Sometimes I decide to have a treat, sometimes I don't. I eat things I like. Sometimes have lower calorie treats. Portion control. Choose a treat, have one not a ton.

9) I think about whether it's really going to taste as good as I imagine. Often the answer's no. If it's yes, I try to accomodate the craving somehow--a tiny nibble, or something that has a similar flavor profile even if it's not what I initially wanted. Keeps me from being cranky.
10) Usually seafood, and not necessarily "plain broiled fish with naked broccoli on the side". If we're going out, I aim to enjoy it! If it's a really good restaurant, I just accept I'm going over my calories, have a grand time, and eat a lot of salad the next day.0 -
