I'm Becca, 53, 5'6".
My continuing goals: Drink more than 64 oz of water, 25+ grams of fiber, 100+ grams protein, and 2 days per week gym workout along with at least one walk/jog day.
I ended August at 275.8
9/1- 275.5

9/3- 273.2

9/7- 270.4 (finally got enough water for the fiber intakeβ¦.)

9/9- 271.3 Today I did a 5k walk. My average pace was 26:29 and I did pause for traffic so I'm guessing it is closer to a 30 minute mile, but I'm still glad I did it. Now I have a baseline for progress.
9/10- 271.8
9/11- 274.3 Ooof. I know it's probably water, but still sucks.

Β I have no idea what my body is doing lately. I did a 3k brisk walk for activity.9/14-273.7 Today we hit the gym for a strength training day. I did start with treadmill for 15 minutes, 10 walking 5 jogging very slow.

Well one day of nearly eating nothing brought the weight back down . Be nice if my weight loss actually continued.

A couple of weeks ago I joined a local book club through our public library. I only had a couple of weeks to get through the book, but I managed and really enjoyed it. Tonight is the first meeting where I will meet the other members. Iβm very nervous. Meeting new people and friends is something Iβve found to be a bit difficult as Iβve gotten older. Oh, the free-spirited days of being a trustworthy child and young adult who was not so self-conscious! Trying hard to stay engaged and putting myself out there in my retirement! I sure do miss my husband who is in Heaven now.
ππππ 09/23-184.4 β (Trend Weight: 184.7) I enjoyed the new book club immensely. We were assigned a new book for the upcoming month. It is much smaller so I also checked out another book by the same author as the one I just read. It was highly recommended. I think I can handle both books. I had a few too many snacks that were offered. All sweet. I donβt think Iβll ever get over my obsession to partake in βnewβ or βfreeβ foods. It harkens back to my youth, growing up poor. At the age of 65 now, I just donβt see that it will ever feel right to pass on those foods. I guess Iβll just have to make some adjustments over the next couple of days that will smooth it all out. Just like I do when I eat at restaurants or travel. It does slow down the timetable on progress, but it doesnβt eliminate it. Iβm just not panicking about it today and that feels very healthy.

Not a good month for me. Weight up. Little exercise. Had my 4 front teeth removed yesterday and finding it hard to eat - this could work in my favour?
Hoping to exercise at least 2 days this week - still have 4 days potential so will see how I feel. My fibromyalgia has been wreaking havoc again pain wise and sleeping is not great following 4 days of being in bed.

Hi all. Next month I really need to work on a consistent exercise routine. Only exercising 3-7 times a month really isnβt enough. Itβs so hard with fibromyalgia and full time studies- Iβm always in pain and exhausted.

ππππ 09/26-183.0 β (Trend Weight: 184.4) I usually donβt weigh on Fridays but decided to go for it since a particular week is ending in another challenge Iβm in where we set weekly goals. Weighing at 6 am when I get up for DGSβs school bus is too close to my late night bed times. The weight is too heavy as my 2 am snack is still in there and nothing has digested or moved out of my system yet. My 6 am this morning was a gain after an excellent day so it didnβt make sense. It was 185.6. After the bus I lay back down and re-weighed at about 11:30. It was 183.0. Thatβs a 2.6 lb difference in the two weights! Since 183 is closer to my normal weigh time (about 2 hours later) and a number that makes me feel happier π , I will use that today and see what happens tomorrow. Somewhere in the mix I also take my once-per-week medication with a lot of water so that can complicate things too. Usually I just skip Fridayβs and avoid all the confusion and drama.

I'm Becca, 53, 5'6".
My continuing goals: Drink more than 64 oz of water, 25+ grams of fiber, 100+ grams protein, and 2 days per week gym workout along with at least one walk/jog day.

9/9- 271.3 Today I did a 5k walk. My average pace was 26:29 and I did pause for traffic so I'm guessing it is closer to a 30 minute mile, but I'm still glad I did it. Now I have a baseline for progress.

Β I have no idea what my body is doing lately. I did a 3k brisk walk for activity.9/14-273.7 Today we hit the gym for a strength training day. I did start with treadmill for 15 minutes, 10 walking 5 jogging very slow.
