7) 2 or 3. It works for me rather than the 6-small-meals many people follow.
8) 10-14 glasses.
9) I don't have them near as often as I once did. But usually, a workout will curb them. And keeping 'bad' food out of the house.
10) I don't eat out often since starting this journey. But when I do, I'll only eat a chain restaurants with readily available nutrition info. Soups, salads (not caesar!), and chicken dishes.0 -
1) Age: 30's
2) Weight: 127
3) Location: Alabama
4) Activity Level: sedentary, desk job
5) Exercise: 60-75 mins M-F

7) Largest Meal: M-F dinner.
8) Meal Frequency: M-F 3 'meals' with 2-3 'snacks' in between
9) Water: M-F 8+ cups water without issue, weekends its often just some tea
10) Temptations: If I'm tempted early in the day (and its not something I can reasonably do in moderation), I try to go for it and do the best I can with whatever calories I have left. Otherwise I'm working hard on having small portions of my favorites or subbing in items that are easier to fit into my daily limits.
11) I don't eat out often, but I try to find something that isn't too scary calories-wise: fish, grilled chicken, lots of veggies. If its a special occasion... I'll just eat what dish I want and move on with life the next day.0 -

3) physical location: near Seattle, WA
4) activity level: moderate
5) How often do you exercise? 6-7 days per week, for 30 minutes- 180 minutes
6) Do you eat breakfast? Yes
6) what is your largest meal of the day? Lunch
7) how many times a day do you eat? a lot. I graze. (I usually log all of my morning grazing as just one meal, and all my afternoon grazing as one meal, etc. My food log makes it look like just 3 meals, but it's spread out all day in actual truth)
8) how much water do you drink? Not enough. I don't measure, but I doubt I'm hitting 64oz. I'm just not that thirsty most days, unless it's hot out. But I drink lots of tea (0 calorie, so I usually don't bother to log it), so I think I'm probably getting a lot of my water from there.
9) how do you deal with food temptations? I don't have food temptations per se. When I'm hungry, I eat, and when I'm full, I'm full, and that's it. I am also not an opportunistic eater. Just because my favorite snack is out on the counter doesn't mean I am interested in having any if I am already full. If a food "tempts" me, I eat it (though I don't go and eat the entire cheesecake, my fave snack, I have small, reasonable portions of whatever it is I crave, and it doesn't "break the bank" so to speak). I do not fetishize snack foods or put them on some holy forbidden pedestal. No food is inherently good or bad, everything in moderation.
10) what is your typical restaurant meal? I dine out only a few times per year, and being Asian, I tend to stick to Asian food (the authentic kind, not the horrible fried crap that people eat at Panda Express or PF Chang's), and that stuff is generally heavy on the vegetables and pretty healthy. I tend to order soups with lots of seafood in it, or things like spring rolls, seaweed salad, kimchee, etc.0 -
