I just found some old measurements of mine!! Along with the last 25lbs, I've lost 3in in my waist and 2.5in in my hips! Wow!!!
(Luckily I haven't lost any in my boobs yet...thank goodness! I've got just enough  )
Hehe, that's great, no boobie lost here either, thank god although my bra size has gone from a 36 to a 30....no cup change though....yayeee! My hubby's lovin it too...he's a boob man, lol.
Lucky for me, my guys more into the booty.....that I have pleeeenty of. :laugh:0 -
I was just wondering how supportive everyone's other halves are of their weight loss?
My boyfriend has just come in to the room with a cup of milkshake he made with Carte D'or ice cream for me to try, and in the last week has made me go to kfc and mcdonalds and sit there while he eats... not fair :grumble:
He isn't purposely trying to sabotage me, though he does have some kind of mental block about healthy food. I made a veggie chilli which he absolutely loved, then after I told him how healthy it was he's started complaining when I say I'm making it. Same with a spinach and ricotta lasagne I make, he loved it till he found out how low in calories it was. Yet he still goes to kfc all the time, even though he always says it wasn't even nice afterwards, like he thinks he SHOULD enjoy it because it's bad for him. Strange.
Have to admit, I was well behaved at kfc and mcdonalds (it doesn't even smell nice anymore) but I had a taste of the milkshake. I've got to be a bit naughty sometimes0 -
My bf's supportive because he really wants to see me feel good about myself. He tells me I have no reason to be self-concious or upset about how I look. He does however like to be a guy and stand in front of me chugging soda, like 'OMG this is soooo good' when he' knows I'm trying not to drink it. I think it's just a guy thing.
As far as not eating things because it's 'healthy'. I used to be like that. I had a thing against healthy foods because I viewed it as a punishment. We were always rewarded with food growing up. If you got straight A's, dad would take you to Denny's for breakfast. There were always cookie, candy and ice cream treats at night before bed. You get the idea. So when my dad got remarried and everything went to organic and portioned, I felt like I was being punished. Like, what did I do wrong? Why can't I have ice cream or chips? It took a long time for me to retrain my brain, and I still struggle with it. I'm not sure if that's anything like what he's going through. He might just have a 'I don't need to eat healthy, I just want to eat what tastes good' attitude. Lol! Beats me! :laugh:0 -
I'm fortunate that my boyfriend lives a healthy lifestyle and works out continually. It was funny the day we moved my daughter was so surprised that he actually ate McDonalds. She had never seen him eat any kind of fast food, I think that was the last time as well (two years ago).
When I made the change to a healthier lifestyle he was so supportive and I think relieved. He made it quite clear that he loved me the way I was.
He is also a fabulous cook and that has made me enjoy cooking. We do not buy any packaged or processed foods, everything is homemade.

Hello gorgeous ladies,
Thanks for the links to those websites - I'm gonna spend some serious time drooling over those dresses!
My boyfriend is very supportive - he will normally eat whatever I eat, just a whole lot more of it!! It's incredible how much he eats and how skinny he stays! He's a pretty good cook so now he's become quite careful of what he cooks for me and tries to make it healthy. We do have the occasional splurge though!!
Feeling quite a bit better today - the nausea and shortness of breath disappeared yesterday and replaced itself with horrible joint pain - everywhere. Literally everywhere. The worst hit seem to be my hands, neck and hips and last night and this morning I could hardly use my hands. Seems to be ebbing away though - I can type at least!! The doctor said it should ease off and disappear in a few days. Lucky because I have to be moving house on Monday and there is SO much packing to do!! Because of feeling unwell I haven't exercised the last few days so not so sure how well the next weigh in will go...Ah well, positive thoughts!!
Stay gorgeous all of you

Awwww my bf brought me lunch at work today. Grilled chicken sandwich...yum!!0

Great job everyone!!! Keep up the good work!!0

Well I'm finally starting to feel better!
3 days straight with feeling crappy w/ a mini cold I had but I still worked out all three days - I just had a low cal burn than usually.
Today though I decided to sleep in so I had 3 workouts to complete. I worked out from 2:30pm to 4:45pm and I still have so much more energy LOL.
Going to Bingo tonight so I hope it rubs off and brings me luck!
After I did my Hip Hop Abs - The mailman came and dropped of my box from beachbody - - - - it was my Insanity shirt!!!! Omg that was such a energy boost! I ripped open that box and put on my shirt ASAP!
IT FELT AMAZING TO WEAR THE SHIRT!!!!! Not too many are up to the Insanity challenge or can complete it. I was out of shape and weighed 175 but I did it and this shirt shows everyone the hard work I put in for 63 days!!!!
Than on to my Brazil Butt Lift DVD's - I happen to fall under the combination butt type and of course that workout plan has you doing 2 dvds a day LOL
So I want to spread my energy to everyone one else!!! If you haven't worked out yet put on some workout clothes that make you feel good, look at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself "I'm about to work you out GOOD!!" (while doing some poses lol) and GO FOR IT!!! Bring on that sweat!!!0 -
Love the website. Dresses are totall hot. Something about a tight fitting pencil skirt makes me wanna get to the gym!! Also read some of the blog that was recommended. Love her! How motivating and fun!!
Hoping everyone is doing well with eating and exercising. Something about the rain and comfy sweats makes me just wanna stay on the couch but I'm 236 cals over my 1200 cal limit so I HAVE to hit the gym!! Damn you cheap little caesar pizzas!!0 -
I see the address was edited so here it is again, just leave out the space between the b and the i

