I found my iPod in the one place I have no idea why I even looked there. But Lettie kept telling us that it was in her Grumpy's chair so I thought to myself and went and got the flashlight. I shined it down in the springs and stuff..nothing. Then I saw where the chair goes together when you recline...I reached my hand down in there and voila! There it was. Hallelujah. I put it up. Lettie can only play with it when WE let her, not her mother. She's too irresponsible. Thank you Lord for helping me find it because I would have never found it without His help! :)

I was just fixin to say look really well in that chair where the cover was. That has happened to me so many times. Where you think you know something is supposed to be there, but it just isn't.

I lose stuff lots and it aggrevates the crap out of my too. It makes me have a bad reaction too. Don't know why, it just does.

Well we are almost finished with the room. Just a few things left to do. He only got to do the outlets and blinds last night, so he has some baseboards to put on and some shelves for boxes and boxes of legos to sit on.

I think I am going to finish the 2nd coat on the trim today then start moving in some of his stuff that I can move in there that won't get in the way. It may still be a day or 2 till he can move in there, the paint fumes are pretty strong.

***I've been feeling a little blue this week. I think just seeing my house in all this chaos is getting to me. It really is just so much stuff sitting everywhere. I try to keep the dishes up and clothes clean, floors swept and the kitchen table cleaned off, but it hasn't been helping. The mess is getting to my mind. But we are getting closer and closer.

The not being able to walk or exercise because of the pain has effected me too. I just feel so lazy and have been eating my stress so I feel like I am piling on the weight and that then makes it even worse.

I know I'm growing a baby but I've put on 5 lbs in a week and now am at 40 lbs. at least 10 of that is just maternal fat. Which i didn't need.

Today I'm going to try and turn things in the right direction. I'm going to log everything and eat better food.

Heavy: I watched the whole thing, it was good, kind of anti climatic compared to some of the other ones. I really related to the bigger guy and the way he eats his stress.

Girl, don't let the baby blues start on you already. And just think of your house as lived in. That's what the bug man always tells me when I tell him that one day he's gonna walk in my house and it will be clean. He just laughs and says it's lived in...and he's seen much worse in other places. Bless him! LOL

Just think how nice it's gonna be when all your work is done and you have this wonderful new space to bring Rocco home to! And Nicholas has a nice new room too! Two for one deal..plus you got all of hubbys stuff out of there!

I just got back from a 3 mile walk...it was cold out there, but it felt so good. I'm so thankful to have the trail I can walk on. It was busy out there today. Lots of people out enjoying the sunshine. Supposed to snow tomorrow so we'll see what happens there.

My trainer is coming at 3:30 today...I'm anxious to see who he is. LOL

Hang in there Katrina...your weight will come off...and 40 lbs is not terrible! It could be worse! Love you girl!

Well, I met with my trainer, and he's gonna be a good one! He's gonna make me do what I've needed to do all along! I need that. I need to tell him I am ready and not give him a hard time when he tells me that what I'm eating isn't good for me. He told me that the waffle I ate for a snack was pretty much crap. Even though the stats sound pretty good it's processed. I think he's gonna get me off the processed foods...which I need to do so badly! I want to lose 80 lbs. I think he'll get me going good. Then I'll have to go the rest of the way without him. But I think he knows what he's talking about. He used to weigh 280 lbs. So he's lost weight himself. He's older (he's 27) so he's not some kid in college. That's good. He's going to make me do strength training. Not sure I will like that but I'm gonna give it a shot, he said we will also be doing the walking/running intervals. So maybe I'll learn that I do like this. He's going to work with me 2 days a week for an hour at a time! He's only required to do 1 hour per week...so he's in this to help me I think. I like that! Now, I've got it in my head that food isn't important to me for taste, but to fuel my body. I am truly eating to live and not living to eat. Who cares what it tastes like. Just eat. Good stuff for me! :)

My sister has started seeing a trainer and she is doing well. She has never I mean NEVER worked out a day in her life. Not even walked. She didn't even own a pair of tennis shoes.

She has dropped 5 lbs in a week, which she knows is mostly water, but still that is awesome. Her trainer is an old LSU football player so he's a big guy but has dropped all of his fat from football. I think it is awesome, your guy sounds like he will have real experience.

