    I'm trying to stick to 1300 cal/day and exercise daily. So far last week, I have managed to lose my vacation weight. It's been a good week. However I splurged a bit over the weekend, so gained a bit back. It's all about balance.

    So for the month of February I am hoping to lose more than 5lbs. I have to buy a wedding dress in March (wedding in October) and I want to be as small as I can before ordering a size :)

    I had an extremely bad weekend and now it is Monday. Time to refocus and get back on track - I'm so happy I have this group to remind me of where I am, where I've been, and where I need to be by the end of February!

    You are doing fantastic! Don't be too discouraged - you dropped a ton of weight 2 weeks in a row which means that your body needed time to adjust. Stick with it! :-)

    Sorry this week's update is a bit late! Had my dad's birthday on the weekend and ate way too much Chinese food, which left me super bloated, so I was just giving that a couple of days to pass. Not a big loss this week, but it's all in the right direction. The weather hasn't been so hot this week, so last night I started c25k again :) This time, I'm sticking to it. Even if I need to repeat some weeks, I am not giving up this time.

    This is the result I have been anxiously anticipating as I have been consistent with my eating, sleep, water, exercise. I lose slowly so this is huge for me.

    Those who are struggling please don’t give up. Stay the course: clean lean eating, regular exercise, drink lots of water, and get your beauty rest! Good things will happen, be patient & you’ll get there. I understand your frustrations & disappointments as I have them, too.

    Total weight lost: 1.4 Slow & Steady, Slow & Steady. BUT I DON"T WANT SLOW!!! LOL:laugh:
    Went with my daughter to Jackson, MS for Treble Song Performance last weekend and walked my tail off. HA So many stairs! Had a ball doing it. Only took the elevator twice, once when we checked into hotel with my luggage (when we checked out carried it out in 3 trips and walked down the stairs), and once when we went to pick up the girls because the stairs were blocked, (we walked back down though). I was really surprised with eating out I had lost. I tried to make good choices and I guess with all the walking it worked out. I wish I had stairs somewhere here that I could jog up and down. Mississippi College had stairs everywhere, and the school is on an incline everywhere you walk too.

    I've rediscovered and old favourite salad, and tried coconut water for the first time! Delish :)

    Day 2 of c25k kicked my butt a bit, but I expect it needs kicking ;)

    Today I'm actually 131.2, for a total of 6.2 lbs this month. My secret, 17 day diet along with the Insanity workout program.
    What I would do next time... do phase 1 of the diet prior to insanity so I would be starting the INSANE workouts on phase 2 with a few more healthy carbs. But I feel amazing and can't wait to post my 60 day photos. My flab is turning to fl-abs!

    Total weight lost: 6.4 pounds! Which is funny because while I upped my calorie deficit from 500 to 750 last week, I've been slacking on working out. However I've also been stressed/dealing with my depression for the past week and I'm sure that did some of the work. Hopefully it doesn't jump back up next week!

    I am going down in body fat??? Hard to believe esp since that matters a lot more to me than a number on the scale. I celebrated my birthday this past weekend so the sugars and fats added up. I wasn't that active either. Today I went to the gym and walked 20 min and biked 20 min. Tomorrow I will go again and do cardio 60 and weights 30. I am so tired of making the same mistakes. I will persevere!

    Update: I recalibrated my scale and the fat percentage is truly not correct as I have not lost that much fat. However the weight measure is correct. Ok, I feel motivated to work harder. I upped my pace walking at the gym :)
