    Sautéed veggies (brussel sprouts, mini portobello mushrooms, red bell pepper, green onion, cherry tomatoes, carrots, flower kale (my first time with that veggie), asparagus, garlic) and mixed in a couple turkey meatballs and some pecorino cheese; english muffin w/pb; and a clementine.

    I tried to make up for last night's late night eat-a-thon by having a salad with sirloin tip, chicken breast, carrot and cucumber added to a bag salad that was left after the lunchtime Christmas party. {There are about 12 bags of salad in the kitchen cooler. My sister's chickens will be happy}

    Sirloin tip, chicken leg and thigh, baked potato, stir-fry veggies and a roll. It turned out my eyes were bigger than my stomach. I ate veggies and roll, and about half the potato, the leg and just a taste of the steak. It was good though.

    Yesterday's supper was my famous layer salad(didn't have it until 2 this morning).

    This evening? Haven't gave it much thought. Seriously, I have no clue what to have. I'm sure I will figure it out.

    I had another really big {and late} lunch today, so I had another salad for supper. It was after 2300 when I got around to eating. I started with a bagged salad and added sirloin and chicken {thigh and leg meat}, cucumber, carrot, onion and tomato. It was pretty good.

    The folks having a Christmas party was nice enough to bring me a plate. I only tasted the little smokies, but ate everything else. It was not too bad.

    Made a pot of beans today, so just having a cup of those for dinner tonight. Pinto beans cooked in veggie stock with a large can of crushed tomatoes, onions, carrots, enchilada seasoning, garlic salt and pepper.

    The pic you posted in the other thread looked amazing.... did you have a recipe or just kind of throw it together?

    Sunday night I made double batches of Beef and Beer Stew (Pioneer Woman recipe) and Chocolate Gooey Butter cookies. Sent half of the stew and cookies over to a friend with sick baby, post-surgery husband, and a houseful of chaos...

    Supper tonight was a little of the sirloin that I browned on the stove, {It was very, very rare} green beans with sliced almonds, tomato slices, stir-fry veggies and toasted baguette.

    Margie and my sister have been doing some baking over the weekend. I sampled some of their work tonight. I had a bird's nest cookie {with a drop of homemade grape jelly}, pumpkin bread, icebox fruitcake and an iced pumpkin cookie. They were all good, but the iced pumpkin cookie was my favorite.
