YAY Angela Congrats on the BABY!!!

I joined this last month I have been on Clomiphene this is my 4 month on it. Been on Metformin all year. I have lost 32 pounds this year 42 in all and still not pregnant. Hoping I can get advice for all you ladies during trying to conceive and if I get pregnant.

Congrats to all of you that are expecting or already had their babies!!!

I can't wait until it's my turn I've had so many nieces and nephews born since I've been trying to conceive that it makes me feel bad but on the other hand happy to be an Aunt.

Okay - so I'm having a day of reflection - this time next year it could be me having the baby, and DH and I are very excited about that. It seemed to have gone by so quickly for Angela, and last night I dreamt about babies, babies, babies. Oh I can't wait!

I completely know what you mean!! I had a dreams all night about being preggo and I had one very real feeling dream that i had a babygirl and she had a TON of curly FIREY red hair (no one in mine nor my husband's family has red hair...strange) but she was beautiful and it made me sad when i realized it was only a dream...i need to go visit a friend with a baby just to get out some of this baby fever out...although it is clearl it will not break until i get a BFP.....

Weight gain: So I have the app on my phone for WTEWYE and it said yesterday that I should only be at 16 lbs weight gain if I was told to gain btwn 25-35 lbs. This worries me! I know I should consult my doctor but he says I'm target - should I attempt to loose the weight and get back to only 16 lbs? My husband says no, just try and cut back. Thoughts? FYI - I'm at the half way point so I still have more gaining to do.

I went to the dentist this morning - OUCH!

How much have you gained? It is never a good idea to try to loose weight while pregnant. I do know that you gain the most of your weight in the last trimester when the baby grows about 1/2 lb a week. You should try eating more fruits and veggies, maybe you'll be full on less calories then.

I've gained 23 lbs total. I wasn't trying to loose before getting pregnant. I was at my goal weight. I think it may be the late night ice cream and brownies....?!?:blushing:

I wouldn't worry too much about 23 lbs, everybody is different. With my last pregnancy I gained 43 lbs and it was gone within 6 weeks. They just make a recommendation so if your doctor says its fine than its fine. If you get too out of control they will let you know, trust me... I gained 130 with my first (mostly becaused I had pre-eclampsia and preterm labor). I'm just not hungry with this one so I haven't gained anything yet. I would watch the brownies and ice cream though, do induldge but pick one or the other. I really enjoy skinny cow ice cream sandwhiches, they're only like 140 cals and taste super yummy! For brownies you can look online for a low cal recipe because otherwise they have a lot of calories. You don't want to eat too much sugar anyhow because of GD

I think the key with weight while pregnant is not to worry about what the number says, but what you put in your body. J\ust make a few small adjustments to what you are doing to incorporate more fruits and vegies and you will be fine. Low cal brownies or black bean brownies with frozen yogurt would be a start, then you could have a banana with chocolate frozen yogurt. It is the little things that make a difference. Just remember that you are nourishing the growing being inside of you with everything you put in your mouth. I need to really remember that!!

    Hi Everyone!

This is a great post, thanks!

Me and my husband have been trying now for a little over a year...we have run into some problems and so my husband has been to a specialist , actually we had to go yesterday. So there may be an issue there, but with surgry the dr. is hopefull that things might start happening for us.

I have a son from a previous relationship, he's 9 now. But me and my husband despertaly want more kids, so we are praying that it will happen soon.

I am trying to lose a few pounds, I have 8 more pounds until I hit my goal weight and I'm also wanting to get more in shape and tone up. With my last pregnancy I was in really good shape ( I was a lot younger too! lol) but I did gain a lot of weight, 50lbs...but I had no trouble getting it off plus more due to working out and being in good shape before hand. I also had pretty much a perfect pregnancy. So the past 4 years or so I have put on about 20lbs and now I would like to really get in the best shape I can, because I know now from previous experience that it helps so much with getting the weight off after you have your baby....and of course your giving your baby such a healthier home to grow in!

