If I am getting hit on I have no idea because I lack the ability to sense flirting when it is occurring. Only in hindsight do I realize that it actually happened. True story.

I am married, so it doesn't really matter. But as people have said, I wouldn't mind the confidence booster. In pretty much my entire life, I am ONLY ever hit on by gay men. Gay dudes freakin' love me. I can't explain it, but I must put off some kind of vibe. I suppose it's a confidence booster, especially since those guys are often more muscular and much better dressed than I am.

I'm a bad judge, so if someone is hitting on me I have no idea.

I don't get hit on... I make myself not approachable - I don't like calling attention to myself, therefore, I make myself not be easy bate. Usually when a man does approach me, he does it with much respect. I rather have that than be hit on by someone with a one track mind. I carry myself with confidence and I smile a lot but the creepers stay clear.

Most of time it happens from patients I work with. And then I offer them a bowel prep or have to empty their drain, so it really never goes anywhere good after that..

    Does that count?

The idea of "offering" someone a bowel prep made me laugh right out loud. Are they allowed to say "umm, thanks no, I am good" at that point?

nope, but then again that wedding band on my finger probably has something to do with it, or I am just not that appealing to the feamles around me.

My life is work (no way to get hit on), family, friends (so everyone is married) and the gym. the gym is the only place that I'm really w/o the kids or wife. But the Y is a family gym and not the typical meatmarket gym. Coupled with my good looks, the chances are about nil that I ever get hit on

Lol, nope. Even if there was a chance I'd get hit on, I wouldn't notice because I'm totally oblivious to flirting.

Nope, but that not hard to figure out why. There's a song with the lyrics "I'm a deep fried, double wide version of the man I was before." That's me :)

Nope. Doesn't seem to change with my weight either. I don't care as much as I used to though. I recently did some online-dating. I didn't put up a picture and also warned the guys I had dates with that I was a big girl. All of them were very keen to meet again.

So basically I guess I'm just not much of a looker but once guys actually bother talking to me, they get interested. Saves me the trouble of rejecting the jerks. Some of my hot friends get hit on all the time and they do get annoyed.

I haven't really gone out much since I've lost 40 pounds. I got hit on few times before, but never anyone I was interested in. Hoping going to a new university for the spring I'll be able to test out my lack of flirtation skills haha! I'm too shy! :s

I'm a huge flirt but but I never outright hit on girls and to be honest with you I wouldn't even flirt with you. I know my place in social hierarchy and as Jim Gaffigan says "When you are walking along and a pretty person smiles at you, you think "they are nice" and when an ugly person smiles, you think "what do they want?!?"" So no matter what I say will come off as creepy.

I recently went on a cruise with my BFF and got not one comment...honestly I have to say I was pretty bummed about that. My wedding band probably didn't help and I am happily married but every once in a while it's nice to hear that you appeal to the opposite sex.

So it is fine for us guys to compliment a married woman?

Not really. A few weeks ago I had a guy follow me out of a store and told me I had a nice top on, told me his name, and said I was nice and did I want to go out with him. Then he saw my wedding ring and said, oh you're married, oh well. It was quite flattering he was about 10 years younger than me. But other than that nothing in a long time
