I love metal, from 80's hair metal to death. I's all good. These days I'm in to Volbeat big time, nice change from the regular metal!.

I think the novelty would wear off pretty quickly. It's pitch black outside and hammering down. Metal or no metal, it's mostly dull.

    Has anyone mentioned My Ruin?

Oh I just remembered my user name is a Sepultura song!

Gojira and Slayer! Typically shows with headliners as large as those have seated areas which I just can't cope with. Sitting.. at a concert?

    Nightwish
    Hammerfall
    Alice Cooper
    Amon Amarth
    Arkona
    Battlelore
    Avenged Sevenfold
    Bullet for my Valentine
    Disturbed
    DragonForce
    Eluveitie
    Epica
    original Evanescence
    Five Finger Death Punch
    Heidevolk
    old Killswitch Engage
    Lacuna Coil
    Volbeat
    Marilyn Manson
    Metallica
    Motley Crew
    Mudvayne
    Pantera
    Powerwolf
    Rammstien
    Rob Zombie
    Skiltron
    Slayer
    TYR
Winds of Plague-Refined In the Fire

That's awesome that your buddy is in Maylene. Caution Dangerous Curves Ahead was the first song my metal band in college played together. Great southern metal. Also in a similar genre: Everytime I Die, Once Nothing, and the first album from Memphis Mayfire.

Hi everyone, new to the community - I'm Black Dahlia. I'm very fond of 80s metal. Who said 'hair metal' ever went out of style! *LOL*
