    So I am on week 3 of my low carb journey and I have been noticing some really odd changes that I wanted to ask you all about...

    So here are my stats

    CW: 254.2 (14.2lb loss in a little over 2 weeks)
    Height: 5' 7"
    Calorie goal: 2000
    Average calorie consumption: 1200-1500
    Carb goal: 100g or less
    Actual carb consumption: 60-75g

    One of my favorite snacks while on this food change has been chicharrones, something I heard as a tip on a different website, but I am noticing that these as well as other foods are starting to taste WAY too salty to me. Same with sweeter foods like fruit... it seems like EVERYTHING tastes really different and more potent. Seems like more and more lately all I'm really WANTING to eat is sauteed veggies and steak lol.

    My question... are/do other people on low carb experience this? Is it cause by not enough water? Ideas?