Got news today: C-section scheduled for March 29th at 8 am. OMG When the nurse told me I almost couldn't believe it, like I didn't know he was coming or something. I'll be 1 day over 39 weeks. My sister doesn't think I'll make it that far. I think I will. That is only 6 weeks and 4 days from today. OMG:noway:

Really got to focus on eating right starting now. That will give me plenty of time to get in the habit, so when I have the baby i'll be in a pattern.

March 29th! You gotta get this baby a name!!! I can't believe that is 6 weeks away! WOW.

I was really really really good with my food yesterday. I ate NO PROCESSED FOOD! It was all fresh stuff, except for the tuna out of a can...I guess that was processed but you know what I mean...I had fruit, I had veggies, I had whole grains, and chicken, tuna...and a little bit of fats. I measured everything out to the T. And I was still at 1179 calories. I couldn't find anything else to eat to make it more. And beleive it or not, I was NOT hungry at all. I was also ecstatic when I stepped on the scales this morning. I knew I would be down. And I was. 225! Actually, it said 224.5 but I put 225 in my check in just for some room! Today I've got a pretty good day going too. I had Kashi Hot cereal for breakfast...I didn't want it but I ate it and darn, it was good after all. And I've made an awesome fruit salad to eat for lunch, it has banana apple cherries and 1 TBSP of coconut, and a few craisins...I put 1/2 tbsp of mayo in it to hold it all together and it is AWESOME...it has that sweet/sour taste. YUMMMMMM And I will have a garden salad with a little mozarella with that with a touch of raspberry walnut vinaigrette! No meat for lunch. I don't have any. But it will be ok.

That is encouraging that your sister is doing well with her trainer. I may have to hire mine even after my free stuff ends. What a perk!!!

    Oh i feel sick.

Rocco is pushing on your stomach! He's about ready to get out! Woo Hooo!

I just got back from a 5 miles jog walk. I actually walked 1/4 mile then jogged 1/4 mile until I hit 3 miles! I did it in 43:43...that's the fastest I have ever done 3 miles! My PR! LOL I continue on and did 5 miles in 1 hour and 8 minutes. WOWza! I burned 850 calories on my HRM. I was kicking it today. I think the weather was PERFECT for me.

awesome Can you believe you are going that far? you have come so far in just over a month. You are doing great.

I was able to walk today. I got my maternity girdles in from JcP.com and they help so much. I was able to do 2.5 miles. It felt like I was walkign FOREVER...i guess I just have to get in the groove of things.

When I saw that you walked for 45 minutes on the feed...I was like, that is so fantastic! I'm glad you got the girdle things...and I'm so glad they help. It's going to help you so much after you deliver! You are gonna snap back into shape so fast your head is gonna spin! Just wait! When you can get out and push Rocco around in a stroller, you'll be going and going and going!!!

I'm telling you, this is our year to get if off girl! I'm gonna be a smoking hot MeeMee and you're gonna be a smokin hot Mama!

    I can't wait!

I made my reservations for Orange Beach yesterday. We are going June 4 - 11. We are staying the ENTIRE week this time. It's been a long time since we got to do that. Thank the Good Lord we are more financially stable since we rented our old house! God is good!

I have also had a great eating day today too! I was so afraid the weekend would do me in. But I'm determined not to let it! I went to the grocery store today and stocked up on some stuff. I bought a tuna steak, some pecan crusted tilapia, and some salmon steaks. I'm pretty excited to have that to eat this week!

How has your eating been today?

    ckmama Posts: 1,668 Member
Well my eating yesterday was great, for the first time, until my DH came in about dinner and wanted to order chinese food, I tried to resist, but once it was in my mind, there was no fighting it. LOL

But today is a new day and I'm starting over, drinking lots of water for sure. I am getting ready to head to walmart to get a few groceries and am planning on walking today too.

    LuRox Posts: 520 Member
Chinese! Oh No! I know exactly what you mean about those cravings! LOL

I've done pretty darn well not eating bad stuff. Today I had me some ham! 3 oz of it. It was good too! I also ate a roll! And tonight I had a Filet of Fish...no fries. Just the sandwich. I came in well under on my fat. And I'm under on everything. I could have used a little more fiber but that will be ok I think.

