Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Didn't set any
What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? hum?
What would I have done differently? nothing - my husband is still in the hospital with pneumonia and bladder infection. Not so concerned with tracking the past couple of days...
What is today's personal goals? check in, start new winter check in and start the process for my colonoscopy tomorrow. UGH!!!

    Oh, Goldk! Best of luck getting thru the Colonoscopy Prep... I am supposed to have one, but don't wanna! - not even scheduled yet.

    Thanks for starting the new Winter thread. When you can, I hope you will let us know the date of the final "Winter" check in. I will set my goal at that time. My official start weight for the Winter Thread is 140 pounds. If I even get into the 130s at all and maintain that during this Winter thread... that will be lowest that I've weighed in a few years!!! So, just 1 pound of loss and being maintained will be a huge milestone for me!

    I really appreciate these Daily Check-in threads. Thank you so very much for doing them. Although, I did not meet my goal, I lost 5 pounds in the Fall Daily Check In. You and all who participate have helped me so much. 5 pounds is a big loss for me!

    Is your husband starting to show any improvement? w, if I would only stick to my plan & quit binging!!!

    My will power is going to the dogs. Back into my old routine of bad habits. I just want to get
    through the holidays so I can focus on losing weight again.

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? It was a crazy day but I did get in 30 min of biking
    What would I have done differently? Stayed on track and not had the nuts.
    What are today's personal goals? Make healthy choices and drink plenty of water, stay on track and focus.

    Tues - Snow shoveling - 60 min

    Colonoscopy went well. No polyps. All clear. Taking it easy today. Husband is still in the hospital. They are adding gastrointestinal in fection in addition to bladder infection and pneumonia. I think the pneumonia is getting better but the stomach issues are not improving. The things a man will do to get out of christmas shopping...lol

    I'm not sure what this check-in thing is, but I feel like I want to fill out this form, so i'm just going to do it ;)

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? cleaned the kitchen!
    What would I have done differently? had just the dark chocolate instead of dark chocolate covered in chocolate paste (I felt horrible after, haha)
    What is today's personal goals? Take a really long walk and keep to my planning (even though it is over my calorie goal)

  • Hello! I kind of want to introduce myself and get involved with a support and accountability group. I am 26 years old and I just got engaged in November. I have been working out and would like to get involved. I have lost 2 pant sizes so far, but have only lost 3 pounds. I have gained muscle and toned up though.

    I am doing a mixture of Turbo Fire, Focus T25, P90x, and Cathe Kick Max work outs. I am so proud of myself for starting working out and sticking with it!!! I never had the motivation until now, but working out has helped me become more confident and happy with myself.

    I am so excited to see future results and see how far I can push myself!!

    Hey all! I'm back and I'd better STAY back! Christmas is over.........a new year is starting......starting my winter vacation in about a week and will be away from the routine so it's a good time to focus on this weight lost journey again. I gained about half of what I lost this summer and I REALLY don't want to go in the wrong direction but need to get motivated again. I reset my weight to what I am now and started logging my meals again today and I will do my best to get in here every day! It worked before...........it can work again! Hope all is well with all of you!

    Did you stay within your nutritional goals? No...this is where I struggle most!!
    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? My goal was to work out....I did, but was really struggling to do anything. I was so tired and sluggish...I was really having a hard time. But I pushed half way through T25 and then quit. I was even shaking.
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? I finished painting my ceramic that I am giving to my parents this weekend for Christmas!
    What would I have done differently? Had a salad instead of Chinese!! :ohwell:
    What is today's personal goals? My goal is to eat healthy tonight while on the road to Kansas...5 hours worth of driving...

    Fri - Did not have the energy this morning; I have a sinus infection. And also an infected spider bite on my arm. :grumble:
    Sat - I might try to do P90x ARX, but will be spending a lot of time with my family and we have 2 family gatherings on Saturday so not sure if I will have time.

    Next week will be better!!! I am going to makre sure of it!! I want to look awesome on my wedding day!

    I am not sure how a daily check in will work with my job schedule when all my jobs start back after the New Year but I am going to try and see how it goes. I will be keeping better track of things one way or another. I think I will start a new tracking chart for the new year. For now I just have 1 job going but lots to do with that. The celebrating is slowing down as well. I am hoping to establish a healthy schedule before things start to ramp up again.

    GoldK I hope your husband is better soon if not already and thanks for starting this up for the winter.

    Hello ladies,

    Husband came home on the 27th. Very weak and just eating very little...canned pears, apple sauce... Glad he is home!! Needed the ymca today in the worst way. Spent 50 mins on the elliptical. Feel great now!!! Amazing how that works. It's just been so crazy! My daughters bday was the 27th, party yesterday (at my moms house), trampoline park with her friends tomorrow, 2nd wedding anniversary on the 31st. Glad I'm on vacation...lol Maintaining my current weight so i'm ok with this for now. I hope everyone is doing well!!

    Goldk - I'm glad your husband is home, I hope he keeps doing better. I know exactly what you mean about it feeling good to get back to the Y ... it seems like my last 2 weeks have been absolutely crazy, and not done yet ... but I get to the Y whenever I can and I feel sane again.
    I didn't have the best willpower over Christmas, cookies really got to me - but other than the cookies I did really well and saw some small losses on the scale - so super happy with that. New Year's Eve tomorrow to deal with, and then I go to New York this weekend with my daughter for 4 days! I think I will have a hard time there with food. I'm excited to go, but also kind of looking forward to after the trip when things can get back to my normal routine.

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? made quiche and protein shakes for the next few days
    What would I have done differently? I ate too many carbs - hot chocolate, and some crackers, and ate too late

    It was great to read all of the updates from everybody! Wishing you all good health and happy hearts in the new year. We head to Florida for 6 - 8 weeks on Sunday so will be away from the "busyness" and routine and will be doing a lot more walking and relaxing so should have no excuse to not get healthier!

    Hi Everyone! My ankle surgery went well last month, and I have been cleared by physical therapy to get back on the stationary bike (gradually). I also hope to slowly build up time on walks. I hated not exercising (though I did some arm stretching and sit-ups, not enough to log), and I'm glad to be back on the check-in!

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? First five minutes on the stationary bike since surgery
    What would I have done differently? More fruits and veggies
    What are today's personal goals? Go light on the treats in the break room at work (YES, they are STILL there!!!) and do some time on the stationary bike at PT today

    My husband and I started the South Beach Program today. I went today and got all the
    groceries even if it was 10F and freezing. The first two weeks is like a detox and will try
    to calculate food.
