My mom and dad decided to visit from Chicago as a surprise...I walked into a restaurant and they were just sitting at a table...I was shocked
Then, my hubs needs a hip replacement revision...he's one of the ones you see advertised on TV...anyway, the doc called us today and wants to do it tomorrow...so, we are just gonna get it down....super crazy

Very cool...I grew up by Kedzie and Irving Park...then, we moved to Diversey and Narragansett...now, my parents live in Park Ridge...they brought me Italian beef sandwiches and hot Italian sausage....mmmmmm
I worked off of Ashland and Diversey for 13 years and I work by Kennedy expressway by Ohare and Park Ridge. I grew up in Austin area off Harrison St and Laramie Ave.
At work we go to the Dominicks in Park Ridge off Cumberland Ave and Higgins Rd. for lunch. A small world.
Enjoy your combos!! Italian combos very juicy with hot peppers are one of my favorites too!! I don't know what I would want someone to bring me if I were out of town. Probably pizza since I now know how horriable other places pizza can be. I live in Forest Park now.0 -

I used to work in the office buildings in that area until I moved away. I used to walk to that Dominicks over the tracks to get there for lunch as well. My sister lives 2 blocks from that Dominicks...your right, nothing beats Chicago pizza!!!
OK, hubs is going for surgery today...it's at the hospital where I work. So, I know he will have excellent care.
