    Ate an enormous bag of snacks yesterday afternoon – scales enjoyed them as much as I did.  There is no logic sometimes.

      Yes @SofaKween I totally agree, there is often no logic to the scales!!! Sometimes I think about weighing myself less often because only the long term trends matter. But I like the daily intention and the check in here.

    Our intended merit increases have been delayed again at work. And the announcement only came after some business news article was released separately. Then we got an email less than 24 hrs later. What a joke. Not only are they not compensating us, they are being less than transparent about it. We are now essentially a year deferred from any increases in salary. My workload has not gone down this year, its only gone up.. Not happy , definitely not motivated to work hard. Morale is already bad. This won't help .

    @HappyDonkey75 - that's so wrong and the lack of transparency is unforgivable. If there's no chance of changing jobs and your conscience allows it, then it's keep your head down at work and if you don't have time to get everything done then it doesn't get done.
