Our school mascot is the cougar. I always chuckle when all the PTA moms are out there with their "Cougar Pride" shirts on.

I think both are disgusting and would prefer not to be reffered to as any one.

If you want to compliment me than open doors for me, pull out my chair, notice my eyes....... I dont like being hooted at or reffered to as sexualized nicknames due to my age and gender.

I just want my BF to think I am pretty, this here isnt for anyone else but him :)

Agree 100% with all of this...very well said.

Both are pretty derogatory towards women really.

cougars are just old women trying to feel young by dating younger men

MILF's are just hot older women!

I wouldn't mind being referred to as a MILF, as long as it wouldn't turn me into a cougar!

Its all in how we act ladies. You can act with class or act like trash!

Yet you use a pic like that. Let's not feign superiority in a half naked profile pic where people can look down your bathing top. LOL

Indeed. MILF more so. When a woman says they're MILF I wonder if they've thought through what the letters stand for.

Doesn't like the word, uses it in her profile.

Because implying that women are too stupid to understand what MILF stands for isn't derogatory.

The hypocrisy in this thread is strong.

    In simple arithmetic:

    Cougar = MILF than

    Cougar > MILF else

    MILF > Cougar

    Pfffft...

so once we get past 21 and we have children it's seen as derogatory to indicate that we would be excellent or attractive sexual partners? Or once we are married with children we are holy and saintly and can not be desired?

    Puh-lease!

I do not remember any clause like that in my wedding vows.

Clearly, I find one term more humorous. My husband calls me MILF. I'm pretty sure he means it in the best way possible.

Instead of looking for reasons to be offended, I choose to find the humor in life while embracing my sexuality. Life's too short to walk around feeling put upon when you can walk around happy and confident.

Not a cougar because I don't chase boys, but nothing wrong with the term.

Not really - it's possible that some people have forgotten what the letters actually stand for and just take it to mean "someone who is older and attractive".

    Give me a MILF anyday.:drinker:
Imagine at my age how old the cougar would have to be 65+
