I got the museum gig! I'm pretty excited!5

I've been on evenings/nights for the most part for the last 12 years. I got put on dayshift this week for a training class. Talk about completely screwing up my world. I forgot how much I hate working days.0

@alleeehill2 - Since I go to school during the day and work overnights, I log midnight-to-midnight, just because it's simpler to keep track.0

Hope my questions make sense.
I log mine from midnight to midnight. I also renamed my meals and changed them to 4 hour periods. 12a-4a, 4a-8a and so on. Made it much easier when I was working nights. Now I work days but it's 6a-6p so I don't typically eat my meals when everyone else does.jennifer_417 wrote: »I got the museum gig! I'm pretty excited!
WOOHOO!!!!
My first world problem of the day; MFP and my fitbit have quit speaking to each other. I'm getting zero calories for the buttload of steps I've been taking the last several days. And I've just upped my weight loss to 2lbs a week so my calories of dropped; I need every extra calorie I can get!

Awesome good to know. That's how I was doing everything too. thank you.0

@alleehill2 - I usually try and train before going to work so I'm not training tired, but sometimes I just can't get it in before work. Those days I train on my lunch time at work.1

It's pretty cool to be alone in an art museum, even if I can't access most of the exhibits!1

So... What's everyones weather doing? Here in Erie it is snowing and wind blowing. Lots of snow drifts. The city FINALLY got to plowing. You would think living in PA that they would of been prepared! Just like in January when we got our first big snow. They for some reason were not prepping the roads before it hit. I don't understand government.0
-
It snowed for a decent part of the day today, but it thankfully wasn't cold enough for it to stick. I just hope we don't get any ice overnight. Bleck.0

Some parts are pretty icy here. Especially on side roads. Like they don't want to use salt for us.0

I log midnight to midnight as well. When I wake up I eat and log it as Lunch. Dinner is my last meal before midnight. Breakfast is my post workout protein which is around 2am.1 -
Can I just say that I've been cutting back on my carbs and sugar intake (not so much on purpose, more bc I cut back on my calories and it just kinda happened that way lol) and I'm flipping tired? I'm not doing anything close to low carb but just cutting back is kicking my @ss.0

This seems to be the time of day that I most vividly start fantasizing about food. Donuts, burgers, steak, pizza. What would you eat right if anything you chose was calorie-free?0

Still alive! I think I'm on the upswing with this flu. I'm feeling almost human again.0

@jennifer_417 , so true!!! Ive been ignored here lately, I thought I graduated high school.
@bethanie0825 I feel your pain. I did a 10-day sugar detox because we were living on sugar and carbs. It was rough but we learned lots and tasted lots of new foods. However I don't care what you say, just because it looks like rice, does not mean it is rice. The cauliflower rice was very yummy, but was indeed cauliflower.1 -
I,ve just put this up all over work lol1

Hi guys! Back from 35th anniversary hot springs vacation. Stayed at a gorgeous log suite with full kitchen and got way too amazing breakfast every day from the b&b owners. I still have to download photos and do up my TripAdvisor reviews. It poured with rain the whole time but that's okay when you are snuggled inside under the duvet with candlelight or out in the snowy surroundings in the 40C hot spring. Too much single malt whiskey and yummy food including flourless dark chocolate torte with fresh blackberries comped by the restaurant means I MUST buckle down and lose the pudge! I have been lazy about my food plan for a while now but it's only two months to Victoria Day long weekend and the official start to swimsuit weather.
Welcome to the newbies.
I log my 'day' starting with a mealtime called 'Pre 2pm' (when I try not to eat), my breakfast is 'Between 2 & 6 pm', and dinner as last meal, with 'Snacks' covering my last eating period usually around midnight to 1 am. I try to intermittently fast for at least 14-16 hrs over my sleep period. I try to do my workouts/ sports in the mid afternoon just after I wake up. Sleep is from 5 am to 1 (if I can.)1 -
Even if I combine both my mairrages I don't have 35 years. Congratulations.
Finally back on the bike after the flu. Easy zone 1 spine for 30 minutes. It ain't much but it's a start.1 -
Back at 'er, sufferlandrian! Glad your first bike ride went well...0

It was, although it would have been a bit nicer if it wasn't pouring with rain... we thought about taking our snowshoes or our x-c skis, as there was enough snow, but too yucky in the rain.0 -
Snowshoes maybe, but I hate XC skiing in the rain.0
-
I hate anything in the rain, I used to live on the 'Wet Coast' (Vancouver area) and that's why we moved.... I've had enough recreation in the rain to last me a lifetime.0
-
As long as it's warm, I actually love the rain, as long as I can be inside. Cold rain is the worst, though!0