After lunch, i walked 6.5 miles. I went to a different part of the rails to trails, I walked the 1st 1.5 miles and it wasn't showing up on the GPS on my Cardio Trainer so I stopped. Reset my phone, and went 5 miles. I intended to only go 6 miles today. But somehow I ended up with 6.5. It's because my GPS didn't track the first mile and half...I thought I had only gone a mile. I knew it took me a long time to do that mile! LOL

Anyway...good day today, even if I had some not so great foods...it was worth it! I have not lost any this weekend, but I haven't gained either! YAY! I'm up to 79 miles now too! Gosh I can't believe I've almost walked my 2nd 100 miles! :)

    and then Mexican Sunday night:ohwell:

    My hubby has to quit.

I walked outside today it was beautiful. 70 degrees and full sun.

I also went to the gym and did 30 mins cardio there. That gave me 50 mins for the day, but I ate way more than that Better than eating and not exercising though.

SO I am up another 1.8 miles for the day. I froze my gym membership starting March 1st with a plan to go back June 1st.

Ooooh I don't like Mexican food, so that will never tempt me! Chinese is a whole 'nother story!

Good for you for getting in 50 minutes of exercise. You are absolutely correct that it's much better than NO exercise!

Today is my first "exercise" meeting with my trainer, Anthony. Today is a fitness testing thing. I'm not sure what all we will be doing but it is going to take an hour.

My DH got me a new pair of running shoes for Valentine's Day and I love them. They fit so different from my old ones, I'm hoping that that will make a difference in the shin pains. I still have pain sometimes there. These are lighter and feel more cushioned. Maybe my old shoes were just worn out! The good thing was that they were on Sale at Kohl's for $54.99...the bad thing...we got a coupon in the mail for 30-15% off everything AFTER he bought them! Oh well...such is life!

I slept late this morning...like until 6:45. I had to get up, make my breakfast/lunch and then get a shower...I still made it to work early! So it was all good!

    LuRox Posts: 520 Member
Well, I didn't do as bad as I thought on my fitness test...but I can't do many sit ups which is really surprising...I also did 14 push ups (girl ones) which is really surprising! LOL I didn't know I could actually do that many!!

All in all I got a pretty good workout today. I walked 1 mile, then did the push ups, then did the sit ups, then did a stretch test, I did well on all of them except the sit ups. He said I did good. I think he's surprised I can do what I did! LOL

Thursday we start with his regimen. He's going to time everything I do. 1 minute of everything. I may be dead before the hour is up Thursday! LOL

I'm ready for my tanning session! Ahhhhhhhh.

my sisters trainer was doing the 1 minute thingy too. I think that's become popular since the biggest loser phenom came out.

I'm glad you did better than you thought. Sit ups are a killer for me. Especially now:laugh:

Goal of eating better today is on.

    LuRox Posts: 520 Member
He just sent me a list of what I'll be doing Thursday. I think I can do it. Or I will try anyway! The situps are going to be a huge challenge for me...apparently I have no core strength! But that will help whittle away my monstrous middle that I have.

Did you see where I went and Officially weighed today...I was down 5.5 more lbs for a total of 12 lbs OFFICIALLY! I'm so stoked. It's been forever since I saw results like this. But I really have made a lifestyle change and I just don't want the JUNK anymore that I was eating so much of. It's so very strange. I've never been one to eat fruit and I'm eating it...it's all in the preparation for me obviously!

Today is Learn & Burn...I want to walk some more too, but I'll probably not get any more in other than walking over and back. That should be 1/2 mile. I'll get approximately the same as 2 miles in the L&B...so not too bad. But I won't count that toward my total.

You cracked me up with you sit up comment! LOL:tongue:

That is awesome you've lost that much weight. Very proud of you and your walking.

Today's goal is to drink lots of water, I have the worst Kankles right now. I'm also planning on walking. Supposed to be in the mid 70's again here today.

Not much else planned but lots of clothes washing and putting up.

Rats! I was supposed to start my workouts with Anthony today and he sent me an email saying he couldn't come today, but he could tomorrow if that was fine. Well it's not fine. I have plans that I can't change tomorrow...Oh well.

