I've got a coat that I've had for like 6 years which has never really fit. Now it's actually starting to. Shame it's so tatty looking now. Still, this means by the time winter rolls around again I should hopefully have more choices of coats.3

I hit 10,000 steps on my rest day! I go to the gym Monday through Friday and exercise outside on Saturday (walk, hike, etc) so hitting at least 15,000 steps is easy on those days. However Sunday is usually my rest day and I usually get less than 7,000 steps. But yesterday I hit 10,000!3

My calves are beginning to show some definition- it's been a while so I'm psyched. Also, my jeans are constantly slipping when I walk so I get to go shopping!3
-
I'm down to wearing size 10 jeans on my day to day life but when hiking, I prefer my 12s for the extra room they provide.
When.getting ready for a hike yesterday, the 12s were way too big and i was afraid they would slide down all day, so I wore the 10s.
I started out squeeeeezing into size 22 jeans.7 -
I can so relate to this!!tkphotogirl wrote: »I haven't untagged myself in the last three photos of me posted on Facebook

Lounging against me, my hubs said my backside is uncomfortably bony. No one has ever said that before, I'm a little excited, lol!3

I got a new P.R. for my run of 3 miles. I ran a 10:34 pace for all 3 miles When I started running again in Aug I was closer to a 14 min mile. I am so excited!! I really want to get under a 10:00 pace someday.. Hopefully in another 6 months I can post on here saying I made that goal3

Noticed my yoga paying off in both strength and flexibility while I was in bed with hubby last night3

I realized that my whole life I have never run for more than a minute and yesterday I ran for three minutes straight, twice. ( two minute intervals after that) I did a mile in 15 mins 26 secs. I've never done this before! Also, my hear rate averaged 112. 4 weeks ago, I'd be well into 140's +. I'm getting healthier all the time!4

Was out shopping with my friends on Saturday and we went to one of the malls in the area that doesn't have a lot of plus size options. They wanted to go to American Eagle and it was only the second time I've ever been in there since I always thought it was the type of store where nothing would ever fit me unless I bought like a mens hoodie. They talked me in to trying on a pair of jeans and they fit! They were a low cut so a little too close to comfort for people seeing my undies but whoa! It feels so good being able to find things in "normal" stores I never even shopped at as a teenager (I'm 27).7

The chair in my coworker's office now digs into my back. I guess I have less back fat? Also, I notice that my behind is less padded on the toilet seat now and I can feel my butt bones when I sit. My arms are starting to show some definition - like my bicep is noticeable and the flappy bits are less flappy. And I'm not really working out, just cycling and walking.
This is good, because the scale has not shown much movement since the 17th. I'm hoping that it will again soon, even though I had a cheat evening on Saturday.4 -
New here, but I love this thread! I've been savoring it slowly for weeks now. I'm on page 239 now and decided it was time to share a couple NSVs of my own!.
1. My husband, sister, and I went to a play yesterday. Between the parking garage and the nosebleed seats we climbed and descended seven flights of stairs instead of using the elevators.
2. Last night my husband went on a run for the first time in years. He actually said the sentence, "Well, there's no reason you have to be the only fit one in the family." (!!!!!!!)
3. I had a doctor's appointment today and my BP was fantastic!
Thankful to all you MFP strangers for the daily dose of encouragement. I'll be sad when I finally reach the end of this thread!6 -
I have always avoided chairs that have arms like the plague. I didn't fit into them, and they would practically cut off the circulation to the rest of my legs because my thighs were so big. I still am not comfortable in some, but today I went to a meeting at work and sat in a chair with arms, and I was not in pain! Maybe it was just a different brand of chair, I don't know. However...I know I have lost weight and inches, so I am taking it as a NSV! Can't wait to be able to do this on an airplane.4

I'm kinda upset that he brought this home though because he knows I'm dieting and can't be eating this stuff. He's supposed to be dieting too and has over 50lbs to lose whereas I'm 10 lbs away from goal weight. So I'm kinda mad at him for not staying on track and trying to take me down too. I know it's wasnt his intention but that's how it makes me feel.

I'm not hiding in pictures and I'm actually excited to be tagged in them (same as previous poster about untagging all FB & Instagram posts).
I had a stranger flirt with me while I was trying on a jacket at Costco. lol I never thought in a million years the MEDIUM would fit but it does! (I started out wearing XL/XXL)
Tried on some "wedding" dresses over the weekend for my wedding in May. (I wanted a dress I can wear again and not a formal white dress. We're having a very casual and intimate gathering too.) Ended up loving this one dress and bought it in two sizes. I fit the 10 now and the 8 almost fits. (Started out wearing a snug size 16.) Hooray for the 60 day return policy so I have time to try to make that 8 "THE" dress. lol
Today had a coworker ask what my secret was and she told me that I look amazing.5 -

Really great!!0 -
A dress I ordered last year was too tight so I stuck it in the closet. I tried it on it not only fit it was a bit loose.4

Small victory, but I can slip my wedding and engagement rings off my finger without twisting them. It's been too long since I could do that.3
-
Lost 4.2 inches and some of my pants are loose !! Boom !!3

I FINALLY got down that beast of a hill that I normally walk my bike down (because it's crazy steep and rocky and I'm afraid of crashing and knocking my teeth out.) Stayed on my bike the whole time and didn't even come close to flying off the edge or crashing into the bushes. What a maniac! Score!4

My daughter made butter chicken tonight and I only had 2 tablespoons of the sauce ( with my tofu) since that's all the calories I had left to eat today. And didn't even touch the naan lol

Huge victory!! Congrats! Working my way down from an 18 to a 16 now. Hoping to eventually get back into a 12. Keep it up!
Thanks, you too!

As I'm digging around in my closet I decided to try on a pair of black dress slacks that I had tried on 3 weeks ago and they were EXTREMLY tight through the mid section and completely unwearable at that time. I tried them on and they fit! I wore them to church today and got many compliments.
Awesome job ladies!!!!!!!!!!0 -
I jogged for half a mile. Haven't done that since I was 15 or 16. I am 26 now.hotasfire36 wrote: »I ran a 5K. It was awesome
Running/jogging is my next goal, I haven't ran in 4 or 5 years. You ladies are my inspiration. Great job.

I got up and did the dishes today! A big deal for me and my battle with laziness lately lol3
-
I wore a tank top to the gym! (More of a mental victory as I'm self conscious about my arms)
Also I didn't stop at any of the restaurants by the gym (I live in Chicago about a million yummy places to eat per block)
I decided to put the extra money I got from overtime at work towards more personal training sessions3 -
I did a 5k on the treadmill at the gym today in 29:51!!!! I did a 5k in less than 30 minutes! I never thought I would be here. Now to get my outdoor time down to here!5
-
I lifted a 60# box today at work no sweat. A few weeks ago I could barely lift 50!!!! Weight lifting is paying off!2

Third person at my office today told me I looked like I've lost weight. I ran around the block with my friend's daughter who said she wanted to go jogging (she is three). I have a ever growing pile of clothes that are too big. I haven't binged in more than two months.
I know it says most recent, but those are some of the highlights.
I'm officially smaller than before either of my pregnancies and before I got married.7