Evening ladies! :flowerforyou:
Cina04...what a very inspirational post...It's 23:41 here and I want to get my running gear on! :flowerforyou:
Had a great day in all honesty...we went out for a meal to our local restaurant and I ate like a PIG...but, 5 months ago...I know I culd have eaten a first course and desert twice over...I was full after a few mouth fulls of the meal but continued to finish it...it tasted darn good!
I love this thread and I think EVERY member of the pin up thread should put a pin up pic in their ticker! (try saying that after a few bevvies lol)...
Another thing, my boyfriends divorce is finally in the final stages...we've been together for 6 years but didn't feel the need to "seek" out a divorce....although now, we have set a date for the wedding next year, we managed to get the ball rolling a few months back. Isn't it strange? We have a mortgage together, a little dog and we share everything, but I have always been concerned that he would go back to his missus...even after 6 years together...finally we are getting closure :flowerforyou:
He said to me today "12 months ago, I used to eye you up all the time, because to me you were sexy and gorgeous, but now, you are feeling so good about yourself... find you a million times more gorgeous and I never knew that was possible"...
Nooooo, he wasn't drunk  I think my self esteem has gone up ten fold and It's oozing out of me...all thanks to this website! He supports me completely but keeps telling me he doesnt want me to get too skinny...I am many moons away from that...and I will always keep my curves!
Woweee...sorry about the long post...looks like the 2 glasses of wine I had have made me dribble on lol
I look forward to becoming a life long member of this thread...i:flowerforyou: :flowerforyou:
Stay happy :flowerforyou:0 -

That's the same attitude my boyfriend has. He's fully supportive but finds me sexy the way I am now. It's the new found confidence in myself that's making me more attractive in his eyes. He HATES it when he goes to put his arm around my waist or touch me and I say 'Ewwww gross don't touch me there, it's jiggly!'. Hahahaha0 -
I just got done my interval run/walks with my bf again!! This time we did 2.4mi, last time we only did 1.7. Whoohoo!! And in the same amount of time too! So either I ran more of it this time, or a ran/walked faster! Either way, I'm happy!!
Now that I'm cutting out all soda, I was trying to find something other than water to have here or there. I bought V8 fusion today, the Light one, Peach Mango. It's goood!!!! And for 50calories a cup, I'm happy.
Oh, I also sliced up a banana and laid the slices flat in a baggie and froze them. Makes a yummy cold snack. I can definitely use that in this Texas heat! Kinda gives it the texture of ice cream but it's a healthy banana!
Okay, that's enough outta me for tonight.:flowerforyou:0 -
Not having a good week... Monday was my killer migraine. And now I have a bad cold. I'm not counting calories because I'm eating what goes down my sore throat easiest... ugh I may make an attempt at going to zumba today at 4 after work... We'll see how I feel. I hate being sick. It makes me sad. Scale is still showing lower than Monday tho... so that's good I guess.
PLUS! I had requested saturday off from my second job for plans with a friend. But I got scheduled anyway... now I may be too sick to work... and they're gonna think I'm lying since I had requested it off initially. Ugh... I think I may just quit anyway.
Hope everyone else is having a better week! haha0 -
Morning Ladies
Well things here are very dreary! I woke up this morning to snow!! Its September 17 and we have snow on our back deck! Somehow this is just not fair! I was planning on running, but changed my mind because of it. No way am I jogging in that today! I plan on hitting the gym after work and then jogging with the dog when we get home. Hopefully that wil free up enough calories for pizza for dinner.
Oh about the supportive husband. Mine is being amazing! He joined MFP with me even though he only has like 10 pounds to lose, He is tracking everything and is asking me to make him some of the healthy foods I have made for myself. I could not ask for more!0 -
WOW, What a crazy week. I think yesterday I finally stretched myself too thin, 5 kids (4 in school) is rough, finishing up the planning for our youngests (he's 2:happy: ) b-day Saturday, working out, cookinc, cleaning, laundry, errands, working out, just started college again to finish my Associates Degree. It hit me like a ton of bricks yesterday. I had a horrible case of fatigue in my left leg and a serious headache. I've kicked them though today and am happy it's almost the weekend again. Gonna enjoy the night with my hubby and our babes relaxing watching a movie tonight, got another big day tomorrow.
I'm going to take working out a little easier today, probably just a bike ride at dusk! Hope everyone had a good week and has an even better weekend, got lot's more last minute errands to run probably catch up with you ladies Monday0 -
well girls, i have to confess my EPIC FAIL!
Yesterday, I went for my normal lunchbreak workout. Found out that my gym membership has EXPIRED, so I couldn't work out. Weighed in (after 2 days of zumba and 1 day of kickboxing) only to find that I have GAINED a pound. Ugh. Yeah, so yesterday was not a good day.
I definitely don't want to gain everything back because I lost my gym membership! I'm in Louisiana, so it is definitely wayyyyy too hot to be running outdoors (still 100 degrees out). Does anyone have good reccomendations for home workout videos??0 -

I just discovered www.exercisetv.tv which has ~200 workout videos you can download for free-$16. You can also get some of their workouts OnDemand with certain cable providers (Comcast, Cox),0 -
if you are a size 10 at 160 something then YES you are going to look GREAT at 150!! And curves are beautiful! It all depends on your body shape! I think 150 is a great goal see how you feel at 150 and decide then. but sounds to me like it will be great0
-
Ugh I forgot my lunch at home and so I went to McD's and made far from healthy choices. Now I feel like I screwed up my day. No time for a workout tonight because we're going to a Drowning Pool concert I got free tickets to. Hmm I think I'll just make the best choices I can for the rest of the day and not worry about it.0
-
Stand up and dance through the entire concert to burn off some of those calories.0

Still open for more pin-up girls? I've been stuck at my current weight and need motivation to push me a little further. Plus, I'll be finishing C25K next week, which is great, but then my workouts will be slightly less structured and goal-oriented, so I'll need that extra kick in the glutes to get out the door!0
