So, I almost didnβt weigh today knowing that it wouldnβt be good but this time curiosity got the best of me. Iβve got a stretch of a couple of days before I travel for an overnight medical trip Monday/Tuesday next week. I hope to make the most of it, even with my DD and DGS arriving today, food-filled totes and all. Iβm pre-logging today as soon as Iβm done posting. Iβm a whole pound above my #7 which is my comfort zone. I wonβt be having it!
ππππ 09/05-183.8 β (Trend Weight: 185.1) A dramatic drop after taking my water pill finally. I think this is probably pretty accurately where I am at. My lowest weight this round was on the 31st at 181.8 . Apparently it was a one day fluke weight that happened to be the starting weight for this round. I feel like Iβm chasing an illusion, a dream, but it was so close to the 170βs that I could almost taste it! . So I am 2 lbs up from that number. Since then Iβve survived the holiday BBQ and also my separate day of travel. I can deal with that I suppose. Iβm just dreading the two day trip next week. This is the annual trip I usually go hog wild on. And two days of sitting and driving with lack of movement doesnβt help. Itβs a huge college town upscale city. The restaurant choices are Amazing to a small town girl like me. I need to start getting a grip RIGHT NOW.

ππππ 09/06-183.4 β (Trend Weight: 184.9) I tried a new recipe last night (baked ham, cheese and pineapple sliders) that is not as low carb as I normally try to go. However, by carefully managing my day in advance, it fit into my calorie and carb allowance. Definitely on the highest end of my carbs, but otherwise macros were very good. Iβm just so proud that I managed to eat the pineapple as I donβt normally eat any fruit. Cut up into small tidbits and combined with the other ingredients and I was able to do, even enjoy it! Iβm showing a small loss today which makes me realize I can make it again as long as I always carefully plan those days. I kept seeing a similar recipe on facebook and just couldnβt take it anymore! Iβm going to try to bank up some calories for my upcoming overnight 2 day medical appointment at the University Hospital downstate Mon & Tue. It will all be primarily restaurants and so much sitting. Iβm trying to tackle it both before and after.

ππππ 09/07-182.6 β (Trend Weight β 184.7) Another compliant day yesterday as I continue to run as far away from the bully September 4th (the scale) as possible. That mean old scale jumped up several times this round into very shark-infested territory. It was primarily due to the holiday BBQ and the travel day. Thatβs behind me now and I managed to end 3 lbs down this round. There will be more travel coming up this week which includes an overnight and a ton of being stationary and sitting, sitting, sitting. I wonβt be able to manage the ingredients in my restaurant foods completely, but I can still manage the portions. I must learn to travel smarter since Iβm required to do much more of it than I like, especially this time of year until January 1st when it will slow down somewhat until Spring.

09/07-182.6 β (Trend Weight β 184.7) Another compliant day yesterday as I continue to run as far away from the bully September 4th (the scale) as possible. That mean old scale jumped up several times this round into very shark-infested territory. It was primarily due to the holiday BBQ and the travel day. Thatβs behind me now and I managed to end 3 lbs down this round. There will be more travel coming up this week which includes an overnight and a ton of being stationary and sitting, sitting, sitting. I wonβt be able to manage the ingredients in my restaurant foods completely, but I can still manage the portions. I must learn to travel smarter since Iβm required to do much more of it than I like, especially this time of year until January 1st when it will slow down somewhat until Spring.

Routine annual check-up. I hope you all will remember to get your Mamms! Lunch yesterday was on target but dinner was pasta and an ice cream treat (huge!) from the local ice cream place. My attitude was that the next two days are going to be skewed anyway so the heck with it. Not a good plan! Itβs the perfect example of letting the air out of the other 3 tires, except this time I didnβt even wait for the initial flat, I did it ahead. I tried to ride the heck out of my exercise bike last night to make up for it but then, thereβs that old saying that you canβt outrun the fork. Very true! Up one pound overnight.
