    Goldk - I'm glad your husband is home, I hope he keeps doing better. I know exactly what you mean about it feeling good to get back to the Y ... it seems like my last 2 weeks have been absolutely crazy, and not done yet ... but I get to the Y whenever I can and I feel sane again.
    I didn't have the best willpower over Christmas, cookies really got to me - but other than the cookies I did really well and saw some small losses on the scale - so super happy with that. New Year's Eve tomorrow to deal with, and then I go to New York this weekend with my daughter for 4 days! I think I will have a hard time there with food. I'm excited to go, but also kind of looking forward to after the trip when things can get back to my normal routine.

    Did you stay within your nutritional goals? I didn't track, but I think I did ok.
    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? didn't set one
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? made quiche and protein shakes for the next few days
    What would I have done differently? I ate too many carbs - hot chocolate, and some crackers, and ate too late
    What is today's personal goals? stay under in calories & already did step and body pump at the Y


    Sun- rest day
    Mon - 45 min step & 30 min body pump
    Tues - 60 min step
    Wed - rest
    Thurs - 60 min step & 30 min body pump
    Fri - 60 min step
    Sat - On my way to New York! probably get in quite a bit of walking once we get there

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? I did my food prep for the week
    What would I have done differently? bought more fruit when I got groceries, rather than cheese curls
    What is today's personal goals? check in, move more, get up earlier

    It was great to read all of the updates from everybody! Wishing you all good health and happy hearts in the new year. We head to Florida for 6 - 8 weeks on Sunday so will be away from the "busyness" and routine and will be doing a lot more walking and relaxing so should have no excuse to not get healthier!

    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Did not set any still on holiday time.
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Just relaxed and enjoyed the last of the holidays.
    What would I have done differently? Nothing yet.
    What are today's personal goals? Drink lots of water, take down Christmas tree and relax.

    My current goal is to get back to where I was before I started working so much.

    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? sor of
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? went shopping so I could cook a healthy meal today and we made dinner at home.
    What would I have done differently? gotten exercise.
    What is today's personal goals? check in, go for a walk finally. Drink more water today.

    Hi Everyone! My ankle surgery went well last month, and I have been cleared by physical therapy to get back on the stationary bike (gradually). I also hope to slowly build up time on walks. I hated not exercising (though I did some arm stretching and sit-ups, not enough to log), and I'm glad to be back on the check-in!

    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Yes
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? First five minutes on the stationary bike since surgery
    What would I have done differently? More fruits and veggies
    What are today's personal goals? Go light on the treats in the break room at work (YES, they are STILL there!!!) and do some time on the stationary bike at PT today

    Goal weight at the end of Winter check-in (3/19?)- 155 (my ultimate goal)

    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? celebrated my FIL's 77th birthday.
    What would I have done differently? nothing
    What is today's personal goals? check in and shovel (getting 8-10 inches). We have a brand new snow blower in the garage. I told my husband not to worry about it. I will shovel :-) Exercise - right?

    My husband and I started the South Beach Program today. I went today and got all the
    groceries even if it was 10F and freezing. The first two weeks is like a detox and will try
    to calculate food.

    Did I reach yesterday's personal goal? Probably not
    What did I do yesterday that I am proud of? Sent emails and wished everyone a Happy New Year
    What would I have done differently? Nothing
    What are today's personal goals? Drink lots of water, start back to exercising, change ticker back
    and starting again.

    What are today's personal goals? Attempt a 1/2 mile walk on my injured ankle (it should be okay...I hope! I don't have a choice because I have to take the bus home tonight)

    Glad you got through the surgery sunshyncatra. Well we are now empty nesters until Spring Break. It was fun while it lasted but probably good things will settle down a bit before I begin my 4 job schedule again.

    What would I have done differently? we didn't realize how many french fried onions came with our dinner but we didn't eat them all.
    What is today's personal goals? check in, lots of shopping/cleaning and walk if steps are not hight enough. Drink more water today.