He sent me the list of the things I was going to do today. I think I will try to do them on my own today. I think I know what most of them are anyway...it would give me an idea of how bad it's gonna be Tuesday when we meet for sure! LOL

And I'm not recording it yet, but I stepped on the scales this morning and I was down another 2 lbs! (Which would be 14 lbs!) WOWZA!

I still can't believe that just changing a tiny bit of what I eat is doing this. I really have been eating what I wanted too. Apparently there really is something to "clean" eating! And it's funny, I just don't want chips or crap anymore. I really really don't. I thought about it last night...we have a pantry full of those single serve chip bags for 150 calories. I thought I might want some, but I really didn't. I was not hungry and I really thought they would be gross. I was probably right. I had crock pot bbq chicken and pinto beans for supper...It was YUMMY too!

Good goal with the water consumption. We don't need no kankles now!!!! LOL And can you come do my laundry...Please? LOL (I washed 2 loads of towels this morning...and still have more to do! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!

I am 2 loads from being all washed and dried. Now to hang up and fold the massive mound of clothes on my bed. Rick said he was nice enough to put them on the bed for me...so I didn't have to lift the baskets off the floor. Well thanks.

I've been neglecting the clothes, and that means just doing 1 load a day, and it piles up so fast. Then if Nick wets the bed which he has 2 times this week, it puts me way behind on clothes.

Super foggy here, when the fog is gone and the sun comes out i'm going walking today.

My neighbor is on the verge of having her twins. They said any day now. She is 35 weeks. She thinks she looks huge, but she is smaller than me. Of course she is not a big girl.

Well my trainer bailed on me...arghhhhhh...but I walked for an hour (or almost an hour) and got in a good three miles. I jogged some of it and pushed the stroller for most of it. Lucy and Lettie went with me. It was a good walk. I will walk after work today too. I am absolutely LOVING this weather. I'm so afraid we'll all be spoiled to it and then it's gonna snow again! Probably during Spring break! It's usually cold then. ARGHHHHH.

I'm still doing really well with my eating. Last night I made a good soup. It was chicken, white beans (I used the Cannellini that it called for, but I think Great northerns would be best - they need to be rinsed too! ) Chicken, broth (low sodium) fresh ground pepper, onions, and sage. Very simple but very tasty! Me and Lettie ate the whole pot! (It just made like 3 servings total! I WILL be making that again! I could make it in the morning to take to work that day!

I think I may see 219 this morning when I weigh, I will have to wait and see! WOW!

If your neighbor still has her twins at 35 weeks she's doing good. A friend of mine had twins and went past her due date. She's a little thing too...but both hers weighed right around 6.5 lbs each...those babies just come when they are ready don't they?

You passed the full moon for this month so on to the next! LOL

I learned a lesson the hard way. I ate buffalo chicken tenders for supper last night. I will not be making that mistake again! I feel YUKKY this morning...have diarrhea and am so thirsty I can't even spit. soooooo NOT worth it. I told my hubby that I would rather cook something for myself than try to figure out something healthy from restaurants. I knew that wasn't healthy but I decided to try it anyway since it fit in my food plan. It made me be 1 g of fat over but that was all. Very strange indeed! I was WAY over in Sodium though so totally not worth that!

we took Nicholas to Ryan's last night to eat. He's never been to a buffet before. He liked it, but I feel like crapola today too. I got water last night and mostly ate just the grilled steak and veggies. So I didn't feel like a total salt lick. But my husband who doesn't eat alot of greasy foods, ate a good bit and he felt aweful. Plus he had a dr. pepper and I think that just compounds the situation.

Going to make better choices today with food. 5 weeks and 2 days away from scheduled section.

I can't believe you have walked so far already and it isn't even close to the end of the month. Very inspriing.

Got in 4.5 miles today with my Momma! I pushed Lettie in the stroller...it was a lot of uphill grade today. My hrm said I got 768 calories burned. That's a significant improvement...I usually get around 450 or 500 without the stroller for that length. WOW maybe I should push her more often!

I made me some pinto beans today. I love them. I cooked them without bacon or fat back today and they taste just as good! Less fat. I'm good! :) I'll have those for lunch this coming week. I may make some "soup" by putting some boiled chicken in there with them...

