Post your most recent workout

While everyone else is trying to determine to "Hug, Date or Spank", or whether they like "curvy" women, SOMEONE talk kickazz workouts with me!

Tonight was back. It went like this:

Deadlift: 3 x 5 x 315
Seated Row: 3 x 10 x 185
Shrug: 3 x 10 x 205
Lat Pulldown: 3 x 10 x 135
Bicep Curl: 3 x 12 x 80
Row Machine: 3,300 meters in 15 minutes
Treadmill Run: 4.0+ mph for 15 minutes

All in all, we were in there for about 90 minutes. When we left, we were spent.

Tell me what you did today!

My most recent was Brazil Butt Lift's High and Tight. Ouch. It's a heck of a burn. It was about a week ago (had to lay off for a while because my doc put me on temporary meds that made me dizzy and nauseous), but today is my first day of T25. So in a little bit I'll be doing Alpha Cardio!

  • I only did squats today. ~90% of my bodyweight including bar. 3x12.

Yesterday was only pushups, 5 sets of ~10 each, + core work for ~25 minutes.

You've all renewed my faith in MFP. I was beginning to wonder.

Saturday, I witnessed a Crossfit competition in Chesterfield, MO. Oh WOW! It was incredible. Fifteen minute intervals of combined deadlifts, power cleans, snatches, power-ups & burpees. I think it would be an awesome way to train. Sadly, I already belong to two gyms. If I tried to sign up at a third place my wife wouldn't be very understanding.

    But someday . . . . .

Insanity max interval circuit tonight. I will begin a p90x/insanity hybrid in a few weeks but never did insanity before so I'm doing all the workouts a few times before starting the hybrid. I love p90x but the cardio workouts are too easy now. I'll replace those with insanity. Can't wait to start!

    Today's TurboFire menu:
HIIT25 and Sculpt30 ...this combo is killer on the legs, what with all the tuck jumps and burpees in the HIIT and then she tops it off with all the squats during Sculpt ... fun times

Didn't train today, too busy recovering from a powerlifting meet I competed in yesterday. Yesterday resulted in 180 max squat, 95 max bench, and 280 max deadlift. Planning to hit it hard starting Thursday though.

35 minute mile Freestyle in the pool. Not my best time, but I did shave off nearly 5 minutes due to my competitive nature and the swimmer in the lane next to me!

Did some curls and overhead press, tricep extensions, nothing special there.

Congratulations on a successful meet! I always considered mine a success if I didn't "bomb out" by missing all 3 of one lift. Those are some pretty impressive numbers, too.