So, I just wanted to say 'hi' and introduce myself...and I wish everyone luck with your baby seeking adventures!

I think I have left the world of nausea (Thank the Lord!) but have entered the realm of pregnancy headaches :ohwell: Yesterday and today I've had horrible ones! I'm wearing a lotion that is just driving me crazy and making it worse! I've washed my hands so many times but the smell just won't go away! I  all these horomones!! lol

I won't be keeping up with the posts much this weekend...my brother is getting married  I will be leaving tonight and won't be back until Sunday, so I hope you ladies have a wonderful weekend!

I had a lady today at work say "How ya feeling? Your hips are getting bigger!!!" COME ON! Pregnant or not, no woman likes to hear that!! Sheesh! :grumble: I know it's probably true, but that just wasn't the first thing I wanted to hear this morning, LOL

Some people just don't understand tact, do they? I have been feeling very "fat" but I really hope no one will tell me that! On a good note my weight has been stable for the last month on my scale. We will see how it goes at my appointment tomorrow. My nausea is significantly better for the most part. I only feel sick if I am hungry or with smells. I baby sat my nephew yesterday and he had a perfume like smell--probably from his mom that really got to me. It is funny how smells really make a difference! It is nice to be feeling human again. Now to just start back to everything I should have been doing! (cleaning house, laundry...)

    Have a great day!

It was nice to have an excuse not to do all those things as much....laundry, cleaning, cooking.....but I guess it's back to reality!

Mwilson: I agree...lots of people lack tact.

I was a month away from my wedding and at the jeweler's to pick up my wedding band. One of the employees there (who had probably seen me about 5 times before this incident) asked me, "So, how many months along are you?" I thought I must have misheard her, so I said, "Excuse me?" She repeated and I snapped back, "UH, I'm NOT pregnant." :explode: I guess in a slight attempt to justify the situation, she's an older woman and I was wearing an empire-waisted sundress that didn't exactly hug my figure. Regardless, I don't think I'd ever ask a stranger about their pregnancy. Even if they looked like they were about to pop. You just never know, and in the rare instance you might be mistaken, you just look like the world's biggest jerk.

Isn't that what every bride-to-be wants to get...a pregnancy question a month away from her wedding when she's (duh) not even pregnant!!!

Funny enough, I'm wearing that sundress today. It's the first time I've worn it since that dumb lady went running her mouth. At least if someone asks me that same stupid question, it'll be SLIGHTLY less insulting since I still don't really look pregnant

I think I might be with you on the nausea passing, too. I just had four days in a row of feeling pretty good. I was able to eat somewhat normal meals and had enough energy to be out and about, running my errands and walking the dogs. Don't worry, in the third trimester, you can have your excuses to get your husband to swoop in to your rescue again.

Welcome rcrews77! Praying for you and Stacy, to be blessed with a pregnancy soon. And you other ladies lurking about.

So glad you ladies are finally getting over the 1st trimester yuckies. I know the DAY I hit 12 weeks I was actually hungry, nausea had subsided, I could stay awake and alert all day. But I hear it only comes back with a quickness in the 3rd trimester - give me a few more weeks and I'll be whining again.

I cant say my m/s is gone yet, but I think I am getting closer. I have had a few good days here and there, so I think there are more comming!!!! I actually am having a problem when I eat though. If I eat more than about 5 bites of anything, I get this horrible pain in my stomach for the next few hours. It is so painful I want to cry. Then comes the "running to the bathroom" to "let it out":blushing: Sorry it is so graphic, but that continues for another hour or two. So, today I have been just trying to eat a few bites of something every half an hour...but holey moley...not fun!

Deb you and me both, I feel like fatty mcfatter. I think my cellulite is getting worse, my muffin is horrendous and I my face is so round. But I'm trying to not let it bother me too much. I'm doing what I can to keep feeling pretty. Glad the nausea is getting better.

Yay Angela! I really wanna check out her FB now.

I wanted to ask all you mommas to be who have experienced getting PG....I know it's kinda gross....but did you experience any unusual discharge when you conceived? Thanks!
