabilise you - make sure that your reasoning is well-prepared and not open to manipulation. I, for example, have an arrhythmia and can’t tolerate sugar - people don’t argue with this as it’s a rock solid health reason 🙂

I prioritise daily exercise - mostly just daily walks - it helps me in so many ways and particularly with stress management too.

I prioritise sleep and try and keep to a sleep routine - it’s amazing what a difference this makes.

I have also worked out for myself that there are certain foods that just aren’t worth the after effects - physiologically and on the scale. I try and keep grains to a minimum, as they are my “just not worth it” foods.

I am aware of my emotional triggers and try and keep contact with toxic people to a minimum - this is a sure fire way for my best efforts to get thwarted!

And then lastly (for now), I try to be happy and enjoy each moment and not get too fixated or stressed out about things - not every day will go according to plan and that’s okay. Keeping stress at bay does wonders for keeping my health in check.

I’m cheering you on and rooting for you - you’ve got this!! 👌🏻 🌟💫💛