I've got 2 liters of water down today too. My stomach is still a little messed up from my fiasco supper last night. Man, that really threw me for a loop! LOL

    OK, gotta go pee now!

I walked 6.1 miles today! I completed my 2nd 100 miles. Plus 1.5. So I start today with 1.5 miles towards my next 100 miles! YAY! Total miles for the weekend, 10.6...not too shabby! Now I need to figure out what charms I'm going to get. I'm due 3 new ones. I might be due 4 before i actually get to the store that sells them. Depending on what I lose this week...I'm only 3 lbs away from another 5 lbs! WOW. I would love to have 15 lbs down in 4 weeks. That would be awesome!

Now I'm going to figure out what I can have for dinner. Pinto beans is sounding really good bout right now! LOL

Well, It's Tuesday. I got in a 3.5 mile walk at lunch yesterday. I made it further than usual. I must be picking up some speed? LOL Anyway my new total is 5 miles. I won't really get any mileage in today since I am meeting with Anthony today. But I may go for a walk after work. Maybe. My food yesterday was good, my sodium was over about 400g but it's because I had soup. I used reduced sodium chicken broth but it still made me go over...but I have my sodium set for 1500 instead of the old 2500 so I was still under the original so maybe all is good! I'm finding that I'm not missing salt as much as I thought I would.

The scales have sort of hit a stall. Not that I'm worried because the pattern is that I lose big one week then only lose a pound the next. This is my only lose a pound week. LOL

How are you doing? It's getting really close!!!!

Sorry I've not been posting as much. I'm addicted to playing tetris on fB. My husband has about had it, so I have to back off. LOL

I walked 2 miles today, seperately, because it hurt like a son of a gun, but did them.

I also did a Denise Austin tape, I forgot how much I like her and how fun her workouts are. The old ones are so 1990's:laugh: But it was 20 mins of low impact and that's what i needed.

Been feeling a little anxious about my impending surgery, but I am coming to terms with it. I know so much more now than I did 8 years ago, so I am planning for the best and preparing for the worst as they say.

My weight has been really out of control these last 4 weeks, i've gained about 2 lbs a week. I've just been eating out of total boredom. I'm doing better today and added exercise. My goal for tonight is to just have a vegetable plate, because I ate 2 large bowls of my homemade redbeans and rice. I just couldn't resist:blushing: So I have about 250 calories left for tonight and a veggie plate will do me some good.

SO pray for me and my eating:flowerforyou:

Sorry about the trainer canceling on you. My sister has lost 10 lbs in 2 weeks, (never dieted before), but then she comes out and tells me she is eating 1000 to 1200 calories:sick: I told her to please at least eat 1200 that is base metabolic functioning and I didn't want her to end up on the same diet cycle I've been on my whole life. You know those low cal diets don't last long and the weight comes back like a beast. So I hope she learns from my mistakes.:glasses:

WOW, 10 lbs in 2 weeks! Good for her, but I'm like you, I"m leary of the less than 1200 calorie diets. Lucy is doing that lipo shot diet...she lost 9 lbs in one week. Which is awesome, but I am afraid that when she stops taking those shots she's going to go crazy again and blow up again. I wanted so bad for her to just try to lose naturally like I am doing. One good thing I can see is that she's measuring her food and keeping up with her calories. So maybe she is actually learning that she can't just eat whatever. I hope so. She's too young to mess up her metabolism like I did. Although I think I might actually have figured out exactly what I have to do to get mine going again. According to my scales this morning, I am down 15 lbs. I won't get to go weigh officially this week because of the tournament going on over there, but I will take 15 lbs in 4 weeks. I'm still averaging about 3.5 lbs per week! And WAY on track to make my goal of 20 lbs over the 10 week period!

Good job walking and doing the Denise Austin. I haven't ever done any of her stuff...can you believe that? I remember my mom used to have a record of some woman, I think her name was Cathy Smith, and you listened to what she told you and the album cover had pictures of what she was doing! LOL How crazy is that?

well I went another 1.2 miles Pretty good for one day.

But i have to come clean when I picked Nick up from school he was all stressed so that stressed me out and I indulged in his cheetohs with him. I felt so guilty I ate so many.

So I stopped and said well at least I will go walking.

I ate a veggy dinner though.
