Christmas Eve will be the day of gluttony for me, and yes, I will be logging it. It may not be entirely accurate because I will end up having to guess at a lot of things, but I will do the best I can.

I won't be logging. Actually...my logging has been sparse since Thanksgiving.

    NOT because I'm being lazy.

But because MY personal goal was to maintain through the Holidays.

Since I usually gain 5-7 lbs during this time every year I figure if I maintain until January 2nd then I'm already ahead.

I've had already had 7 Holiday events...with 6 more to go.

I've been able to enjoy myself and test the new trick I've learned. If I'm not hungry I don't eat! :) (Kicking emo eating is kind of a big deal for me.)

Off to eat another piece of peanut butter fudge. ;)

I am not going to be obsessive about things next week, but I will most likely log my food still.

Why wouldn't I? Whether I log it or not the calories have entered my body, I'm better off with an accurate record so I can plan my workouts over the holidays accordingly.

I don't use the holidays as an excuse to eat a pile of food, though.

Excuse the rest of us while we have a good time.

Christmas isn't a huge food day for my family. Apparently I am missing out!

Whether I'm over or under, I'll log whatever I eat. Although I won't be eating sweets, I think.

If I go over, though, there's an elliptical downstairs and five paths I walk that I'm sure my four dogs would loves to explore that day. I can't let good food that only comes during the holidays go to waste! But I learned over Thanksgiving, if I'm full, leave the table!

Yup, logging is a daily habit, and even if it's mostly guesswork, I'll still do my best to log. If nothing else, have to make sure I'm getting enough protein in addition to all the goodies! :drinker:

I'm not.... I don't plan on measuring one thing.... its the one day a year that you get to eat as much as you want with your family guilt free.

Yes, I will. I will also eat and drink what I want to and log it as accurately as I can. The body keeps its own count either way.

Whatever my count ends up at, I will not beat myself up over it and I will not try to 'work it off' with anything over my normal workout plan. It's only one day, after all!
