My optimistic post from last week is going to be dampen today... I've gained weight due to horrible food choices this week and not enough working out. I hope it's 'only' water weight but I will be hitting the gym double time this week to try and get rid of it all!!

Just for fun: What are you most thankful for in your journey to health? I'm most thankful that I was able to get myself in size 12 jeans at American eagle over the weekend. It's been a while since i could fit my hips in "normal" store jeans!0 -

I am thankful for feeling physically stronger while I work on strength training. The muscle helps support my back (which has damage) and I have been able to do more things with less pain.0 -

Just for fun: What are you most thankful for in your journey to health?
I'm thankful that my body is holding up through my decade of poor choices, and that I have the knowledge to do this. Now...to actually do. My strategy (that's so far working) is to just be REALLY good about my choices for a limited time (about 6 weeks). To me, that's way more doable than 6 months of baby steps. I know I can maintain once I get there, but it feels great to clean my body out by not eating sugars, no alcohol (eek!) and no processed stuff. I'm eating clean until Christmas, and then hopefully I'll be where I want to be.0 -

Just for fun: What are you most thankful for in your journey to health?
Feeling better and having more energy. I have all but stopped drinking, eating fast food daily and just plain being miserable. I want to leave the house and be more active. Everyday I look forward to the gym and I am disappointed When I miss a day. Seeing the results makes everything worth wild. Work and Life in general is so much improved.
PS: I just started back up again from a 2 month break on. Most of my friends on here are now inactive or not very active at all anymore. I like to have an active friends list so anyone who would like another "active" friend feel free to send a request. Gonna clean my list up this weekend to only include active helpful friends.0 -

I am thankful that I can walk and swim, should I chose to do so, which I should!! especially as my long term goal is quite a bit!!

I am very thankful that my clothes are fiting better and I feel better looking at myself in the mirror. It is very hard for me to want to be with my husband when I don't feel good about how I look. It is a mental/emotional thing that I am working on to. I am also very thankful for my loving husband and his unconditional love and support to me!0 -
