god invented plastic surgeons for a reason

In point of fact, god (or God, depending on whether you believe) did NOT invent plastic surgeons. Man managed to do that on his own.

I would also quote Bill Cosby here and point out that: "Man invents. God creates." At least, that's the religiously mandated socially acceptable viewpoint.

I am really surprised at the amount of people in the forums I see that talk about getting/wanting fake boobs. I'm not judging at all, it's just really interesting to me. I always thought they had a negative connotation, but it seems here to be totally okay. Maybe our society is changing, maybe it's just a colloquial (MFP) difference, or maybe it had a more negative connotation to me because of where I grew up (bible-belt).

    Any thoughts?

    My thoughts...

    Get over it.

And I  my "fake" boobs.

I think you're awesome and hope you are really happy with the results!

It was the single best decision I ever made for my self confidence. :flowerforyou:

I'm putting away for them right now! I went from a 36F 6 months ago, to a 34B now. When I lose weight, it all comes from there, and after nursing 4 babies, there isn't much left. It's like a prize for fighting the good fight! I'm only doing it for myself, I'll only go up to a C cup - so I don't think I will look much different with clothes on. I just want to be a little happier about what I see when I'm naked, just restoring the goods to factory original :) I am not ashamed that I am doing it, but my family will not understand, so I just won't tell them.

had mine done ... don't regret it for a second .

when i lost weight i lost all my boobs and had saggy lumps of skin. i would rather have voluptuous round porn star boobs then deflated birthday balloons

scars disappeared and pain go away . definitely worth every penny

Ah, another lovely individual misinterpreting my words and not reading my other posts in the thread. I have already said that I would consider getting them if I lost mine severely when I drop all the weight, so there's nothing to "get over." Have a lovely day.

I am so torn over implants. As someone who has always been flat-chested, I've asked myself what I would do if presented with the opportunity to upgrade the girls. I think breasts are one of the biggest (lol) representations of femininity, so I feel like I'm missing out on something--they are just so damn womanly and sexy! It would probably be a confidence booster if I ever did get it done, but on the other hand, you're basically mutilating your body to conform with society's beauty standard. What if little boobs were suddenly "IN" and we all wanted to look like Keira Knightley (but I mean, who already doesn't?); would I regret my new, bigger boobs? Is it worth taking the risk going under the knife just to improve what I already have? Probably not. So until then, I'll just continue to dream that I'm a late bloomer and one day I'll wake up with bountiful C cups. 27 isn't too old for a growth spurt, right?!
I got mine when I turned 30 (sick of being a AA). It was the best thing I ever did for my self esteem. I'm 70lbs heavier now and feel better about myself then I did when I was a size 6 and flat chested.

Bahaha. I'm sorry I'm not laughing at your boobs (I love boobs) the post just made it sound like your lovely lady lumps are now 70 lbs and I got a funny image in my head. But good for self-confidence. I'm up for most things that make a person more confident in themselves.

lol, YES! I had one of those bras and felt scammy, as if I were going to get with a man based on my breast size alone, take it off and leave him STUNNED at the 'gigantic' difference.

There is no such thing as fake boobs. Mine are real. Really expensive. Really beautiful, Really big, really full...if anything they are more real.

Enough with the haterade. If someone wants big perky boobs, and they have the money, that is their business.

Actually, that is correct. I still have 100% of my real boobage. And my implants are very bit a part of me. 'cept when I'm weighing myself and calculating LBM. I still have to tote them around, so I use them in my calculations for calories burned weight wise, but they are 100% INERT as far as metabolic activity goes. Heheh.
